However, weDry Restoration were much more attentive, better priced, did a much better job, and were friendlier. They were very understanding to the needs elderly parents's flooded basement the area recently had. My parents are in their 80's, and, could not have been more happier with weDry Restorations, and neither could I.

The other company came out, seemed knowledgeable, looked around the house a little (didn't go into the attic or do a deep inspection) and did an air mold test. The test showed high levels of Pen/Asp mold group in the master bedroom but the other company was unable to come back for almost two weeks and could not provide an exact quote until they came back. Due to my autoimmune issues and the symptoms I was having, we did not want to wait that long. That is when we contacted weDry. I was very overwhelmed due to the situation and first spoke with Amy, who was very kind and understanding. Even though she was professional, she made me feel comfortable, like I was talking to a friend instead of just a business. She was able to have someone out right away to do an inspection. When Mike came out to do the inspection, not only was he also kind and professional, he was extremely thorough. Pulling back the carpeting and padding in the closet, going up into the attic to look around, and even looking through all of the basement insulation. I was very impressed with the time and effort he put in to finding the source of the mold smell. WeDry was able to get a detailed quote back same day that showed a breakdown of every single expense so you know exactly where your money is going. I was also impressed by how quickly I would receive email responses from Amy or that she would touch base to see how I was doing. The cause of the mold ended up being due to an outside issue and our HOA stepped in to handle the repairs, using their own company. However, if Amy and Mikes work ethic are a reflection of weDry Restoration and the rest of their team and services, then I would say they are an outstanding company and believe that other companies should take a page from their book.

Our finished and carpeted basement flooded with rainfall coming up through the drain tiles in the last big storm. Javier and his team came out to clean the damage. The basement is divided into 4 rooms and there is a lot of heavy furniture in it. They moved everything, cleaned thoroughly, including closets, stairs and wool rugs and left the entire lower level not only clean from the storm damage, but cleaner than it has been in years. They were considerate, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend!!

They took our rugs that were exposed to black mold and airborne particles from a sewage/plumbing disaster and had the audacity to return dirty, filthy uncleaned rugs that dumped sand and dirt onto our newly cleaned floors. All they did was wrap them in paper to look like they were cleaned! On top of that, their guys are always smoking cigarettes so everything that is "restored" and "cleaned" comes with a nice stench of smoke. Thank you, Servicemaster. This is the 5th issue we have had with you due to our sewage/plumbing disaster. Let's not forget the time you wanted to charge almost $500 to houseclean the interior of our 1,500 square foot house. I came home to an 18 year old boy with one dirty, purple rag and zero cleaning supplies attempting to "restore" and "clean" one of our bathrooms with warm water. I literally laughed and sent him home and had management call a real housekeeping service. I asked him, "Have you ever cleaned a house before?" He said, "No, the housekeeper didn't show up, I usually steam clean carpets.". Exactly. Am I in the Twilight Zone? Servicemaster, you are the worst company I have ever dealt with. Lastly, the owner's level of arrogance and rudeness is above and beyond. Obviously, he must be a trust fund baby and not be in need of work or there is a monopoly in the restoration field because he is anti-customer service and anti-respect on top of their shoddy work and unprofessionalism. Servicedisaster is more like it.

She patiently answered all of my questions and made the scheduling process entirely stress-free. Our assessor, Ryan, was just as wonderful. It turns out he was in the office when I called, and Halle kindly offered to check to see if he could squeeze me in today. Ryan generously offered to stop for a few minutes before his next scheduled appointment--I felt so lucky! He arrived in 15 minutes. Ryan greeted me with a bright smile of compassion. The mitigation team did a great job removing damaged floors and walls and started the drying out process. About 2 weeks later after requesting things to get moving a estimate was performed and a few days after that the reconstruction program manager came by for about a hour answered some of our questions and said he would have the flooring and painting team reach out to me in the day or so. I sent information on some items that were on sale we would like have ordered to be installed in our master bath and to get them purchased. Those items were drop shipped a few weeks later. After numerous text and calls over a 3 week period no one else reached out to me. I shared my disappointment and reached out for the Director of construction to reach out to me with no return calls or emails. I even reached to others with the company to relay the message with no response after doing that. So I terminated Drymedic and had another contractor get started. Of course once I terminated their service, I was reached out to by Drymedic. I asked for the invoice for the vanity and faucets I had preordered so I could provide that to my insurance company for payment. Nothing was provided and I was told I would be billed. During reconstruction I also used the Drymedic pack out team for all of my contents. All of our belongings were packed and stored at their warehouse during the remodel of our home. At this point I was still willing to use their other services. Construction was completed about a month later by new contractors and all of my furnishings were brought back and unpacked by the Drymedic moving team. Insurance paid all of the fees for the Mitigation, Pack out, Storage return of my items. Contruction fees for the new contractors I had to hire. Forward to almost 4 months later I was just issued a final bill from DRYmedic for the vanity and faucets along with a bill based on 10% of written estimate charge of the whole construction job they previously quoted. I was told if I did not pay the bill it would be turned over to collections.

I sent emails, text, and voice mail messages. I received no call back, email or text. So, I waited till the next Monday and ended up calling another company. I can't tell you what kind of work they do. All they had to do is send me a text, saying they couldn't do the work. It's unacceptable to leave someone hanging.

This test was expensive,…read moreover $500, and it recommended paying a huge amount of money for them spraying the walls with some products that they claimed would remove the mold, spores, etc. I showed the results to other mold remediation companies, and they agreed that it was a form of scam or extorsion to get too much money from a homeowner, for just quick spraying mold removing products, and using some fans for a few hours. Another company did a remediation at a much better price, and the tests done afterwards, by a third-party company, turned out to be excellent. I would never recommend Mold Four Corners to anyone. They follow some extreme guidelines from the NY Department of Health, etc. focusing on the most stringent criteria, which might be OK for a surgical room in a hospital, but are an overkill for a normal basement. They sometimes try to scare homeowners, with some hard-to-reach standard, and overcharge them afterwards.

By the end of our visit, he didn't recommend further testing or even charge me for the visit. I was left with peace of mind and feeling confident that the air quality of my house was in good shape. (This comes after a lot of previous remediation and restoration over the course of several years.) I can say for certain that if you do need support, he is the type of guy who wouldn't take advantage or over-charge. He even left me with a small amount of organic cleaner to tidy up areas of the subfloor in my furnace room that were a slight problem. Do yourself a favor and choose this company.
