I also very much appreciate their space and how clean it is and that they have a bathroom in each colonic room; it makes each colonic session even more comfortable. I was looking for a colonic place with a closed-machine-system since that's what I'm used to for over 13 years in SoCal. I have looked and mostly seen that the Phoenix / Scottsdale area seems to offer a lot of open-machine-colonic-systems and I tried it, but it definitely wasn't for me. That's when I became even more grateful that I finally found a place like Healing of the Body and Mind! I saw Erica, and I am extremely grateful for her beyond belief! I do believe she's heaven-sent! I found her when I needed her the most! I moved from CA and dearly missed my previous Colonic-Therapist/friend. I didn't believe I'd find anybody like my previous, until I met Erica! She embodies everything and more I've been looking for in a Holistic Colon Hydrotherapist!!! She's experienced, knowledgeable, extremely patient, kind, gentle, caring, sweet, thoughtful, and quite literally the Coach that held my hand when I most needed one! My gut issues had gotten bad, I was in pain frequently and couldn't eat much without having side effects. I was desperate and I knew I needed to do my gut liver / gallbladder detox / cleanse again! I found Healing of the Body and Mind and quickly scheduled the two colonic appointments they suggest (to open up the detox pathways) with Erica, I also scheduled a Foot Detox Bath right before a colonic, so I can detox even further. I also did a lymphatic massage with Kasia; anything that would help me reset and jumpstart into my detox/cleanse/healing again. There is a HUGE difference from seeing a Colonic Therapist for a closed-colonic-system session to sit with you and walk you through the entire session quite literally being your mental and physical Healing Coach/Supporter through it all, than sitting in a room alone through a colonic session with an open-system. I am extremely grateful for Erica!!! She is definitely my person and my new healing buddy!! I did my 8 day Fasting / Liver / Gall Bladder flush/detox/cleanse with her and I am also scheduling my maintenance sessions with her in between my longer detox/cleanses, so I don't let my gut issues get to that bad point again. You get taken into a room to where you are told to undress from the waist down and to lay on this medical table of some sort. Then the assistant comes in and inserts the water tube in your rectum, and you are left alone for probably 20-30 minutes. Afterwards you are given some kind of a special drink and a tablet, and that's it. I don't remember how much the session was. I was under the impression that I would lose weight, but on the contrary, it actually made me GAIN weight!! If you read any advertisement claiming that the average adult has a certain amount of waste "trapped" in their colon, here's my advice...don't fall for that claptrap. This past February I had my first-ever colonoscopy, and the specialist informed me that my colon looked perfect and there was no "trapped" waste. I felt like I was deceived and misled by this pathetic excuse of a colon hydrotherapy location. A final note to the owner: DON'T BOTHER REPLYING!! I'm not interested in hearing what you may have to say, since owners will say and do anything to make themselves look good and to make the customers look bad. I won't be surprised if this location goes out of business!!

I scheduled my appointment and informed them that I had 2 sessions I was told that that was fine and scheduled the appointment. When I arrived she informed me my package was expired. I was shocked and told her that there was no expiration date on the package. She basically said oh well and said that she would not honor the package or refund the unused portion. I have filed a BBB complaint and have forwarded the email from which I purchased the package to the company. Nowhere does it say there is a time limit in which to use the colonics. Incidentally they blast religious music without any regard to what you the customer would like to hear, very unprofessional and uncomfortable business. Response to owners response: This is just untrue! I never falsified anything! I put my medical past on the paperwork, that's how she even knew about it! I did contact the BBB and they have tried many times to contact her with no response from her at all! It is an open and unresolved investigation against her. I did have 2 remaining sessions which she took and never refunded the money! She confirmed over the phone that I had those sessions, that is why I made the appointment and went in there. Only to be told once I arrived that she decided they were not valid anymore. This is my experience with this business, others have put their experiences in their reviews, clearly at least 2 others rate this business with 1 star. My mistakes were pre-paying for a package and then being stuck going in there to use the package.

Th experience in the pods differ for everyone. Once you calm down enough, and are floating in the middle, it is quite the experience. It's like being transported to space. An hour in the pod is enough time to destress after a long day or week. As someone who has anxiety, sitting in a dark pod can be triggering a bit. They do have light options in the pod, which do help. However my experience this time was a couple of moments of spasms and a few moments of calming myself down. Worse comes to worse you can al and sit up or keep the pod hatch open the whole time too. But the experience is a lot better with it dark and closed. I had the membership years ago. It takes a few floats to get used to the experience,but it was well worth it. Price is a bit on the high side, but that's to be expected. If you have time every month, the membership is worth it. But a float every once in a while is worthwhile.
