Ryan was my sales person whom we hit it off instantly I explained to him that I had other vendors come. I wasn't looking to beat around the bush. This was my budget and from there the contract was signed. Ryan quoted me on the spot, took the necessary measurements and pictures And beat all competitors pricing. The installers Jimmy and Anthony came in the morning and was done before 1 o'clock in the afternoon. My house was clean as though they weren't even there in and out with no hassle and no mess. They were super friendly professional, and did an amazing job I couldn't recommend a better window company and I'm so glad I went with Markeys. I feel an instant difference on so many levels with the new windows. No more outside sounds no more bugs and my heat actually stays in the house no drafts no breezes. He was friendly and courteous. The days that follow, we had communication with Rich (owner) about different prices for the material we wanted to use for our new fence. They are very affordable compared to others. The result: A few of our neighbors already told us how beautiful it looks. I am in awe at how efficient, professional (was here bright & early), fast, and hard-working Rich's guys are. Before I knew it, at the blink of an eye, they took down the old fence. I got a reply from Kelly at The Fence Guy saying that they needed all of the same information to give me an estimate. I immediately replied, and got a quick response saying that I was not in there service area. I responded that I wondered why I was required to give all of the same information that Yelp had requested and that I had furnished, and that their response was a waste of both their time and mine. I got a very sarcastic response from someone named Kelly at The Fence Guy that said I should have first checked their website information before I responded to their email reply, which would have told me that they only do work in Pinellas County, and that the problem was caused by Yelp's "platform". After attempting to cool down for a few hours I later responded to Kelly that I was not familiar with Yelp nor their platform. I am not aware of the work product of The Fence Gury, nor do I care to be, given this person named Kelly's sarcastic response. I assume that Yelp charges some sort of fee to recommend contractors. She may be totally familiar with Yelp's platform, but to totally waste both my time and their's with sarcastic remarks is not what I was l seeking. To Yelp's credit, I received other responses from their list of recommended fence contractors that stated that they were busy due to the hurricane damage, and would get back to me as soon as feasible, which I find totally acceptable and understanding.

To begin with, the sales representative was punctual, knowledgeable, and thorough. He clearly explained all the window options and helped us choose the style we wanted. Unfortunately, that is where the professionalism ended. One of the most alarming issues occurred during installation: a window was either dropped or thrown from the second floor onto my front lawn, where it shattered. The crew made no attempt to clean it up. I only discovered the shards the next day while outside barefoot with my toddler. I spent hours picking up tiny pieces of glass myself. When I raised this with the project manager, he didn't apologize or show any concern--he simply offered $100 off for my "time." Beyond that, the overall project management and execution were riddled with issues. I had to review the order sheet at least ten times because the company repeatedly made mistakes--wrong quantities, wrong styles, wrong hardware. Even after all of that, the final order was still incorrect. I requested that the new windows match the existing styles (e.g., 6 over 1, 8 over 1), yet this was ignored, and we only realized the error during installation when it was too late to correct. They also installed two top sashes in one window and acted as if this was normal. Their explanation was that "owners ask for ridiculous things sometimes," so they didn't question it. This was the only window of the 18 installed incorrectly, yet I was the one who had to push to have it acknowledged. The hardware situation was equally unprofessional. They installed mismatched pieces--gold locks with nickel lifts--because the hardware we selected was "out of stock," but they never told us. When we asked for replacements, they simply handed me a catalog and told me to choose new ones, offering no guidance, even though only one alternative actually worked with the holes they had already drilled. Another major issue involved the window screens. I requested screens for all windows in the original estimate, and this was clearly documented. Despite that, no screens were installed. Their excuse was that "homeowners don't often want to open their windows." After the mistake was pointed out, they installed makeshift screens that don't fit properly and are extremely difficult to remove and replace--clearly not the correct screens for the windows we purchased. The job, which was supposed to take a few days, dragged on for weeks due to unfinished work, installation errors, and repeated reorders caused by their own mistakes. Some of the work is still unfinished. I would not recommend Ardmore Windows and Doors to anyone. Unless you want to act as your own project manager, clean up after the crew, and still end up with results that don't match what you paid tens of thousands of dollars for, look elsewhere.

The texts which I sent on Mon., 8/3 and Wed., 8/5 looking for the promised quote have gone unanswered (today is Friday, 8/8). Allstate may or may not do good quality fencing work, but in my case at least their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
