The scope of the project was a planned remodeling of my master bedroom and master retreat which included new flooring throughout, new lighting fixtures, painting, and installation of a new electric linear fireplace. I was impressed by Sam on our initial phone communications- he was extremely professional and offered many suggestions that we ultimately included in the final project. After we signed the contract, he started work on the exact day that he had promised, and he and his team worked every day until it was completed. They actually finished a bit earlier than stated on the contract! Each of Sam's workers were very respectful of my property, and always left the work area very clean. Throughout the process, Sam showed a particular attention to detail that I truly appreciated. He has a good eye for color, and helped me to pick out colors for my walls, flooring and fireplace tile that really complement each other. Sam and his team constructed a wall length framing for the fireplace that truly exceeded my expectations. The finished product is simply breathtaking! Sam and his team will be returning after the holidays for the 2nd phase of the project, which will transform the master retreat into a custom designed walk in closet. I am certainly looking forward to working with Sam again!

I'm submitting this…read morereview many years later because for one thing when I tried to leave feedback when the work was done it was somehow removed from another site, and most importantly because we are now looking for help to fix the issues Pat and crew created for us. Amusingly I left this review on another site recently and Pezzello has disappeared from that site meaning my review went with them! What are they hiding from?? Our biggest current issue is our leaking roof and the quality of the job Pezzello provided. Every contractor who has come to see our roof to estimate the cost to repair is shocked at how bad it was done and the state it is in after only 13 years. The wood is rotting and potentially growing mold in places. It sagged even soon after it was completed, and has not gotten any better over the years. The siding was wavy from the day they installed it and is loose in multiple areas on our attic because there are no walls for it to adhere to. They never installed plywood walls so there are many large holes in drywall due to them trying to nail the siding into the drywall only. Two of the new windows they installed broke in half nearly immediately after they left. Calls to replace them went unanswered. They installed a front door without staining it and when we asked why they said it was never part of the job. We had to hire a 3rd party to stain it after it was hung so it was never done properly. Gaps were left between the new door and our tile as well as around a new set of steps that were installed. Most of this I attribute to the Pezzello team just rushing through the work. No attention was paid to details. No care put into the work performed. As a result we're left needing to have another contractor come in and fix the mistakes for additional money. For this reason I am giving a single star for value. I don't care how good their price was 13 years ago if I need to be charged again to do it right. One star for customer service because as I said, they ignored our calls and didn't fix the obviously broken windows. One star for work quality because the majority of what they did needs to be fixed again. I would not describe that as quality. I regret having work done by Pezzello, and I would advise others to avoid them based on my long-term experience with the work they provided and did not stand behind.

At the same time, a kitchen and a bathroom downstairs. The workmanship was impeccable. They worked clean and efficiently. Excellent communication. Creative ideas. I used their architect as well. He was awesome and I felt comfortable that they have worked together before, so they were, we all were, on the same page. Pat stands behind his work. He take pride in his work and his name and it's evident from the before and after pictures. A year, or so ago, we added a garage with a room above attached to our home. It could have looked like an afterthought. We're on a busy corner. But it's in style of our home and resembles a carriage house. Never a call back or a problem. Super professional. Exceptional quality work and value. More than fair price for what He puts forward. I had some hidden issues that he addressed, instead of covering up. Was fortunate to find them. I highly recommend to anyone. Extremely impressed. Can't say enough good about them. Excellent experiences, both times.

I'm calling on them for the little fixes as well, kitchen, bathroom - I need upgrades...they are reasonable, honest (already-mentioned), and they or his team will come back immediately if anything is unsatisfactory or not to my liking...and fix it. I can't say enough about Joel Braun Construction and his team! My parents are elderly and…read morehave been in and out of the hospital for the past 6 months. They have not kept up their home at all, for many, many years. My parents noticed tiles that had fallen off the bathroom shower wall making the shower unusable. The other shower had been out of commission for years due to a plumbing leak. My parents were showering at the gym once a week. Joel came out within a few days after we contacted him and provided a detailed estimate within a day or two which was more than fairly priced. He followed up with us and was called back to the house a few times, to go over the quote and the project with my parents. He was understanding of the situation and spent a lot of time making sure they understood everything, pointing out where everything would go and drawing pictures. He was not pushy and had a lot of patience. The project quickly grew from two bathrooms to two bathrooms with a complete expansion of the master bathroom by reworking the walk-in closet, removal of wallpaper on walls and ceiling, paint of master bathroom, carpet removal, and refinishing hardwood floor. We decided to go with Joel. He was able to start within two weeks. Knowing that he was working with older people, he not only provided my parents with places to get the hardware (plumbing supplies, tile, vanity, paint ect) but he even called to make appointments for them and joined them at the appointments for guidance. If my parents could not make the appointments, he went out of his way to make sure they had choices to choose from. He dropped off a color sample of the vanity and also did a lot of the leg work that my parents couldn't do, which was greatly appreciated. The project was going smoothly. Joel consistently sent updates and pictures of the progress and communicated well with me. Then, when I went to the house to meet with Joel, I noticed the half bathroom downstairs had a water drip. Thats when I convinced my parents to renovate the half bathroom. It didn't prolong the original project. He demoed the bathroom and used the leftover tile and paint from one of the other bathrooms. He went and purchased ALL the supplies, hauled them back to the house and had it done by the timeframe. He finished the project on time and made everything as easy as it could be. He even referred a cleaning service, duct cleaning service, and carpet shampooing service. The finished bathrooms are gorgeous! They did a great job. I would highly recommend using Joel Braun Construction.
