This morning while driving someone dropped a 5 gallon bucket of paint in the road and I could not avoid running the paint over. I went to Clean Freak Car Wash and was hoping to be able to get the paint off. The assistant manager John was AMAZING!!! He went out of his way to come to my car and help me get the paint off. He got all of the paint off of paint on my car and the plastic part at the bottom of the car!!! I tried to give him money for his hard work and he wouldn't accept any. Another lady pulled in who had also hit the same paint spill and he cleaned her car too. What a nightmare and not what I had planned for the day, but John made it all work out and I was able to make all of my following appointments since I didn't have to spend hours scrubbing paint off my car. Caitlin, my account was closed in February. I'm still receiving a bill from your company every month as you can see from the photos the account was canceled in February. My last car wash was in January and to this day I still receive a bill. I'm sure nothing will be done to the employee that told me to fuck off, but if you work for me, he would no longer work for me. I've had pretty good experiences at most Clean Freak locations around town but this one really stood out to me for a couple of reasons: I felt really safe here, the facility was huge, it was really crowded and very organized with multiple attendants helping to facilitate, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive, there were so many vacuum stations with vacuums in between parking spaces staggered so you could vacuum your trunk easily without having to yank on the cable, there was an abundance of towel stations all filled with clean towels, the area was very clean and well-maintained. I wish all locations were like this! read more

I've been a customer with them for four years, I've had multiple instances with the drive thru car wash it cracked my windshield, scratched my truck and I've overlooked it because of the customer service I've always experienced there but recently I went through there and the new manager, Carl, reached into my truck and took my pass of of my visor and proceeded to stick it on my windshield. Which I understand is the policy now but when I asked why he reached into my car and snatched it off I was told if I have a problem with it that he will cancel my service . then he Proceeded with this tough guy act , and was saying how much he didn't Care how long I've been a customer and that he's the manger and what he says goes. After he said he was canceling it it continued to be charged and I had to go back once again to get a refund. I just think that is complete bs that he thinks he can talk to loyal customers that way and I will never go back to this place again read more

1/5/2026, Going there for a car wash this morning. It's closed during normal hours, no sign, nothing. That's not good business practice!

Today the manager insisted that I place the sticker on my vehicle. I told him I do not have or will ever have any stickers on my vehicle (including the dealer ships decal which I made them remove when I purchased the car). The manager became rude and abrasive being a wise guy saying I have the oil changer sticker on the inside of my windshield (which is not glued onto my car). I told him I will be cancelling my monthly membership at which time he took my sticker and went inside and cancelled it. I have been disappointed with this location for some time as half the vacuums do not work and there are hardly ever drying cloths available. There are other car washes in the area that will get my business. Seems odd that in these economic times businesses seem okay with lousy customer service read more

This place has easily irritated staff and terrible customer service. Tue Sep 24 at around 11:20 am A friend and I were going through the car wash kiosk. One of the two credit card lanes was closed, so this forced us to go into the only available credit card lane. A staff member was hovering over the payment kiosk. He asked us if we needed help with anything, so my friend driving told him, "No thanks, I got this. Thank you". He didn't have any attitude in his voice. As my friend was trying to swipe his credit card, the staff member tried to quickly snatch his credit card out of his hand, so naturally my friend retracted his credit card away from him. The staff member then got defensive and started to passively egg him on and say, "Do you need help? DO YOU NEED HELP?! I'm just trying to help you okay?". He then walked around to the other side of the car making faces at the driver, not realizing I was in the passenger seat, and then stopped when he saw me. SOLUTION(S) 1) Make one of the two credit card lanes a "With Assistance" lane (where a person is waiting to help) and make the other credit card lane a "Without Assistance" lane. 2) Train your staff to understand that when they're reading their script to the customer and they ask if they need help and the customer says no, the staff needs to let the customer know they can wave them down if they do need help, then they need to walk away to give them space. 3) Always default to a receipt being printed. OVERALL Clean Freak doesn't have a good track record to begin with, but hovering over customers while they pay, especially trying to forcibly snatch a credit card from their hands without their consent, is sleazy salesmanship. Also, don't respond with a generic "we'd love to hear your feedback please contact this email" reply. I've offered what needs improvement, I've offered several solutions, and I won't be removing my comment because this information needs to be shared for other customers that don't want to deal with this type of behavior. read more

I signed up for a monthly membership. When I signed up, the customer service rep recommended not putting the FastPass sticker on the car, but to just leave it in the glove box so we could use it for our other vehicle. Fast forward a few months, and we were vacuuming out the car and a customer service rep came up and started accusing us of stealing from the company because we were using the pass on another car. I understand their point that they don't want people doing that, but that was literally what the customer rep said we could do when we signed up. Being reprimanded and accused of stealing for doing exactly what they recommended we do was sad to see. They handled that so poorly. I canceled my membership that day and have no plans on going back. Along with that, I feel like the washes have not been as thorough as they used to be. It often appears as if some components of the wash are not functioning. Also, maybe half the vacuums work, so that's frustrating as well. I only plan to use this place if I'm desperate and in the area. read more

I started going here when it was first built. It was a standard car wash with car ports and vacuums. I even paid for their membership for a year for 2 vehicles. Here is what to expect and then I will share a recent story of why I will most likely not return... As you pull up to a self service payment screen to pick your wash, you will have an employee (could even be the General Manager) hovering over the transaction. When I say hovering. I mean all up in your transaction, I would go so far to say at that point the transaction is no longer self service. Like others mentioned, I too can attest they have snatched my card from my hand to swipe. They push the buttons on screen and aggressively try to upsell and push the monthly membership. I have gone to this car wash a few 100 times and that is a fact. I eventually canceled the membership as it was not making sense financially. If you get a car wash a week you are getting a deal, but with no rain and working from home my cars were not really all that dirty to begin with. I would often pay for the max wash package, but things would be broken or not working correctly. Eventually I would go just to do the basic wash to rinse off my car. Now here is what happened on Labor Day and why I will not be giving them my business, or that of my extended family. I pull up to the car wash around 7:30ish am, hardly anyone there. Just as I explained above, I see the staff member hovering over the inside lane, so I go to the furthest lane hoping to avoid the aggressive sales pitch. No can do. As the guy is walking up to my window I say "I'm good man", rather him backing off he continues to interject himself in to my self service kiosk experience. I still have the sticker on my window from the membership and he goes "want to renew that membership?" I again say "I'm good man". As we are having this exchange I had my card out about to tap and pay, he takes my card and does the transaction on the screen. I again (this time with a tone) say "I'm good man, do they make you come up to each car" his reply to me was also with tone "you don't need to be rude" I said "Excuse me? I'm not being rude" he then said "your being rude and can just back up...' I said "are you kidding me I am a customer!" I said "where is your manager? And he said he was the "General Manager". At this point the gate was up and he had already swiped my card. He said "you can leave" so I said "fine give me my money back". I pull out of the car wash lane and asked what his name was? And who is his boss? He only gave me his first name and wouldn't provide his bosses contact info, or any contact infor for that matter. I yelled to him (he was maybe 20-30 yards away) I would contact corporate and he just smiled and waved at me for about 30 seconds. This is an average car wash with terrible management. ​ read more

Been coming here off and on for the last 8 years and have had more bad than good experiences. I have 3 different vehicles on a unlimited pass and there is always something wrong. See video (from 9/10/23) of a typical experience. The beater from above is straight up missing from the wash and both sets of bristles that wash from above were inoperable. Also, the high pressure water from the top and sides are broken as well. Furthermore, because something is always wrong, they put all my washes on some kind of econo mode even though I am paying for the best package. The ceramic doesn't seem to work either. I finally cancelled my unlimited pass for a while after waiting almost a whole year for the tire shine machine to be fixed. And TBH, after seeing so much equipment not working, I'm going to cancel my unlimited plans once again. I can't believe this place has the gall to stay open when so much of the was being broken. This is in addition to several of the compressed air blowers next to the vacuums blowing more air out the side than thru the nozzle. The towels often smell really bad and you have to grab a stack of 5-10 towels before finding one that doesn't smell like mold. The only reason I keep coming back is that the employees are really helpful and nice, but from a business standpoint, the owners should be offering some serious restitution to monthly pass holders for all the continued headache and inconvenience that borderlines shady business practices. We used to have no issue with this place but today, a hydrolic line busted and leaked hydrolic fluid all over 8+ cars. Their answer: pull through the rest of the way through the carwash and they would spray the car with water and use brushes, meant for wheels and tires, with dawn soap all over your car, likely screwing up any finish more with the abrasiveness of the brush. They had started out telling people to fill out claim forms and the company would cover any damages but less than 15 min later, the manager told us that his higher up said that they wouldn't be covering any claims and that customers should know that they "enter at their own risk." We have only had this car a week and this company is refusing to cover any damages that their equipment has made. read more

I decided to cancel my membership after five months. We noticed damage to the headlights on my sedan, both sides were really scratched up. So I went to the website and canceled. Got a confirmation that it was canceled and then was still billed for April. Loved back into my account to find it is currently active. Canceled it AGAIN (and also received the email confirmation) and it said my account was active through the end of April. Went back tonight to look and the status has changed once again to Say ACTIVE. I've tried to contact for reimbursement but so far have only received an email telling me to cancel on the website. Wash was meh, customer service has been terrible. I don't recommend. read more

Took my truck here recently and not sure if there is an issue with the machine or what has happened but the last few times I've had my vehicle washed here it misses a lot of the vehicle leaving it unwashed and dirty still. I'm an easy going , calm, and i like to think reasonable sort of a guy, and I usually have to interact with people for hours before they decide to insult me, but not here, and of all places - at a self car wash by an employee. Pulled up to this car wash at 11:30am today to use my free Re-wash coupon ( hey - they have these here and that's the good news ). The bad news is there's always an employee standing next to the easy to use payment device. It would be great if they were there to help when you have a problem - it's another when their main job is to sell you that monthly wash tag and of course , if you know what you're doing and don't want their monthly wash - they're there to insult you it seems. I pulled up with my wash coupon in hand. An employee who's a bit elderly and based on overhearing him in previous conversations is from Oklahoma ( I am too at one point so I'm not dinging him or anyone for where they're from ) asked me 'hello sir can I help you with that ?' , I replied looking him in the eyes ' no thank you '. I proceeded to do the two clicks and scan of my wash code which took all of 2-3 seconds. ( good stuff and a good design ) Then here comes!!! - wait for it - "well sir - unless you let me help you with that we are going to be here all day because there's a certain way to do that " . ( he then Proceeds to look at the payment screen which says "waiting for gate" - meaning somehow, little old me with my presumed well below average intelligence was able to follow the 2 year old audience intended prompts to scan my wash ticket ).... Dear clean freak - please either remove the employee people from the payment gates, train them properly , or somehow get this under control. We don't want to be sold every time we pull up ( I'm hoping I can go at a time when this guy and all the guys are on break), and we definitely don't want to be insulted . It's a car wash with the bells and whistles BUT the customer service is awesome. I'm not a regular at this car wash but I have gone enough times (with my dogs) to be recognized and they are always super friendly towards me and them. Most days I leave the house just to get out, and this day particularly was not a good day for me. The kindness of the manager/owner is unmatched, and the small gestures of help really go a long way. The carwash is just fine. I've been coming here since they opened. I actually just wanna talk about a staff member. For the last few weeks i have noticed a new guy manning the cars going into the carwash. Today i finally caught a glimpse of his name tag. RAYMOND. Seriously your best employee. I learned something today. You get the same exact car wash weather you pay $5 for the express wash, or $15 for the fully loaded wash. When you pay you pull up to the wash and get in line like a 3 lane drive through that merges into 1 lane. There is no correlation or communication between what you pay for and the car wash you actually receive. You can pay, let 10 cars that pay after you go in front of you and everyone will get the same exact wash. Rinse, soap, spinning brushes, mops over the top, rinse, blow dry. read more

They have staff to greet you and walk you through the options. It's a drive through wash and the $13 wash was able to get off the bird poop from my roof after a couple days of not being able to make it over. I had received a gift card from work but I'd gladly pay to go again. The staff is friendly and you have access to a self service vacuum free of charge after you exit the wash. I visited this location on 11/3 for a wash. During the wash I noticed the high pressure rinse was only spraying a solid jet on the passenger side of my car and no where else. I informed an employee upon exit. My car was still soapy and dusty. The employee responded that the machine was broken and the part is on back order. I requested a refund since it only washed half my car. When I showed the manager (Raymond) the dirt, he told me that the dust was from driving from the exit of the car wash to the vaccum area.(only on the driver's side) He said our car wash isn't perfect, it's like a dishwasher, sometimes cars come out dirty like dishes do. This place is a great car wash and the attendants are soooo helpful! My daughter and I brought her very filthy newly purchased auction car through and spent several hours at Clean Freak vacuuming and wiping down the interior. I realized we were probably taking advantage of their clean towels and free vacuums so when the attendant came over I thought we were going to get in trouble, but instead he brought a razor scraper to help us get the stickers and marks off the windows! Then they insisted we go through again, wouldn't let us pay, no matter how much I insisted, and even gave us the ceramic wash upgrade - all for free. I use their monthly unlimited carwash service. I like that I can wash my car anytime. The vacuums have great suction. Sometimes lately the dryers don't dry my car though. But it's cheap and close and I drive a clean car. I pay for a whole month of quick washes what I would pay for one wash at a different car wash so for me it is worth it and I don't get bent out of shape over a few missed spots for the affordable price. read more

I have the monthly pass for $18. However Cobblestone car wash on Gantzel Rd is $30 but really clean, kept up and nice. The problem is EVERY TIME I go to Clean Freak to wash my car it never fails that the vacuums don't always work and there are NEVER towels to wipe down your car like they promise to keep an unlimited amount available for their customers. On 10/21/2020 at approximately 1:45 pm I took my 2017 Chevy Camaro to the Clean Freak Car Wash On Ellsworth Loop in Queen to get it washed. I was the next car to enter the tunnel and the attendant motioned me forward all of a sudden It felt like I hit something. The attendant motioned me to roll my window down and told me I hit the pickup truck's trailer hitch in front of me. He told me to drive around to the office and make out an incident report and was met by the site supervisor Rory Lamb. He said he would go look at the security camera at the entrance to the tunnel a few minutes later he returned and said they use a company to remove dents or you can take it to your body. I had my vehicle repaired at my body shop. I've been trying since November 2020 to get the name of their insurance company's name and policy and they have refused to provide it to me my insurance company Liberty Mutual and my attorney. read more

I've moved to the area and like this car wash so far. It's quick and easy to be in and out. Not expensive, and you vacuum your own vehicle.

I have had an absolute nightmare getting ahold of any kind of customer service for this company. A few months ago I went for a car wash and was offered a monthly pass subscription, I declined. I was charged for MONTHLY carwash payments 3 months in a row and as I stated, I declined. This location does not have an office or front desk so it is nearly impossible to talk to someone in person without actually getting a car wash. So, I've emailed, called, scoured the website. No answer on ANYTHING. I was never given a registration number so I can't cancel it online, otherwise I would just do that. I unfortunately don't have the receipt, so there's no information with that either. I am incredibly frustrated with the service, and have had to dispute every charge through my bank now. This car wash sucks. My hair blow dryer could dry my car better than their dryers and they don't offer towels to dry your car after because lord knows you'll need to. The vacuums are only on one side-- I couldn't even vacuum the driver side of my car. Just went through the carwash. 10/6/2019 approx. 10:45am. Toward the end before the dryer's, the car behind me hit me. The other driver and I felt the collision yet the car wash tried to blame it on the tire shine. The tire shine tool wouldn't have made the car move forward at the time of impact. The issue was the guy guiding cars in put our cars to close together and as my car wasn't moving the driver behind me was moving and the machine made our cars collide. read more
