I had a bunch of snow in my tires due to a recent snow storm and they took the time to get ALL the snow off of my car. So appreciate the hand spray before going through the auto wash! Daily washes with a monthly membership & the only place around that offers express interiors which include vacuuming, cleaning dashboards and cup holders, etc. The wash itself has state of the art products. Won't let me put zero stars. Just left this place. Guy taking money was a total jerk. I wanted full service so my truck would be dried and cleaned inside. He didn't listen charged me for wrong thing and then acted like and he really didn't care. I've have been doing business with them for five years and he put such a bad taste in my mouth I'm not going back again. I am a regular with this establishment and normally I dry my own vehicle. Today I did the express interior clean only to find that no longer includes drying the exterior. They charge $24.99 to quickly vacuum, wipe the dash and clean the windows. They now want to up charge you $5.00 to dry your car. This is ridiculous. read more

I took my car to Clean Getaway to have the outside washed through there automated car wash. Selecting the $12.00 wash, I excepted a decent result. After going through the final wax sprayers and vacuums, I noticed a tremendous amount of residue left over. Not wanting to be like the guy who had gone around the wash again because he wasn't happy with his results, I proceeded to drive home hoping most would run off and dry. Well, it dried alright, and was very difficult to buff out by hand. Going through a large puddle may have produced better results That what I received. Love coming to this car wash when I can. The new upgrade to the car wash service is the best in the Portage area. The machines are easy to use. I've also had my seats cleaned when I had liquid spills and it was a decent price. I took off a star because of the closing times. Wish this place would extend their hours later into the night, especially for working professionals or people who have afternoon/evening activities. I tend to go to the other Portage car wash more often because they open later until 8 or 9 pm. read more

This wash is as good as it can get in the Portage area! From their reasonable prices to them scrubbing and power washing your vehicle before it even goes through the wash, to the new glow light show theme during the wash. I was going to get my car washed and asked how much the interior was and when I asked what it included I was treated like I was stupid for asking with way too much attitude. I pulled away and called to ask for the manager who very proudly told me he was the guy with the attitude. I asked for the owners info and again he said it was him. He then yelled at me and hung up. Don't go here because he could care less about customer service and if you have a problem or issue you'll get no where. The guy is a jerk. read more

Cheapest wash is $7.50. Small sign next to the door that the attendant comes out informs customer that the minimum charge allowed for credit/debit is $10.00. When I went to pull away because I did not want to spend at least $10.00 for a wash, the attendant shouted across the parking lot "YOU COULDN'T HAVE WAITED 5 MORE SECONDS!?" To which I replied "No thank you". I received the two handed brush off that meant forget you to which I pulled on the street to go back through to explain why I was leaving. When I got up to the attendant, I explained that I was just the guy that pulled away and did not mean to offend him in any way but wanted to verify a few things. 1. Was the cheapest wash $7.50. His response- "Yes". 2. Is it true I have to spend at least $10 in order to use my debit card? His response, "Yes". I then informed him that I did not drive off off because he was taking too long to come out of the building, I drove off because this was the first time coming here and I was not aware of the minimum charge to which I was required. Before I was even done explaining, he brushed me off and said "ok" and went to walk to the next customer. I stopped him and asked him what his name was and he gave it to me. When I called to talk to the manager, one was not available and I left my name and number. After not hearing back for 4 business days, I called back and explained my experience and felt like he was just listening and not trying to "make things right". He said he appreciated me calling but couldn't do anything else for me. I was frustrated and called back later to go further with my complaint and asked for the owner's contact info. He was reluctant to give it to me and when he finally did, it all made sense. The first individual who was rude to me was the owner so of course, the general manager wasn't going to offer a free wash or anything else he should have done. Will never go back again! read more

I took my car in to be detailed. The car had four floor mats when it arrived and only three when we pick it up. While doing the interior clean up, they moved a seat and somehow started a fire with a lighter that had fallen in to the track. Not a lot of damage just a lot of bad attitude. They will blame you, you drop the lighter, you only brought in three mats. Do not use only bad things will come. read more

I agree with those reviews below. I am sure in 1988 this place was a great car wash. Their current prices are out of line for the quality and service they provide. The wash is poor, the interiors are inferior, not to mention you're going to add a gratuity on any service (which I'm cool with but the price is already too high). Finally, my biggest pet peeve is customer service. It's awful. The owner doesn't care about new business, the staff accepting your order are both rushed and rude and there's never so much as a thank you for your business. I'm done with washes/interiors here. I can't wait for someone to open up a similar business with that one quality this place misses: caring about the customer. Then, I hope all of the employees lose their jobs (there is a nice guy that has been there once but I'm sure he didn't fit in the culture and left by now). Mostly I hope the owner goes bankrupt. Then, when he begs for coins by the highway on ramp and drive by with my clean car, splash him with mud, and go get another wash at the new place in town. Because I am awesome. read more
