** Missing Items ** I had knee surgery at the beginning of June. The day after the surgery and still hospitalized, my landlord notified me that renovations to my kitchen and bathroom were beginning the following day. Giving me no time to prepare for the renovations. The workers never covered my furniture and didn't take my things out from the kitchen cabinets. They placed all my things from the kitchen and bathroom into my living room. Once the renovations were complete, less than 2 weeks after my surgery and still having the staples in my knee, and my elderly mother who was hospitalized that morning and in ICU, I chose Clean My Mess to clean my apartment. When the ladies came, I instructed them to please take the things out of the kitchen cabinets, clean everything, and place them back in the cabinets. I only gave them consent to throw out the plastic bins used for leftovers which were in the cabinet. After the ladies completed the cleaning they left everything nice and clean. I was very happy with their work until I started noticing that I was missing items. Not just a few but quite a bit of items which I will list below. Kitchen/Dining Room - some dish towels = GONE - lunch tote bags (some I purchased and others were gifted) = GONE - mini cheese grater I used as decoration = GONE - lunch pot to put warm foods in (which was gifted to me) (brand new still in box) = GONE - Diffuser and Essential Oil which were gifted to me (both brand new and still in boxes) = GONE - GE Motion Activated Soft White LED Night Lights (2 lights) which I purchased (brand new still in box) = GONE - 2 packs of Mini Party Cups 24 cups in each pack which I purchased (brand new still in the packages) = GONE - gardening gloves = GONE - bathroom cleaning cloth which I purchased (brand new) was used to mop the floor -a Christmas oven mitt which was gifted to me = GONE - they used some of my dish towels to clean the kitchen Living Room/Dining/Multipurpose Table - 6 place mats which were on the dining table including my granddaughter's place mat = GONE - a Publix tote bag which belongs to a friend of mine and I was going to give back to her = GONE - a scratch off lottery ticket worth $5.00 = GONE - a duster, in very good condition and works wonderfully, from Stanley Home Products which I've had since the early 1970's when my aunt sold their products. This duster is not made anymore. = GONE - 2025 Calendar which I purchased in Seattle, WA = GONE - plastic bin to store vegetables = GONE - a Halloween bowl which I used as a mixing bowl = GONE - a violin toy I purchased (brand new and still in package) that fell on the bottom shelf of my hat rack = GONE - my only lunch bag that I have left was opened and contained a Wal-Mart tote bag inside - the tote bag = GONE Bathroom - cleaning cloths which I used to clean the bathroom = GONE Bedroom - picture of my father, who passed away in 1998, was on top of my armoire = GONE - black and white picture of my mother pregnant with me, which was on top of my armoire = GONE - I have a chaise lounge chair in my room which had a few things on it. Everything was there EXCEPT for a bag containing expensive Japanese figurines and ornaments which my cousin gifted me from his business trips to Japan and a pink with white flowers tote bag = GONE All the above-mentioned items were either thrown away or taken without my consent or knowledge. I spoke with the owner a couple of times because I couldn't find a few items and asked him to ask the ladies if they'd remembered where those things could be. The ladies said that the items should be around in the apartment. The last time I spoke with the owner I let him know that the items I was searching for are not in my house and I don't know if the ladies threw out the things or they kept them. We were able to come to an agreement, and he sent me $100.00. This was before I realized how many more things are no longer in my possession. I have pictures and videos to back this up as proof . Only business that actually answers their phone. I had very dirty tenants who left my unit dirty and I had literally 3 days time to my apartment ready for the new tenant. These people came on time, dressed professionally with a lot of cleaning supplies and tools. What I like the most is that the owner came to introduce himself and assure me that everything will be cleaned the way I want. They left my place very clean and new tenant moved in with no complaints. Thank you guys so much, I'm looking forward using you in the future again! read more
