Earlier this month (Dec 2023) I wrote a 5 Star review for Amparo and her staff from Mendoza Cleaning in San Francisco. They had just completed "Deep Cleaning" (More like Deep Scouring) 0ur upstair's large kitchen, two-baths, bedroom, living room and dining room. The results blew us away. The very next day we called Amparo and scheduled a "deep cleaning" for our downstairs. Our downstairs consists of a large rec-room, '80's style bath-room and a bedroom. My wife and I in the past always did the house work together. In truth, however, the downstairs had received a mere "lick and a promise" from us for decades. And it showed in grit and grime. That is why when we came down to view the results of 3 1/2 hours toil by Amparo and 3 wonderful assistants, we were amazed and astounded at the change. When I stepped into the bath I uttered my favorite expression of shocked surprise, "Holy Toledo!" Two more "Holy Toledo's" followed as we toured the renewed downstairs. How they were able to bring back the original bath, tile colors is a mystery to me. The floor tile had gone from prison-grey to hospital-white. Holy Toledo! Afterwards, while speaking with Amparo, she says she loves her work. She enjoys it to the point that when she finishes a job, she leaves little flights of fanciful, paper designs to express it and if it brings a smile to the client's face, all the better. Mary Lou and I recommend wholeheartedly to all, but especially to our aging peers who, like us, find the need for help, in keeping their home fresh. Grateful for Ampara who did a great job with my move-out cleaning. After another company was a no-show, I reached out to Ampara and she was available the very next morning. She and her colleague got my 3 bed, 3 bath home done in 4 hours. Everything was very very clean and looked just like before my tenants moved in. Price was extremely reasonable. Amparo and her team did the best job ever. I contacted her on Friday, and she said the earliest she could do is Monday. However, I needed cleaning right-the-heck-now. She said she'd check her calendar, and around 10:30 pm she texted me saying that she can actually come on Saturday. I had to leave super early, and she showed up while I was still there (exactly on time). The house was super messy, we've moved here only recently, but she did such a great job!!! We hold ourselves to very high standards and clean regularly and thoroughly. I hire Amparo for the weeks I am very busy, or sick or on vacation. We're originally from Canada and I had a trusted cleaning service I used in Toronto, but when I moved here and hired Mendoza's Cleaners they put my old cleaners to shame. Their attention to detail is astounding; they get right under into places even I don't always go. They spend hours and hours scrubbing, cleaning, polishing, and even organizing. They took the time to scrub the burnt on oil stains on my stove burners, even cleaned things like the garbage can and footstool. I came home from the hospital and noticed as a bonus they straightened up and organized my storage room under the stairs! I couldn't believe it! One of the few places in my home I hadn't got to. How amazing, what a sweet gesture! What they charge is extremely reasonable for the amount of time they spend and the excellent quality of work. And Amparo is wonderfully flexible with her schedule.
