I came here to use a Groupon I had been sitting on that was about to expire. I love facials, and never seem to make the time to get them. I actually love them way more than massages. So here I was getting my first facial I've had in a long, long time. My daughter joined me, because she didn't know what a facial was, and I told her it was a "cleaning" and she said, "but your face is already clean" haha. So I thought she could watch and see what actually happens. The aesthetician was nice. My face definitely felt better than when I walked in. It wasn't the best facial I've ever had. For one, I am used to being told the different steps as things are being placed on me, because my eyes are closed. She gave no warning when she placed a quite hot towel on my neck first, and then didn't even ask if it was too hot for me but proceeded to spread it across my face. It took a minute before it cooled some to feel more comfortable. I also didn't like that the bright light they use to inspect my face was turned on BEFORE placing the eye protectors over my lids, because that light is so bright it still hurts your eyes even when closed. And then when she took off the protectors, again she removed the protectors first and then several seconds later turned off the light. Why do it that way? I'm also used to getting a scalp massage, neck massage, hands, arms, something while a mask is on my face. That didn't happen. One good thing was that the extractions didn't hurt one bit. I noticed when we started it was 5:15, and I was done at 5:50. I thought wow, I got an extra 5 minutes but when the front desk told me the normal price was $85, I was shocked and said wow, for 30 minutes? She said, no they are 45 minutes, so I felt a little cheated there as well. She did recommend a product line for me, and I was pleased to note it was a line they don't carry, because typically they try to push what they sell. The woman who did my facial had amazing skin. I'd love to have her skin, and am sure she knows what she's doing, but I was a little disappointed. Update: I have noticed since my facial that my skin is very bumpy and irritated all over. It's been itchy and I've never had this type of reaction before with a facial ever! Very upsetting and I'll never come here again. read more

So if you're looking for a place to get cleaned out and I mean it literally, there isn't a better place to do it for you than Clean Start. This was my first colonic and I have to admit I was terrified! I'm such a baby with pain, but I have to honestly say it was painless and pretty relaxing. Never thought those words would come out of my mouth. I arrived about 30 minutes early and was greeted by my therapist Nicole.She immediately took me to an area where there was a massage chair that really took the edge off. The chair puts you in the mind of those chairs in Brookstone..simply divine! Then she took me to my therapy room and it was very refreshing and coached me through the entire process. Super easy online booking for colon hydrotherapy and was able to be seen the same day. Was greeted by front desk staff and temperature was taken before being allowed in. The lobby is so clean, organized, and full of herbs and other natural goodies. The entire place is spotless, bright, and organized. The music was a relaxing soft jazz. Filled out my intake form and was greeted by my therapist, Nichole, who was warm and bubbly. She explained everything thoroughly and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Once she left the room I did everything as instructed, she returned and process began. She made sure I was going to go and once I did she left and periodically came back to check in on me. Went in for an appointment at the Clean Start Total Body Cleansing John's Creek location for a colon hydrotherapy session, and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I've had a few colon hydrotherapy treatments in the past and I understand the health benefits of them. The hydrotherapy machine that is used at Clean Start is the Angel of Waters and it is considered the very best machine on the market. This was my first session with the Angel of Waters machine and I must say that it was a very comfortable, relaxing experience. This place is Amazing!! Found this place in Living Social and was looking for a place to help clear toxins from the inside out. It is easy to find and upon entrance it is very bright, warm and inviting. They have an array of healthy supplements and offer tea with organic honey and peppermint oil to add if you choose. I arrived an hour early for my appointment since I finished work early and didn't want to drive all the way home. Nicole, the kind woman working offered if I would like to relax in their reclining FULL body massage chair. Of course! I never been in one before and it was amazing!! It literally massages you from head to toe!! I want one in my home. Definitely need to experience for yourself, way better than the massage chairs at a nail salon. After that she took me to get my foot detox. Within the room there is a TV with Netflix!! I was able to catch up on one of my shows . She explained the Detox which was really cool, because it explained how I have been feeling. After she gave me a foot massage, dried my feet and escorted me into the Hydrotherapy room. Recently moved to GA from CA and decided to try Clean Start Cleansing. Bad decision! Started with a first-time client deal $110 with three services (mind you it is priced differently on this Yelp description by the owner). My first time was nice thanks to Kelsey who was AMAZING! She was super knowledgeable and I made sure to tip well over 20% for her excellent service! When making an appt there is a 40$ deposit that should be applied to your appt - here's the scam - it's to your NEXT appt! cool... first-time client deal can't be combined with a deposit, blah blah blah, we get it, it's business $$$ So I make a future appt for today for just one service. Kelsey called twice during the week to confirm appt I returned her call the night before to either cancel/change appt but no one answered. I called an hour before my appt and no one still answered. So I hit the road to my appt to speak to them in person and possibly still attend service. Due to Atlanta traffic (which I am so not used to), arrived 31 minutes after appt start time. I asked what would be my options, and NICOLE immediately brings up the deposit and lets me know that because it is passed 24 hours cancellation period and over 15 minutes into appt time they would retain the 40$ deposit. I ask if is there any way I can have a first-time exception and reschedule because I have to leave this area at a specific time, she continues to offer a time I specifically advised I can not make. I explain I called yesterday and this morning and no one reached out. They claimed they texted me the day of..... IS THAT NOT PASSED THE DEADLINE TO CANCEL?! and rather dangerous to text a client who should be en route to your business.. I was told if I want another appt I would have to pay full price and a deposit will be taken. Can not believe people like this exist. It damn near took 40$ worth of gas to get to this rude, unprofessional, and money-hungry place. P.S it was giving racist vibes anyways, the "but my best friend is black so I can't be racist" vibes If you're all about inclusive, genuine customer care and surrounding yourself with people who truly support you and your journey - STAY AWAY! I received the foot detox and purchased herbal pills that will give you a mild colon cease. The receptionist was very polite and they saw me right away. It is very quiet and relaxing. Another lady explained the process to me and what all of the colors meant in the foot bath. She also answered all of my questions about the colonic process as well.
