The 1BR, 1B apartment was completely empty--all furniture and belongings had already been moved out. I left her alone to clean the apartment, and then 3 hours later I get a text saying she's almost done. The pictures attached below are what I discovered afterwards. They speak for themselves. Listed below are more issues with the experience: 1) She told me her arrival window for my appointment was 10:00AM-11:00AM. She did not show up until 11:30AM. No apology or acknowledgment for being late. I waited for her for an hour and a half. I called her right after 10:00AM asking her arrival time and she said "23 minutes". So that's lie #1. 2) After I took pictures of the mess of the apartment, I texted Abby asking for a refund. *screenshots below* She took over an hour to respond. During this time, I thought she had scammed me so I left a review on here with pictures. Abby initially offered to come back and re-clean (which I didn't want because I didn't want to use her services anymore--just wanted my money back), but after she saw I had left a bad review, she changed her mind and then accused me of trying to "ruin her business and livelihood". I had to remind her that business is not personal, it's business. As soon as she responded, I deleted the review because I thought we could work this out in private. But as you'll see that's not the case. 3) One of the reasons Abby refuses to give me a refund because she "already gave me $60.00 off from the start" because I "seemed nice". I appreciate it, but that wasn't disclosed beforehand nor did I ask for a discount. Only came up after I asked for my money back....hmm... *screenshots below* 4) Abby was insistent on the fact that I should have made her fix all of these things before she left. Even though I didn't want to use her anymore, I saw where she was coming from, so I told her she could keep the money because I didn't speak up initially. This was extremely generous of me considering the state of the apartment. *screenshots below* 5) I had to take off work today to complete the cleaning job (), and while I was cleaning I noticed damage and stains that Abby created while she was there!! She was drinking a red ICE drink, now there's a red drink stain all over my white door. There is a blue stain that looks like it's from a cleaning glove on one of my shelves. And there are scratches on my window sill that were not there before. Since I'm going to have to pay for these things to be repaired myself, I thought for sure it was ok to ask for my money back....wrong. Abby again wants to blame me. *screenshots below* I don't know how many times I have to explain that I don't care if she offered to come back and clean it. I didn't want her to because she already had not done the job that was promised. 6) She claims she cleaned my microwave, stove, wiped all the cabinets, and scrubbed my carpet (1 small BR of carpet) for over 2 hours. PLEASE look at the pictures included of the microwave, stove, and bedroom carpet. Are you kidding me?!? Lies #2, 3, 4, & 5! 7) Abby accuses me of wanting "free work" and even tries to pull the slavery card which is extremely offensive, irrelevant, and inappropriate. I try over and over again to explain to her that that's not the case. If I wanted free work, I would have done it myself from the get go. I have been lied to, scammed, and taken advantage of by this business. There's nothing else I can do except make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else. I don't understand how 3 hours in less than 700 sq ft results in the pictures below. Please safe yourself the trouble and money and use somebody else.

Warning: Do NOT Hire Tidy JS!…read more We can not stress enough how horrible our experience was with Jan from Tidy JS. This is not just a cleaning company to avoid--it's one to run from as fast as you can, leaving skidmarks. Here's why: 1. Jan Does Not Care About Her Customers. I needed to move back into my home as I had people staying there, and they trashed it. I moved some of my furniture and things in and was going to clean myself but couldn't. It was overwhelming! When I then hired this woman and provided detailed instructions on what should stay, what should go, and what was off-limits. She completely ignored everything. Not only did she throw away items we specified to keep, but she also helped herself by going through all my things and taking items that were identified as off limits. She even took it upon herself to open an Amazon package delivered to us. Luckily, it wasn't of use to her, so she "kindly" left it behind. How considerate--not! 2. Total Disregard for my Privacy, the Truth, My Time, and Lacked Professionalism. Jan was hours late every single day, always full of excuses. She ended up leaving our house in complete disarray. Despite that, I paid her $600 for this disaster, plus $175 for a trash haul. Except, instead of hauling the trash like she told me she had, I found it all dumped in 2 highly embarrassing piles in our backyard! I am beyond angry!! Then she tried to charge us more, saying this was the second haul of trash because, according to her, they couldn't take it all in one trip. Except, according to video footage, they didn't take any trash on the first trip! Just a straight-up liar! This woman also had the nerve to read my divorce decree!! When I confronted her about my missing items, she had the nerve to say, "I found a divorce decree that said all household items were left to your husband!" As if #1, that makes it ok to steal our things. #2 she obviously doesn't understand how to read decrees cause that was not the case. and #3, I divorced almost 8 years ago! What in the holy hell kind of justification is this? She also had the nerve to claim we hadn't paid her enough, In fact, the minute she entered our house, she sent a message tacking on an extra $250 for "too much furniture and ciuldnt work around it." Originally, the price was supposed to be $530, which we reluctantly agreed to raise to $600. At this point, she now has racked up a huge bill with us that, unfortunately, will have very serious legal consequences for her. 3. Queen of Excuses. When I confronted her about the state of the house, Jan actually admitted it was a mess at first. Except, when she returned to clean one room, she stole more items and left. In fact, the only reason she agreed to come back was to steal our stuff. Then, instead of making things right, she continued making excuses. She knew we had to stay in a hotel because our home was still uninhabitable, and throught this whole fiasco, she took advantage of us and many valuable items were stolen, including our Oreck orbital cleaning system, which she used and loved and I guess decided it should be hers! It's just a coincidence that it's now gone according to her. Our 3D printer is also missing, and the list keeps growing by the hour as my fiance and I go through the house with a fine tooth comb for the police. 4. Security Breach and Property Damage. Conveniently, but more dumb than anything, Jan claimed the house was left unlocked overnight, and she "has no idea" what happened after she left. Except, how would she know it was left unlocked unless she and her gophers came back at night to check? Yes, she unknowingly incriminated herself! up. 5. Pressing Charges. We've filed a police report and are working with Law Enforcement on pressing charges to the fullest extent. In the end, threatened me with calling the police for harassment, which didn't surprise me--typical guilty behavior. We even gave her a chance to return the items to avoid charges, but because she unsurprisingly refused, we were forced to stick up for ourselves. Therefore, they will be held accountable. We are going through more footage for the police with all of our neighbors from every angle, but already, at this point, it's clear that things are not looking good for Jan and Tidy JS. In summary: If you want to deal with lies, theft, destruction, disrespect, and endless excuses, then by all means, hire Jan and Tidy JS. They are the company for you! But if you value your livelyhood, time, property, and peace of mind, stay far away from this company. We hope this helps the public avoid being treated like this in the future. Ultimately, Jan should definitely consider a new profession. ***All evidenced attached.
