Although a simple adjustment is a covered service with my insurance carrier, with a $0 copay, the receptionist and office manager refused to bill for the service and demanded I pay the full charge, $50.00 (This was after I declined to schedule multiple other services.) I paid the $50.00 charge and left. I reached out to my insurance carrier for reimbursement assistance and they advised charging me was a breach of the provider's contract and the carrier attempted to reach out to the provider to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, they were met with hostility and defensiveness from the office manager, along with a flat refusal to reimburse for the service. I won't return to this provider, ever.

My wife's sciatic pain flared up during a long drive to Dallas to the point she couldn't even sit down. When we got back to the Houston area, we called Anew right away and saw Dr. G as soon as possible. After the very first visit, her pain was almost completely gone. By the second visit, she was walking comfortably with zero pain. It was amazing to see how quickly she recovered under his care -- he really knows what he's doing and takes the time to explain everything clearly. Pros: The location is convenient and easy to find, pricing is very fair (especially for the quality of care you get), and everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. I also love that Dr. G focuses on organic and natural methods -- it feels like he's healing the root cause, not just masking symptoms. It is VERY cramped and dark with no windows, like a dungeon, and the layout is quite strange. To get there you have to walk down a long, long hallway through another doctor's waiting room, then finally you get to the equipment way in the back by the emergency exit. I know she probably moved to this new office to save on rent, but it's a big step down from the bright, roomy clinic she had before. I would still return for PT with her, however.
