All of the ranges are kept in excellent working condition 2 x 25 yds, 1 x 50yds & 1 x 100 yds, Bopper (Steel plates) and an interactive (Simulation Range). The RSOs are friendly but firm on the rules, as it should be. The sales folk will always be happy to sell you a new, new-to-you firearm or Order it if they don't have it on hand. If you need to try a firearm out before purchasing, you can always Rent one from their catalog of available firearms. If you need Training, they have in-house trainers via the Makhaira Group and classrooms on-site.

Since then I've been back twice to shoot skeet, last time I was having issues with the card not being read at the skeet range and went back to the office to fix it. Employee was very nice and didn't make me feel like I did anything wrong, just said weird card says it had money on it, here's a new one come back if it keeps giving you problems. That's what I want from a range, being able to interact with employees who don't make you feel like you're a bother, and nice clean facilities.

A short chat convinced me of their expertise "in all makes, models, and types of guns," from before 1917 to the most current available, and that's saying a lot. Brick House Guns offers a 2% discount for single moms, active & retired police officers, military and first responders. Fortunately, Greeley's police while not enthusiastic over private gun ownership, and the Weld County Sheriff's Department which recognizes the value of a qualified armed citizenry, do not sit on applications like the police in Berlin Township, NJ, whose dilly-dallying cost Carol Bowne her life. So while you are in a citizen-friendly, human rights friendly state (more or less), if you are a single mom, Brick House Guns could be a step in protecting yourself and your children. "Family-owned" means twofer - if you're more comfortable speaking with a woman, this is the place to come. (imho) I was surprised at the variety of Brick House Guns' inventory. I saw what looked like a 1917 German Luger, a "Tommy Gun" of some sort, many choices from inexpensive entry-level revolvers to guns of modern materials, as well as rare collector items. I have not bought anything here, but given the warm welcome, the remarkable expertise and knowledge of the owners, if I were to buy a firearm, I would give due consideration to this local 10th Street business. Asked if "good for kids?", I decided that this establishment is "okay for kids." It's a bit like a gun museum. The owners can talk history and manufacturing if that is what the kids are interested in. The owners can also give names of responsible instructors to parents when they decide it is time for their children to learn the fine arts of competitive shooting, recreational shooting, ceremonial use, collecting, hunting, assembling, 80%ing, detaining home invaders, preventing crime, self-defense, family-defense, and overcoming hoplophobia.

Prior to Saturday, June 17th, '23, I had been to Trigger Time once with a long-standing member of the club. Even though I have shot a great number of guns there - as well as out in the wilderness - I knew that I needed formal instruction. The father & son teaching the class together were superb (Perry & Troy Morris). Both certified by the NRA, I knew that these two men were the real deal. [They also struck me as really good humans.]    The lecture portion of the course was nicely jazzed up with humor and interaction, and the Powerpoint presentation itself wasn't a snoozer like so many Power Points wind up being. These astute learning leaders maintained our attention and alertness by providing frequent breaks and interesting facts throughout the day.   Regarding the hands-on portion of the class, Troy and Perry were marvelously encouraging and provided the perfect amount of assistance & intervention.  From loading and proper grip to stance & hitting the target, the father & son team made the experience downright enjoyable. Since taking the class, my intimidation and fear in handling guns has diminished greatly and my basic pistol skills seem more solidified. That being said, I am going to recommend the Pistol Basics class - and Trigger Time, the business itself, particularly to other women.

This local shop is located on our way to the gun range. Their prices are very fair and usually when people are not stock piling they have a good variety of choice available. The staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly. They have always been more than willing to answer my questions that i have had when coming in. Even if its helping me figure out what ammo i needed for various guns. Have been so happy with their service and products that i have actually went out of my way to try to get most of our ammo from this location even though its a good 40 minute drive from my house one way.
