I have literally had the worst week ever. It started off with my husband getting into a major motorcycle accident with a deer. The refrigerator and the septic all went out around the same time. My husband is going to recover this is most important. During this devastation like I said the septic acted up while my mother in law was in town to visit her son. Clear Choice Septic came out as soon as they could, figured out the problem, determined it was so minor in nature that they fixed it no charge. I'm not saying this would happen to anyone else but I would say that this was the best thing that has happened to me/us all week. Thank you Clear Choice for making our horrific week a little better. They are very efficient in their services as well as will take time to discuss septic operations. The quality of their services is great as we had an issue with roots growing into septic tank and they recommended root removal additives and helped to remove larger root growth. Justin and his team are always very prompt to help. I've had a couple of issues with my septic over the last few years and they were there on the same day to fix the issues. Not only that, he fully explained what was happening each time and offered a very reasonable price to repair. My house is only three years old and the pump on the septic burnt up, Justin or one of his technicians showed up promptly to replace the pump at a fair price. They could have stopped there as that's all I asked them to do but the technician identified that the wiring was wrong on the initial install by a different septic company which led to the premature failure. Had that not gone the extra mile I would have no doubt been in the same situation a couple of years later. Thank you Justin. read more

I was having some serious issues with my septic system, and Justin was able to identify the problems and resolved them quickly. He even took the time to explain how everything worked and what I could do in the future to help identify what specifically needed to be repaired or resolved to keep my septic system working as intended. I clearly described access to my tank and they were able to quote the same over the telephone & in-person price. I found the 2 techs friendly & they provided good info on system maintenance. They neatly put back the little bit of grass around the tank lid they had to remove to access the lid. Also...I would ignore that other guy with the negative review about price change. If your tank lid is buried, & significant effort has to go into just accessing the lid before any pump out work can be done & you don't tell Bulldog that, then charging more for the time & to dig it out is reasonable. I will use Bulldog for my future septic pump out needs.

I had my septic tank pumped. They did a good job, but they severely under-quoted me how much it…read morewould cost. I was quoted $425 plus a "possible $100 digging charge if they have to dig more than 12 inches down". So my family and I went out there and dug out one whole opening, about 11" down. Turns out they need 2 openings, plus they changed their digging charge policy. According to the receptionist, the policy just changed to "If they have to dig at all, it's $100". So just be aware. $100 to dig a few scoops of dirt SEEMS high to me, but what do I know. My average sized home has a 1,250 gal. tank, and apparently such a tank can hold 1500 gallons, because they charged me $150 more for 500 extra gallons pumped. So all in all, I paid $675 when I expected to pay $425. A bit of a sticker shock. Would I recommend them? Maybe, but just know that they under-quote you. I paid over 50% more than I expected. You WILL have to add the $100 digging fee, and unless you're living in a 1 bedroom trailer, your tank will be more than the $425 standard fee for "up to 1,000 gallons". I'm not going to be ridiculous and give them 1 star or some nonsense. They get 3 stars. They did a good job on the pumping. But I honestly think the owner(s) have a lot to learn about business, customer service, and human psychology. Who likes to pay more than they expected? If you need more than $425 for a pumping, just raise your price. But don't play games. $100 for a bit of digging is ridiculous. Don't hold out hope a person can escape that massive charge, if you want that $100 every time you come out. Just be up-front about how much you want for your service.

I had them install two system for two residences. One operates OK, with some failures. The other…read moreis a disaster. Spray pump failed after one year. Aerator needed total replacement after 2 years. The compressor was mounted atop a makeshift support of two PVC pipes. And the entire system was placed so that it was about 6-8 in below the surrounding grade so rainwater pours in each time it rains. Then I had an issue with clogging and had to have a contractor dig up the line. The main connection line to the first tank of the septic system had an elbow in it that placed it approx 1ft BELOW the tank fill hole. So a bunch of sewage always collected in the pipe before creating enough pressure to flow uphill to the tank. A wonder it ever worked. Plus one PVC fitting near the tank had never been glued, and the cleanout fitting also had never been glued, only pressed together. I wondered why the grass around this end of the system was always so green. I would NEVER use them again nor recommend them to anyone.

I cannot say enough about Justin owner of Clear Choice Septic Services. Customer savvy, professional, never late and most importantly extremely knowledgeable. Last year my contracted septic service provider was non responsive and left me stranded with a houseful of guests over a weekend, and if you own a septic system you can appreciate the position. I googled septic services and found Clear Choice Septic Services and read reviews. Justin was able quickly service the septic and my guests were none the wiser. I continued to have issues with the contracted supplier and this year I signed my new septic contract with Clear Choice Septic Services. as things would happen with all the rain and poor service from the previous supplier, had to call Justin prior to my scheduled check up. He came cleaned all the filters and all was well again. In this day and age of inferior customer service, Clear Choice Septic Services exceeds expectations. Over the years I have had serious problems finding reliable septic service. Not anymore!! Justin of Clear Choice Septic Service, bailed me out of bad problem with my Aerobic Septic System. He replaced my entire control unit and rewired the system and after 1 year I have had no problems whatsoever. My system had been wired incorrectly since day 1 and it was causing alarms to trigger for no reason. On one called he brought his son and I got to see the personal side of Justin. Appears he is as good a Dad as he is with maintaining/installing septic systems. I feel like he is not only our septic maintainer but also a friend. The last time Joseph is who came out and I was surprised at how nice he was. Well today I had Wyatt come out. They are a top notch, and extremely honest company.
