I had used them before to repair a crack but knew this one would require a replacement. Jason gave me a quote for after market glass and also OEM. Because my BMW has heads up display and other safety features through the windshield he explained why I wanted OEM glass. Afterwards I did my own research and determined he was spot on. No pressure from Jason. He just let me know they were there when I was ready. Then I left town and it was an entire month before I got back to fixing my windshield. H&A is an approved provider through my insurance so the process was so easy. Within 30 minutes, Jason had the authorization from my insurance company for the replacement and calibration needed. Horatio called me and let me know he was on the way. He and Wilmer got right to work. In less than two hours they had my windshield replaced, did the calibration and drove it to make sure everything was functioning properly. They even were kind enough to move the sticker I need to get in our work parking lot from my old windshield to my new one. Horatio and Wilmer were both professional and efficient. He was very communicative and made an appointment with his quote fairly quickly. The price for the window was fair, and paying him was quick because he had options on how to receive payment. Communication was transparent, and I understood what I was getting with my service. Once he replaced my window, he showed me the old one and showed how it broke. Chris is nice and quick with his work but also very efficient and thorough. If you are in Hapeville, he doesn't live too far so he can do a mobile service. Hopefully I won't have to call on him again because that would mean more windows on my car broke, but I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs this type of service. I casually mentioned I was getting my windshield fixed tomorrow in Lilburn at Safelite and it was going to be around $1,000 (insurance wouldn't cover it). My appointment was at 1:00, (3 hours minimum) and they couldn't promise it would be $1k, might be more, depending on what they ended up having to do. Stephen said, MOM...they are the most expensive place! Did you call around for estimates?" Well, I had just asked a few people and they all said Safelite. If you know me, you will have a hard time believing I didn't call around. I squeeze a dime until it screams - but this time I didn't. I googled and found a company in Grayson that had all 5 stars with many reviewers. I called and spoke to Jonathan (who I found out later was the owner). He quoted less than half the price Safelite quoted AND THEY WOULD COME TO MY HOUSE!!! OK, now I'm listening. I want you to know he was at my house a couple of hours later, installed the windshield, calibrated it (Toyota's have to be calibrated with a windshield change), cleaned my dashboard and sat with me to explain everything he did. This is a family-owned business. Nicest man you will ever meet. I am so thankful for him and all the events that led up to this! Honest, amazing work and fun to talk to! But, due to a medical situation with a family member, they had to close early (ah, the bain of all small independent companies). But, something I can totally relate to. So, I went there this morning to pick it up. And, I must say, they did an excellent job. They were able to save the 2 convex mirrors, and the backboard. The main octagon-rectangle mirror had to be replaced. So, from the original assembly, he removed the convex mirrors; he removed, cut and replaced with a thicker main mirror; and he reassembled it to original specification. And, all for $30.00! Great work, at a awesome price! While I probably won't need their services again, they will be my first choice for any mirror, or glass work that I should need.
