Window tint, back up camera and Stereo install. All three looked good until it quickly didn't . After a closer look and time the backup camera was lightly zip tied from the rear left to hang beneath the truck. The power cable connection to the battery pulled apart by itself. The sub was mounted with screws only into the carpet. Less then impressed really. read more

I'm from Huntington Beach and planned on fishing for a couple of weeks up in and around the Redding area. On my way up my Alpine radio went dead. I called around Redding to various car audio places and was told they could not help with my issue. I called Clear Impressions and was told if I could come in right away they would take a look. I got there they had me sign an estimate and I went across the street to Rustic Table had a great Teriyaki Rice bowl and glass of beer (should probably review them as well) When I got back they had to tear my dash apart to find the problem. I waited about another 45 minutes and was ready to be back on the road with a radio working. The price they charged was more than fair. If I live in Redding they would be the only place I would go for Audio on my van. If they treat an out of towner like this I'm sure they treat the locals even better. read more

I got our windows tinted on our car a few years ago. The service and installation was great. However in the last year or so we noticed the tint begining to degrade making it difficult to see out of the windows. No bubbling or fading which indicates a manufacturer issue with the tint. We called to see what there warranty coverage was. I was told thier work was covered but not the materials and I would have to go through the manufacturer of the tint to get reimbursed. To top it off they said I would have to pay to remove the old tint and then I would possibly have to pay for the labor of installing the new tint. They were not very accomodating in trying to resolve my problem. I would recommend if you get your vehicle tinted to take it somewhere else that not only warranties there workman ship but also their materials, and that also has better "customer service". P.S. Contrary to the owners response of my review that is not what I was informed of when talking to thier staff, otherwise why wouldn't I have them do the warranty work? I guess I felt like spending more of my hard earned money for the fun of it? read more

Paid $500 to have ceramic window tint installed on our 2014 subaru sti. When I picked my car up I was told there were bubbles in the tint that would go away and to wait several says before rolling down my windows. I waited five days. Well the numerous small bubbles not only did not go away, but they got bigger. When I finally rolled down the windows I was upset to see a 1/8 inch gap across the window top and a huge gap of over 1/4 inch in the corners not tinted. When we brought the car back, the manager told us the bubbles were mostly acceptable as our car was not new. He said it was dirt that got sucked up out of the window crevices and fibers from our headliner. The gaps he said was just because it was a subaru and they are all done that way. When we asked about them cleaning the windows and crevices he told us they are not going to spend 8 hours cleaning windows and crevices. We had detailed the interior completely before bringing him the car. In the end he told us they could fix it but there were still going to be bubbles because its an old car. We told him that if he could not do it without telling us there was going to be bubbles then we wanted it taken off and our money back. He instantly agreed to that . So a week and a half later we were scheduled to drop our car off again to have the tint removed. In the interim we took it elsewhere and they said the bubbles in the middle of the windows was indeed dirt but the rest seemed to be from fingers on the glass and/or film during installation, not imaginary dirt from supposedly dirty window crevices on all 7 windows leaving that many bubbles. These guys did a great job. We came to the shop on Saturday and looking for a new stereo with a back up camera. We bought one, It was a little more expensive than we originally wanted to spend but had an appointment on Monday for install. We dropped off the vehicle at 10am and it was done by 3pm. They were helpful and was able to answer the questions we had. They showed me how to use it and made sure I didn't have any questions before I left. THESE GUYS SUCK!!!!. I went there with a friend to get a sub and amp. They had the advertised special, but tried to sell something else... No big deal there. They said it would be done in 2 hours.... 4 hours later and 2 trips it's now done. Install quality was the worst, I mean really bad. I'll end up having another shop redo it. So much for professional installers. They didn't install the DVD player, but still managed to mess it up. When they got done installing the amp the SAT radio and Ipod connection wouldn't work. Trip number 2 to fix that. The guy just sat there at the computer surfing the internet and offered no help. My advice... Pay $20 more and go to a good, professional, courteous business that still understands customer service. These guys SUCK. read more

I had my windows tinted at clear impressions a few years ago and the guy working the front was short and not very friendly. I had a few questions regarding the uv protection and he looked at me strange and didnt answer. I had to call them to find out my car was ready because they didn't let me know. When I got home I noticed small burn marks all the way across the back interior ceiling material. There was some rippling in the tint as well. When I took my car back they said there is no way they did that and had someone been smoking in the back seat. I was so pissed. I was 9 months pregnant and take really good care of my car. I am a non smoker and why would anyone put a cigarette out on the roof over and over??? I would never go back not worth it. It was around $350. read more
