I was given Cabin 1...right on the lake...this Cabin has the fire pit and the dock onto the lake. Cabin 1 has 2 nicely furnished bedrooms, dining room, living room with a large flatscreen TV, a full kitchen with a gas stove/oven and refrigerator, and a bathroom. I stayed all week, my cabin was warm and comfortable. I enjoyed myself. I most certainly will come back...perhaps during the spring or summer, and enjoy swimming and fishing on the lake.

Ours had 2 bedrooms (queen bed in one and a full/twin bunk) in the other. The living area had a super comfy futon that you could pull out to sleep two more. A stocked kitchen and a nice bathroom with a shower that even my 6'6" husband could fit in. The outside had a great picnic area with chairs, grill and picnic table and we also had a clothes line. Each cabin has their own fire ring with benches. There are currently two docks and we fished off of both of them and caught blue gills, crappies, yellow perch. The fish were biting and that made my 7 and 11 year old boys very happy! The resort has a paddle boat and 2 kayaks and our cabin had 4 life jackets waiting for us. It was perfect. The lake is quiet (we were there during the week) and it got a bit busier over starting on friday but still, we were able to kayak in peace with out fear of being run over. We are already planning our vacation next year! The kids loved it and it was the perfect vacation for our family!

Always was fine. Average bar. We liked it because it was on the water. This last time we stopped... we sat on the outside patio. We had our dog with and asked if he could sit on the patio. The female bartender said "of course". There was another couple and a family sitting outside who also had a dog. Our dog was laying next to me quietly and is extremely well behaved. Barely lifts his head. One of the workers, a 30-40 yr old man with dark hair, asked the other bartender "do you think I can make this bottle cap hit that dog"? I was sitting slightly turned from him and ignored him. I did not think he would actually do it. Well, he did. He began flicking bottle caps at my dog who was laying peacefully! After the third one I turned around and said "excuse me? What are you doing?" He said "I wasn't trying to hit him don't worry I'd never do that" and quick ran inside like scared sheep. Didn't show his face after that. I could not believe what had happened. I think this bar is fine and everyone who works there is nice BESIDES THAT GUY. What the he11 is wrong with him? How rude can you be ? Who does that ? What a weirdo.

Needed to mail in deposit. *Not very kid friendly; tiny playground near the office *Cannot bring in your own firewood, even if bought locally. *Large "No firearms allowed" sign as you drive in. The pro in the shop was one of the worst people ever. I can't believe any one in the PGA would let this guy TONY talk to any customers. The course was not in good shape. The bar was closed and no snacks or even a coke or water was available. If they did a complete over hall with staff it might get a 2 star. I will not be coming back here anytime. To many other places to play where the staff appreciates the guest.

Balls off line will be lost in the woods in a lot of cases, but there are generous landing areas. Great place. Worst part of the day was the bar wasn't open when we finished at 11:15 so no after golf cocktails lol. Get out and play it.... you won't be sorry.

The woman at the counter was not all that friendly..it just might be her nature. The grass was mediocre. They put styrofoam in the flag holes and if the last guy didnt put them in properly..you might miss out your hole in one. The course manager was quite friendly.
