We booked the trip on Sunday and had to cancel on Tuesday. We were out the $90. It would've cost for the one night stay as their policy is no cancellation refunds. If they advertise this on their website, it is in the fine print however, it should be policy that if your trip is canceled due to circumstances beyond your control, you should be refunded. This is equivalent to stealing.

It's located on Patricia Lake, which is a non-motorized, small, beautiful lake. They rent out small boats if you don't have your own! We love coming here with the pup and they're very welcoming to her. They have a small dog park and dog beach. The sites are well kept and clean. The bathrooms are cleaned often and no complaints there. We will continue to use this as our main campground!

With the new ownership of this campground, they appear to be going above and beyond to be sure their campground is updated. We chose this campground in 2015 and are so pleased that we did. The host is easy to work with but assures that all the campers are treated well and the owner continues to improve the campground. We love having the entire Chain O'Lakes at our disposal. The golf course is just down the road, so when we have guests they an golf also. Several of their docks are new and improved. Also, having the Tiki Bar so close offers food and a fun place to hang out if you just need something different. It was absolutely the right choice for us.

I was given Cabin 1...right on the lake...this Cabin has the fire pit and the dock onto the lake. Cabin 1 has 2 nicely furnished bedrooms, dining room, living room with a large flatscreen TV, a full kitchen with a gas stove/oven and refrigerator, and a bathroom. I stayed all week, my cabin was warm and comfortable. I enjoyed myself. I most certainly will come back...perhaps during the spring or summer, and enjoy swimming and fishing on the lake.

Also, it was extremely clean clean. The fishing was very good with a variety of fish(Crappie, walleye, perch, smallmouth and a 40" musky). I would recommend this house for your next fishing or snowmobile trip. The owner, Ron, was nice and friendly person. We will be back.

First off..what a great weekend! My wife,dog (and baby to be) and another couple of married friends…read more(and their 2 year old) all headed up to Ron's Hideway for the extended weekend and it was fantastic. First off a fully furnished house with dish, dvd player, and all the other great amenities and placed right on the water with you're own private dock is a rare find (not that we used much more than the coffee maker due to all the fishing). Personally I spent much of the weekend kayak fishing and boat fishing with my buddy, and the ladies enjoyed the peace and solitude that water front property in the north woods of WI affords. Suffices to say we are very happy with the weekend, especially compared to more than double the rates we have paid in the past for a run down cabin much more removed from the water. Lastly..taking a boat across the lake to a bar/restaurant to enjoy a few WI brews and deliver a great pizza back to the house at 11pm is an experience I'll not forget. All in all - great experience, and we'll be back. Highly recommended.

Stayed in the Ist floor condos. All of the bedrooms are in the back as the front of the unit has…read morelake views. The problem you will find in the summer is the cars that park at night. The headlights shine right into the room even with dark out drapes. Poor design, the main building for pool, is way to far away. No wonder the owners try to rent them.

An update to my first posting. Holiday weekend and close of…read moresummer. Got that. Lots of family activities which are nice. We are quite taken back on how camping has changed over the years. MUCH more crowded MUCH closer to neighbors MUCH more expensive MUCH to many large trees with canopies that shade the sites AND provide ample amounts of tree sap on everything. WAY to many people making way to much noise without regard for neighbors. WAY to many people on a site. Rarely did anyone express a "hello" or any common civility. Camping sure isn't what it used to be..!
