There is an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a kids play area, a beach, and many trails. We stayed in the lodge. The room was large. We were picking up my son from camp and I though we would have to share a room, but it was large enough that we ran out and bought a cheap air mattress so he could have his own bed. There are cabins on the property, a supper club, and a coffee bar, but we did not try any of those. The resort was quite busy. There were groups of all ages. While our room was large, the bathroom was very dated and in need of a renovation. There was a binder highlighting aspects of the lodge, but some of the pages had mold growing on them. I thought there was daily room cleaning, but our room was never touched. Perhaps I missed something. Definitely a place to check out if you are looking for lodging in the area.

Also, it was extremely clean clean. The fishing was very good with a variety of fish(Crappie, walleye, perch, smallmouth and a 40" musky). I would recommend this house for your next fishing or snowmobile trip. The owner, Ron, was nice and friendly person. We will be back.

First off a fully furnished house with dish, dvd player, and all the other great amenities and placed right on the water with you're own private dock is a rare find (not that we used much more than the coffee maker due to all the fishing). Personally I spent much of the weekend kayak fishing and boat fishing with my buddy, and the ladies enjoyed the peace and solitude that water front property in the north woods of WI affords. Suffices to say we are very happy with the weekend, especially compared to more than double the rates we have paid in the past for a run down cabin much more removed from the water. Lastly..taking a boat across the lake to a bar/restaurant to enjoy a few WI brews and deliver a great pizza back to the house at 11pm is an experience I'll not forget. All in all - great experience, and we'll be back. Highly recommended.

What defines the salad bar as great are the homemade salads, we tried tuna/pasta/pea salad, three bean salad and cauliflower /broccoli /carrot salad which were all great. We were there on a Friday night and had the fried haddock which is one of the better fish frys I've had in WI. It comes with the salad bar/potato & traditional rye bread. We had the homemade strawberry and the blueberry pies that were devine and I'm told that people put their pie slices on order when they make their reservations. We booked the trip on Sunday and had to cancel on Tuesday. We were out the $90. It would've cost for the one night stay as their policy is no cancellation refunds. If they advertise this on their website, it is in the fine print however, it should be policy that if your trip is canceled due to circumstances beyond your control, you should be refunded. This is equivalent to stealing.

The headlights shine right into the room even with dark out drapes. Poor design, the main building for pool, is way to far away. No wonder the owners try to rent them.

Most of the rooms have a small balcony that in the summer would be perfect for cocktails overlooking the beautiful tree line lake in your backyard. In the winter time, there's a whirlpool tub in the bedroom to look out over the snow, covered trees and beautiful winter wonderland while you soak the stress away. Because it's condos almost all the rooms have a small full kitchen, though it's not well stocked. Small conveniences like a vase for flowers would be helpful.

Crispy seriously awesome beer batter, with lots of fries and great rolls. The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful, you can sit outside, we happened to have a group of 20 and were served quickly. While you wait for your food you can play cornhole or volleyball. Also seems pretty easy to dock your boat right there and grab a meal.
