This pool service company is run by Antonio and his son. They and their crew are absolutely fantastic. We had a new pool built this winter and Antonio did both the initial pool startup and ongoing weekly care. Their price was by far the most reasonable for startup. I moved to the area a couple months ago and didn't know anyone. My pool started having issues with the pump and was in need of other repairs. After calling other companies for estimates I decided to give clear pool service a chance to support local businesses. They came to my house and explained the problems and my options. Antonio and his worker were very friendly and knowledgeable. They got the parts and fixed everything within a few days. WARNING: CHEATERS / SCAMMERS -- AVOID these guys like the plague!!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I was cheated and defrauded by them (Antonio and younger adult male he said was his son). I would give them negative stars if I could. Due to my horrible experience with these guys, I'm thinking the favorable reviews they got must be fakes. Antonio (Clear Pool Service) agreed to clear my green pool for $155 and also to start FULL Monthly Service of my pool after the pool water clears for $120 per month (with first month free). After 2 weeks, my pool was better, but still not clear. I cleaned my filter every week, but it still wasn't clearing. I don't think he really knew what chemicals to put in. The water never cleared fully. WAIT...IT GETS WORSE... After 3 weeks, he demands me to pay him. I told him that first, the pool still isn't clear and reminded him the first month is supposed to be free. I told him that he has only done one week of the first month of the Full Monthly Service. He said that instead of the first month free, what he actually does is provide the SECOND month free. He said he really needed to be paid NOW and since I was away on business travel I didn't want him to pester my wife, so I had her write a check for $275 and leave it under the front door mat as he demanded. Well, that day was supposed to be the second week of regular service (Wednesdays). They came and picked up the check but did not even go to the backyard and did not perform any service on my pool. When I came home a week later, my pool was entirely green again. They have not serviced my pool at all for last couple of weeks. I have surveillance cameras all around my house, including 2 aimed right at the pool area and I verified they never showed up. I told them that they had not serviced my pool in the last couple of weeks and they just ignored my calls and text messages. They caused my pool to become entirely green again. I've been demanding that they refund my money. They ignored me for a couple of weeks.--not answering my calls or my texts. They responded today blaming me for not cleaning my filters, which is total BULL. I cleaned the filters every week and have surveillance video and pictures to prove it. Even if it were true, they have no excuse for taking my money for a month of full regular service that was never provided. Keep in mind too that these guys just stopped coming without ever giving any kind of notice or indication that they would service my pool any further. Who does that?!?! I see that there is another review that was CHEATED by these guys too. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!! I give this business no stars. Antonio and his "contact" Roman have cheated us plain and simple. Initially we contacted another pool company(Bay area pool service) and 3 guys came to evaluate our pool and they never got back to us. Next day very randomly we found a card from clear pool service at our doorstep (offer for one month free service) and we decided give Antonio a try since he seemed to have good yelp reviews. We had some leaks in our solar panel so Antonio said he knows a "guy" who can fix it and will charge 100$. He also recommended we should replace our sweep motor which just had a minor leak that could be easily fixed and said he can get a motor and install for 350$. But we said we will get the motor so he said his "guy" will install it for 120$. So Antonio's "guy" - Roman came in and guess what Roman was one of the guys who had come in as part of the Bay area pool service visit. And it was all very clear that these guys were working in cohorts. Although suspicious we decided to give them a try. Roman supposedly fixed the motor and the leaks but 2 weeks later there is huge leak from the new motor and the panels. A week ago Antonio suddenly started saying there is a leak in out pool and he knows a guys who can detect leaks. Mind you, we just moved in a month ago into this home and the pool inspection had not noted any of this. So we have to conclude that Antonio is just trying to cheat us. read more

We used to have a pool service company that does hundreds of pools in the Bay Area. They were ok with their weekly maintenance until our pump went out while we were on vacation and algae grew everywhere. The owner had his (inexperienced) worker clean up the algae but were very reluctant to root-cause the problem and prevent it from happening again. As a result the algae kept coming back and all the suggestions the owner had was for me to run the pump longer... we then changed to another service company which did an okay job at the beginning but then was inconsistent in showing up, so algae started to come back again. We were so thankful to have found Antonio. He was the one who said that we must replace the filters that had all the algae there and was a source of recurring algae, among other measure he took. The algae was gone and cured since he dealt with it. And since then we had given our regular pool service job to him. It's been two years and they have been consistent and punctual in their service. Antonio is experienced and also very practical in offering advice on my equipment replacement, so i get the job done but don't pay through the roof. Their price is very reasonable. In all, I highly recommend this company. read more
