I used the feature in Yelp to have multiple businesses bid on my job of cleaning the windows to my house.  Despite his lack of reviews, I decided to go with Brandon Smith of Clear Shine Window Cleaning; Brandon presented professionally and friendly through your communications.  Although he was not the cheapest bid I received, I decided to give him my business in my support of small, local businesses and veterans---I know firsthand how difficult transitioning back into civilian life can be. Brandon came over at the agreed upon time and on his recommendation, I added on the service of power washing specific areas of the exterior of the house.  I paid him the agreed upon amount and he left.  That night, as I was closing up the house, I realized one of the windows had been cracked.  I texted Brandon and he agreed to come out the next day.  The next day, he came over to inspect the window and took responsibility for what had happened.  He said he would consult with his insurance on how best to proceed and get back to me.  That week, he returned to take measurements of the window.  This was in early May 2020. By early June 2020, he said a professional window company was coming to install a new window only they didn't---they only took measurements.  I gave it a few more weeks and followed up multiple times with Brandon beginning in July 2020; all my attempts to contact him were ignored.  At a loss, I involved the owner of the house who was able to contact Brandon who then blamed the cracked window on my son. I am deeply appalled by the moral and ethics demonstrated by this company, specifically Brandon.  He even went so far as to come into my home, sit at my kitchen table for a chat while I homeschooled my two young children.  Given his blatant lack of character, I count myself and my kids fortunate that a broken window was the only damage he incited that day.  I held off writing this review in hopes that Brandon would resolve this issue but he has not. read more

I hired Brandon to clean my windows in his description. He says he cleans the windows inside and out, including the screens, the tracks and the frame he cleaned the windows and partially clean the screens, but he never touch the tracks. My track still have dirt disgusting bugs and I'm not happy, and he will not call us back to take care of it. I would not recommend this company for Window Cleaning and I'm a contractor myself. read more

Brandon was referred to me by a friend. I agreed with his quote of $300 for 2.5h to 3h of single person work to clean "screens, track and casings". I have total 20 glass windows/ doors. To be clear, I know the price was high, I also know my window tracks were filthy, thats why I agreed with the quote. My 2 stars was for his responsiveness (before the job), he was punctual, showed up in time, and he spent his time to explain to me about my windows tint and the "oxidization", which I didnt completely agree with because even tho he said it couldn't be cleaned, the algae (due to recent rains) did come off in front of my eyes as he ran his cloth along the track and it was much cleaner. The lack of the other 3 stars was because of the level of cleanliness (you can judge yourself with the photos of window tracks, some was not cleaned at all), because he didnt move my furnitures back after he moved them out to clean, and because he ignored me when i texted him saying i was not happy with the job and asked him to either come back to clean or refund a part of the $300 I paid. With the agreed price, I expected much more than this, at least no dead bugs, no dried leaves and no green algae. Now if you find his job quality is fine, its up to you. But to a stay at home mom like me, who doesnt sit on money, spent money on something I would normally choose to do on my own then had to do it by myself again while already swamped in housework and more prepping the house for some special guests (thus the purchase of service), this was beyond frustration. I dont mean to harm anyone's business, but I find being ignored to be very disrespectful and unfair. I hope nobody has to deal with frustration with this service like me. read more
