Tobi had the audacity to offer to "withhold 20% of the fees and refund the rest if you want." The math was definitely not mathing. I ended up getting a full refund so that was nice. What could have easily been 1 hour appointment, turned into 2 hours as I politely and shortly responded to the small talk. What I found most unprofessional was she expressively kept commenting on my income. The thing that set me over the edge was that she never went over how much my preparation fees would cost BEFOREHAND and it ended costing DOUBLE what I normally pay for tax preparation. And I didn't think to ask, given that my fees typically and consistently cost around $200 and my paperwork has not changed much from last year. I called yesterday to see if this could be corrected and they said a supervisor would all me back. I have yet to hear from the supervisor. Starting to doubt that she is informed her supervisor that I wanted to speak with him/her.
