I had the opportunity to drive in heavy rain this week on Highway 2. Passing semi's always gave me pause, even in the SUV. With the coating the water ran off the windshield faster than the wipers moved. Not once did I have to speed up the wipers to see. I call that a huge improvement to driving experience when the weather is inclement. I am actually looking forward to seeing how it performs in the 4th season (which I will not mention for risk of calling the spirits of frozen things). You have not proactively contacted me once, I feel like I'm babysitting you. It has been 6 months since the alternator was replaced, this is not a reasonable timeline to have a warranty fulfilled. If you bought a faulty part from a shady company that would not fulfill the warrant and sold it me to as a new part with full warranty that is not my fault. At this point you should be refunding me the cost and keeping the warranty whenever you get to it.
