Our experience with All Weather At Home has been extremely frustrating. We ordered a window through a Kelowna company on April 3, which in turn ordered it from All Weather At Home. On installation day, the door had a major problem -- it required extreme effort to open and close. We didn't want it installed, but we were assured by All Weather that it could be fixed with adjustments. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed the installer and made him tear off all the moulding and move the door half an inch. This did not solve the issue. We were then told the window had to be paid for in full before any warranty work would begin. We paid, with hesitation, believing it was our only option. Over the next several months, they returned multiple times -- often arriving without the proper parts or tools, and even forgetting which parts they had already replaced. Now, five months later (in September), the door is still not fixed or properly finished. Once All Weather realized they could not fix it, they dismissed the problem and told us it was "good enough," even though the door is still difficult to open and close and is missing weather stripping. As an elderly couple, this ordeal has been exhausting and stressful. After months of delays, excuses, and failed fixes, we cannot recommend All Weather At Home to anyone." read more

We had them quote replacement of three windows. We were told by our estimator that they would keep the old trim on 2 of the windows ok fine. The windows were supposed to be 32 inches wide. We proceeded with the order come install day the windows are wider than we agreed upon and the installers say they can't keep our old trim and they didn't want to install any trim at all. We now have exposed framing. Our salesperson blew us off and so has some woman named Samantha. Due to their actions I had to drop more money on custom blinds and now I need to hire some to fix the mess they left behind. It has been over a month and they have not returned our calls and emails. I will be exploring my legal options. So my $4500 windows are costing me way more due to new custome blinds and repair/restoration work required. read more

In 2007, we had All Weather Windows (the name back then) replace all of the windows in our house.. triple pane, vinyl. I can not complain about the service then, start to finish all was great. In around 2019, I noticed some of the windows getting foggy, the seals had failed I was told. I arranged for someone to come out and was told that only the glass needed replacing, not the whole window. We placed the order.. and at the same time decided to get a new front door also. This order took almost a year to be complete, Covid to be blamed at that time. Had the install completed, and there was a adjustment needed for the front door, which never happened. Last winter 2024, I noticed a few other windows going foggy. So, decided to get an order started to get it fixed. I have never had as much of a hassle as this all was. After having 3 seperate install appts canceled over a span of 4 months, I demanded my money refunded.(which I will mention the cost of the labour was going to be more than the actual glass that they were putting in my 3 windows. Needless to say, I will never use All weather at Home again. And advice to anyone who cares to read all of this.. BUYER BEWARE!! read more

Renovating my home in stages and just received the second order of windows. I've been very happy. For both the first and second installation, the install was efficient, they cleaned up well afterwards, and no problems with any of the windows. First installer was Wade, if you get him you're lucky. I had another window about a year old from another company and it was problematic (hence the change over to All Weather). Wade fixed it, no charge - amazing customer service and a great guy. we had our basement windows replaced around 2012 or 2013 I think. I was just reminded as I tried to use them the other day how much I loathe this company. install was ok I suppose, but the windows mostly all have leaks, the hardware is mediocre, but the thing that I just cannot understand is the screens. the installer would have had to punch them on from outside with a helper, or maybe they got installed at the factor, but there is no way to take them on and off without help, or tools, and/or significant force, and more than likely breakage. the one at the rear of the house I bent the frame trying to squeeze it into position. unfathomable how they can make such garbage. I tried to address these issues with the rep during the year after they were installed, and was blown off. read more

They installed my windows beginning of October 2021. First, the sales men I dealt with was very professional and explained how they would make the windows fit nicer than the existing ones. Day of delivery the guys were all right on time. Same thing for the 2 days of install. The 3 workers were professional and kept my place clean. I had a friend use All Weather Windows and she had a great experience. I had gotten 3 quotes and All Weather ended up being the cheapest of the other 2 and I would have chosen then anyhow due to the professional nature of the salesmen. The other two business didn't provide me with any details as to how the windows I choose would work with the current placement. I would highly recommend this business and they are local!!! read more

I would have preferred a zero star rating. I have been dealing with AWW Renovations for over a year now. I had my windows insalled in 2018/2019. I had replaced all my windows in 2 phases. If it wasnt for the excellent sales person, I would never had proceeded with them. The 1st phase of windows, have had seals break in them. Why? How? No clue. The 2nd phase, knock on wood, has had no problems. The most recent issues, have been a nightmare to recitify. I submitted an online request in May 2023, I received an email shortly after to confirm that I need to pay for the labor of the install. Sure. I then waited until November to follow-up with them. The next day I was called for payment and an appointment was booked for Jan 2024. Installers showed up, they did not have my window nor the crew to install it. He joked because of the location of my window, I should sell the house. He said his manager was meeting him to discuss the replacement. They also noticed another window had a seal that had broke and they were putting a RUSH on this now. Ok, great. An appointment was scheduled a month later, cancelled, rescheduled a month later, cancelled, resc... you get it. Jan, Feb, March, then well we will let you know. During this time, I was told the following: manufacturing issues, none of the installers want to install it due to the location of the window; one of the crew is sick so they cant come 5 days from now... I requested a refund back to my credit card which took from March until May to receive because the manager was not in the office and that was because I said I was going to contact BBB about this. The day has arrived, the crew shows up, they will not work until I put my dogs away. They then stood outside my house referring to my "f**king" dogs within the recording of my Ring camera. Once they started working, they slid my tree across my vinyl tiles leaving scratches in my floor. The last insult to injury is leaving my window with some sort of residue on it near the top. The reason I mention this, is because it is about 10 ft out of cleaning reach. I emailed the company right after this on Saturday but have not heard any response yet. I can't say enough good things about the windows and doors that were just installed in my 1958 bungalow. From the sales rep. Mike, to the delivery guys and especially the installation crew, Ernie, Robert and Kathy. The fit, finish and speed of installation was amazing! Very nice people! Each evening my home was left clean and uncluttered. The absolute worst horrible doors and windows you would ever expect. PLEASE DO NOT USE ALL WEATHER WINDOWS......Just am absolute disappointment from day one. The products were not any cheaper than others, in fact they were more expensive. The product arrived outside my home with no protective coverings or no packaging for traceability. After looking at the windows and doors up close I could visually let they be out of square. I went to get a carpenters square and sure enough there were all out between 10 to 17 degree (which is alot). I tried calling them the day of the delivery (no answer), the day after delivery (still no answer). Time is money, good thing about this story is my husband is a partner in a major litigation law firm.......NO Question we will be suing this disfuctional complany! read more

I have cold air, snow blowing in and ice buildup. I was told my windows had not failed. I was told that my home has high humidity which could lead to the ice buildup. I asked how they determined that and I was told that Andy (the inspector) based his findings on years of experience. I actually used a tool called a hydrometer (which measures the moisture in the air) to measure the humidity in my home and discovered that I am on the low end of average humidity. I mentioned that I have a ceiling fan, kitchen and bathroom fans for airflow and it was never satisfactorily explained how I had poor airflow. I have had 3 independent contractors come and inspect my windows and they all said that the windows needed to be replaced, but this company states my windows are in good condition. My impression is that this company will say anything to absolve themselves of responsibility. I wish I had the ability to post pictures of my windows that they say are in good condition. The ice builds up all the way around the outside and snow actually blows in where the lock is. read more

Hi Folks, I wanted to share my experience with All Weather Windows as it has been so frustrating with their unwillingness to help us with a warranty claim. And it has for the most part gone completely unnoticed by the company. They are putting it all back on us and now after spending more than $44,000. they are wanting us to dish out another large lump sum to have part of our door replaced. The door had arrived broken but they are blaming us and saying that we had not reported the concern within a few days. Therefore the it is our responsibility,. As you are all probably aware. It takes a professional at least 2-3 days to install windows and doors correctly into a fully brand new home. I would stay clear of this brand and to go with a company that lives by their warranty program and their desire to build strong customer relationships. This would probably cost them next to nothing to have repaired. It is very sad to write this and I have never posted anything online before but felt that a consumer be ware was in order and would hate for anyone to have to go through this. Be careful out there as this has been the worse experience of our lives. read more

The main thing I will say about AWW is that they are EXTREMELY poor after sale communicators. We went with AWW as one if the best rated windows in Canada, and although they have just been installed, that quality seems to be holding true. I see other reviewers have had post install issues, so we'll have to wait and see. As suggested, the sales end was excellent and we felt very comfortable with the choice we made. I will also be quick to say that the installer (Josh of Platinum Construction) also did a great job and we had absolutely no complaints there. Indeed, if only those 2 aspects were being reviewed, i'd have given a 4 or 5 score. As it is, they are the reason I still gave a 2 instead of 1. Where AWW totally fails and truly deserves a score of 1 (0 if it were an option) is in project coordination. When we ordered the windows, we were warned there would be a good delay in construction as like so many other areas, there was high demand but slow productivity due to post covid issues. We were OK with that as we were assured with our mid April order, the install would be late July, early August. So we waited, and waited, and waited. Finally having heard nothing by Aug, we reached out to AWW for an update. This resulted in a booking of install for mid August. When the day arrived, we were advised by the installer the 2 doors we ordered were on back order and no idea when they would be ready. Then during install, it was discovered that one of the basement windows was not built to proper measurements, so with the old one torn out, a piece of plywood had to be put in the opening till a new window could be made. Then we noted a hole in the screen of one of the kitchen windows. The installer said that would be replaced but would that would have to be coordinated through AWW. So now we expected to hear back from AWW on how each of these 3 issues would be addressed. A week later, nothing heard so we made an inquiry. From this we were told both the replacement window and door would be ready in about 2 weeks, but nothing about the screen. So we ask again about its status. We were asked to confirm which window the screen was on, which we did. Then nothing more heard. Two more emails asking for updates go unanswered. Two weeks later we come home from a shopping trip to discover our doors had been delivered and were just left at the side of the garage. I contacted AWW very unhappy that $3000 doors were left sitting outside where they could easily be taken. Answer was they tried to call but couldn't reach us on either our home phone or cell so couldn't even leave a message (both were in perfect working order). Now frustrated to the nth degree, I sent an email to the sales rep outlining all the issues above. I asked that, as reconciliation, could the storm doors we bought be installed at no cost. Only answer was AWW could not be held responsible for the delay in delivery of doors as that is 3rd party company accountability. So my recommendation is, if you want doors, skip AWW and go direct to a manufacturer. To make a long story shorter, after doors and windows finally in, we sent 2 more emails about the screen, both unanswered. We also sent 2 emails to their finance as we wanted to finalize payment so we could have a receipt needed to take advantage of the government green energy grant worth $5000. Again, no answers. Finally we went to the office. We paid and were promised a new screen would be delivered...not holding my breath for that. So as you may gather, based on our experience, we definitely would not recommend AWW. Although product and installer are great, this seems to be a company that does not communicate and could care less about its customers. I pray we have no future issues as based on our experience, I'm not optimistic this company will honor its "best in industry" warranty. read more

The guy who measured and then did after-install fix ("Mikhail") is terrible. There is a problem with the after-install fix, and I can't get anyone at All Weather Windows to return phone messages I have left... Waiting... Nov 3 update: Improving my review to 3 star today. After I escalated my problem to a senior manager at AWW, I got a date and a time for the 2nd after-install fix. Today they showed up on time and fixed the exterior trim as it should have been done at the time of original install. The window itself is good, energy efficient, and opens and operates to our expectations. My review would have been higher if the original install had been complete the first time. Two fixes and nearly a year to get them done certainly weighed on our review. read more

I am only leaving a 1 star because I cannot leave 0 starts. Everything was fine until I tried to get a leaking window fixed. I started calling All Weather Windows in November and left various voicemails each week. It seems only reception answers their phone. Finally got a call back on Dec 3, 20. Said the Manager of Installation would come and have a look. Called again On February 9th since I never heard anything back. It was arranged to have the Installation manager come. The surly installation manger finally came and had a look on February 17th. Never apologizing for the delay or his lack of action. He stated the casement needed to be resealed, He said he would set up one of his employees to make it happen. I left that person a voicemail again on February 25, yes, I still couldn't speak to her in person. Finally got really upset on March 1st and was put through the the person directly, FINALLY. She said that she will have a contractor come on, get this March 30th. So my window has been leaking for 5 months through the winter. STAY AWAY FROM ALL WEATHER WINDOWS! read more

Had a new patio door installed on February 3 and it was noted by the technician that the sliding screen door had a bad bend in it and so he made a note for a follow up service call to replace the screen. Told us we would hear back within 5 business days. Nobody did follow up so I followed up in May as I honestly had forgotten about it due to not using the balcony during the winter months. Was told that due to COVID they were very behind and it would be several weeks before they could get to our request. I replied by indicating that this was not a new service request but a follow up from an old job that was not completed and had also been paid in full so could they please expedite the process (assuming a screen door is a quick job, I can install myself even just need the new door!) and was told no, there was a queue and they need to go in order too bad. I phoned their customer service to push back a bit as I felt they were in the wrong since they did not follow up on the first request from February and finally got through to someone else who said they could place us in the queue based on our original install date (February 3). Finally early June I get a call to schedule the install when the door had come in and they tell me they will come June 22 between 9am and noon. Took the day off work and come June 22 nobody shows up. No call. Nothing. Phoned two different numbers I had for them to follow up/reschedule it is now June 24 and I have not heard back from my voice mails or anything. I have been so unimpressed with the service of this company. Will not be using them for any future renovations and have advised family and friends to avoid them as well! Unprofessional! read more

I had a reno done by all weather through Rona. They were fast and efficient. Now 4 yrs later I had a tenant break some part in the windows so I went in during lunch to buy new ones. Unfortunately they were closed so I was a bit upset. But that's my fault. So I went back later and they not only gave me super good help, showed me how to check my windows and make simple adjustments which save me a service call, they also have me free parts for the repair!!! Let's hope these adjustments fix my slider window. read more

Awful experience. Ordered windows and doors for a new build! Windows showed up but two were broken and no doors showed. ( fyi you need to be standing at the site as their workers are not able to unload products by them selves. Called and their response each time is i dont know i will get back to you. One and a half months later still no doors and still one broken window and one window fixed wrong. Now they are saying hmm doors dont look like they were on any of the trucks we have told you they were on and we will have to build them you are now in the queue! Contracted company in 2014 to replace some windows that had leaked & others were were concerned about. 2019, windows started leaking but despite numerous attempts to contact, could not get anyone to call us back. Spring 2020, we finally managed to get someone to call us back & they sent out some guys to look. It appears the caulking had failed & needed replaced. They advised they could not do it as they did not have a color of caulking that would look good with the stucco, but someone would call in a few days to schedule a service all. No call, and three months later, despite numerous calls again to them, cannot get them to call back despite promises by the receptionist. Do not buy from them if you want any warranty work, or service once they've collected your money. read more

I have had nothing but a surreal time with All Weather Windows. In my opinion, they are SO BAD, it's laughable. I ordered 3 windows and a patio door in July 2014. Some time later, I was informed that they would not be able to install until the end of October because "the patio door was an odd size"....uh....no it isn't. When the workers showed up, it turns out All Weather Windows had SUB-CONTRACTED my install to another company I had never heard of...without telling me! I wasn't happy about that, and then THEY FORGOT the screen door for my patio door, and the install guys didn't know what happened to it... I promptly stopped payment on the check I had issued for the remainder of the money I had paid. They ALREADY had my deposit of $2000.00 and the job was not complete.... Almost a week later, I get a phone call stating that they will need to book a service call in DECEMBER (when you NEED a screen door), more than 4 weeks away! Then, I get ANOTHER phone call from the salesman who sold us the window saying they received an NSF check for the remainder of the money. I informed him that I stopped payment on the check, as the job wasn't complete and I would be happy to pay the remainder when they complete the job in December. He said ok. No apology was issued for not completing the job and forgetting my screen door. Then today, I get ANOTHER call from what I assume to be their collections department; he says HE NEEDS AT LEAST $4500 out of $5000 owing. I told him that he can have the full amount when the install is complete in December, as they already have my $2000.00 deposit. At this point, this guy starts THREATENING a LIEN ON MY HOUSE and a COLLECTION AGENCY! Over THEIR SCREWUP! I told him I'd be ready with payment upon completion of the job...in DECEMBER WHEN THEY FINISH THE INSTALL!!!! Also, DO NOT call me again! At no time was I issued an apology or an explanation for their shoddy service. My advice to anyone contemplating All Weather Windows to do their windows, is to FORGET IT. There are plenty of other companies that will send ACTUAL EMPLOYEES of the company to do your install, and complete the job, all WITHOUT threatening a lien on your house and a collection agency. I have NEVER seen anything like this before and I hope I NEVER will again. Avoid these guys at ALL costs, because in MY opinion, they don't care about anything but the bottom line, and care NOTHING about the customer, even faced with their own incompetence! UPDATE: December 8th, 2014. FINALLY got my screen door...because that's when you need a screen door you ordered in JULY...DECEMBER, right? The guys that came this time were from manufacturing, not install. TWO guys to pop a screen door in. It took 5 minutes. I don't think they enjoyed walking through a foot of snow in the backyard to get to my screen door, but they handled it. Handed them a check AFTER THE INSTALL WAS COMPLETE, no problems. I still have my house, I assume lien free, and they have their payment in full. What they DON'T have is a repeat customer. I won't ever use these guys again. I didn't get any explanation or apology for their shoddy service or treatment of me. A LIEN on my house AND a collection agency, for God's sake. Give these clowns a pass. read more

Unfortunately here in Edmonton, you have to go thru a winter to really see how good/bad your doors/windows are. Got windows and a door from All Weather. The salesman made some good suggestions and explained about the process before we had them installed. We had 2 windows cut down to enlarge the opening and the salesman explained how it was easy. The quality of the windows are as good as I paid for. The only real issue I had was that the door they ordered opened the wrong way. They didn't install it, reordered the correct door and I got the new one in 2 days after they received it (about a month later). I didn't pay the remaining balance until all the work was done. I was happy with the contractors. They were polite and answered all my questions. I even asked them to tell me how the studs looked and if they thought there was any concerns I should address while they had the windows out. They didn't try to convince me that work needed to be done when I didn't need to be. I wish I could remember the names of the contractors because I'd have them come do more work for me. Overall, I was happy with them and how they handled my issues. read more

The over all interaction was just time consuming and unproductive. I bought a house, like may people in the city. This house I bought was owned by someone else. This house has windows. I believe that's typical. One window experienced a seal leak and in the winter it looks all foggy. I thought 'hey, it's a seal leak. not very common and there is typically a 25 year warranty on the seal'. I track down the builder, he tells me they are All Weather Windows. I call All Weather Windows. They inform me their seal warranty is for 20 years. No problem my house is only 13 years old. I'm assuming the windows did not exist before the house at this point. I ask them if they have any identifying markers so I could positively ID that my window is an All Weather Window. 'Don't worry sir, we believe you'. Aww, that's nice. First they need a tech to measure the window. It's only $200/hr. Then they'll order the window. This is covered under warranty? Of course sir, we just need your house package. I bought this house from someone else, there is no 'house package'. Well, then they don't have me on file, can't help you. I asked again about a means to positively identify the window as an All Weather Window. No response to that, but an assurance that my window is an All Weather Window. They eventually contact me to tell me the cost of the replacement window. I again remind them that this is a seal leak and covered under warranty. I think ( my opinion only ) they grew fatigued of my request to have a window replaced under warranty as they came back and said: 1. You don't have a house package. 2. The warranty is non transferrable 3. The warranty was only good until 2007 (house was built in 2004) So buyer beware, if you are unlucky to be the 85% or so who buy a house from another person (versus buying new) your warranty is not valid. Doesn't mater anyway since your 20 year seal leak warranty expires after 3 years. I dealt with customer service, as people they were nice. I would recommend avoiding this company at all costs. We had a new home from Quality Homes built in 2013 with an All Weather patio door. It has been replaced twice due to poor quality construction. We thought that the last one (three years ago) was finally okay but early in the spring I noticed discoloured flooring. I found that during the next rainstorm, water was seeping in through two sidelight seals. It is still under warranty so I filled out the online service request as they suggest and I received a confirmation which said I would hear back in a few days. After three weeks I called and was told by a very pleasant woman that they couldn't find it and she gave me an email address to resend. In a few weeks I called again, spoke to the same woman who said that they had received it and she forwarded it to her boss. On June 30 I sent an email asking for an update; no response. Three weeks ago I left a voice mail asking for a call back; no response. Over the last two weeks I have called numerous times but no one answers. My only recourse is my lawyer who I am meeting with in two weeks. read more

We ordered a new bay window in August. They installed it partially in late October. We have had a partially installed window now for two months. The panes need to be taken out and placed in properly and trim needs to be installed No one at All Weather Windows seems to care that we have unsealed windows in -26 weather. read more

Finally yesterday I left a message with the Operations Manager regarding no one from the company calling me back and how I'm trying to give them money by buying their products. Just had my windows and doors replaced by All Weather Windows Renavations. I have to say we were quite apprehensive about a Reno of this size. They made the entire experience exceptional. I had read some bad reviews about this company but also knew they are one of largest ones out their. Their are always people who thrive on posting bad reviews in the hopes of getting some kind of discount so I take them with a grain of salt.
