I have worked with both Pat and Steve and they are both phenomenal. They are detailed, very caring, and they set me up with the best possible options for me. I will continue to go here for a long time and I have already recommended them to family and friends. The prices are good and the staff is really friendly. read more

Audiologist avoided my calls and was unavailable during the trial period. I was forced to return the hearing aids to the receptionist prior to the end of my trial... otherwise I would have been stuck with them not working correctly. Then the audiologist emailed me and said I could have put the receptionist's job on the line because she wasn't "authorized" to accept the return. I am not sure what other options I had? I had even stopped by the office to make sure the audiologist had received my messages and was assured twice by her husband that she did, although he was not very friendly or professional. Her husband stated that "they were running a little short right now" but that "I would be getting some of my money back". Short? Short on what, money? I had paid cash for the hearing aids and although I had returned them (and obtained the receptionist's signature of acknowledgement)... I had NOT yet received my refund. (The O.R.C. gives 2 weeks for a business to refund money for return of hearing aids that were purchased on trial, I was aware of the law and I was fine with it). I was still attempting to contact the audiologist to see if something could be worked out but numerous calls were not returned and the audiologist remained unavailable. It felt like they were trying to get me past the trial expiration date so I would have to keep the hearing aids, thus guaranteeing their sale. The only option I had was to return them and the only person available was the receptionist. What would you have done? (Nowhere in my paperwork, did I find a cancellation provision stating the return "process" or, who was or was not authorized to accept my return). The hearing aids were valued at $8,500 so I was very sensitive to the contract period. I work in a professional environment and, respect the obligations of a contract and therefore I was sure to make my return within the terms of the written agreement. Had proper adjustments been made, I most likely would have kept them. But, my experience went downhill fast toward the end of the trial and after my return. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this business. Note: I did NOT receive my refund within the compliance period of the trial. read more

Three years ago I went through a life changing experience. I lost most of my hearing due to a virus. I had numerous tests through my ENT. All came back clear. Needless to say, I was devastated! After consulting my insurance company I was told hearing aids were not covered under my plan. They advised me to a local hearing aid specialist that offered a reduced price on HAs. I sought out that business and purchased an aid for my better ear. Granted I had nothing to compare it to since this was all so new to me. I've had three years of frustration trying to somewhat function and continue on with my life in a new normal way. After three years, I knew it was time to seek out a new (to me) audiologist. Cleartone Hearing had helped my disabled sister years ago , and my family was always grateful for the wonderful service they provided. I picked up the phone and scheduled an appt for an evaluation. The testing itself was nothing short of amazing! I was treated in a professional way- with compassion and dignity and with assurance I could be helped to hear better. Patricia, the audiologist explained my test in great detail with me and together we decided on a pair of aids to help me. This afternoon, I went in to have my new set of aids programmed for my best hearing needs. Once again, Pat sat down with me, explained everything in great detail to me- programmed my set to my specific needs. I am beyond excited with how this will change my life! I waited in parking lot, called back in 15 minutes and left a message again. Still no show, no answer. I waited until my entire hour appointment was up. I called the number again and left another message. This time I was pretty disgusted by the fact that this is a mental health counselor and I assumed they would take that into consideration before a no show/no call on their part. This was almost two months ago and to this day I have never heard a word from Tammy or anyone at the office. If she couldn't handle my issues/personality or whatever she should have just stated so. I…read morehave been going to the counseling center for the last 15 years I left that place in July 2025 and over the years my doctor had me on over 10 different medications for my bipolar I was way over medicated I found a new doctor in Fairlawn ohio and she could not believe the cocktail of medications that I was prescribed to me. My new doctor really cares about my mental health and I'm only on 3 new medications now and doing very well. I just felt like the doctor at the counseling center did not care about me at all she just kept adding new medictions all time and I just got tired of her poor services. I don't advise anyone to seek help at the wayne and Holmes County counseling center the doctors just want to over medicate their clients.
