I had the opportunity to work with Dr Daneen a few years ago while trying to improve the performance of aids received out-of-state . She patiently and thoroughly inspected them, discovered one was faulty and had to be returned to the manufacturer for repair, and once done, recalibrated them to my hearing loss.. The improvement was remarkable but more remarkable was the time and attention given to help me as much as possible with older, less efficient units. I was unable to purchase new ones due to costs, so she spent much extra time and energy in making them as efficient as possible. Dr. Daneen is truly a trustworthy professional who is incredibly bright and knowledgeable in her field. I addition, she is a funny and wonderful human being. I heartily recommend her. . . without reservation Actually, she deserves more than 5 stars!!!! read more

I've had my hearing aids over six months now; and, all I can say is that they have brought more love into my life. I was totally unaware of what I was missing in conversation. I thought I was hearing all I needed to hear. I was wrong. The connection I have with people now is like day and night. I'm no longer missing key words in a conversation or answering with some "off the wall" comment to the topic I thought was being discussed. People close to me have made subtle comments that they are grateful for my purchase of hearing help, I don't think they want to embarrass me. Having both profound and severe hearing levels following my accident, I was directed to Dr. Jabbour by my family doctor. She spent the time needed for testing and proper hearing aid selection. However, the Phonak brand hearing aids they furnished seem to have never been optimized for my needs, so I wear them only for special situations. Modern Hearing Solutions recommends the same hearing aids and they performed an initial 1 hour consultation, ear cleaning, audiology test and re-programming of the hearing aids at no cost - WOW! And yes, Dr. Nicole Smith, Au.D was wonderful to work with, exceptionally thorough in her exam and detail oriented. She is also compassionate and has a fun personality. I've been a patient of Dr. Mehta's before, but after 3 years away I had to start over as "new." Her…read morenurse Karen remembered me right away, saw how much my scoliosis and kyphosis had progressed, and got me scheduled for trigger injections. I'm a Cleveland Clinic concierge patient, but I still had to wait another month to see Dr. Mehta -- I trusted her from past treatment, so I waited despite being in significant pain. A few days ago, on my way to the appointment, I hit stopped traffic from a car accident that had just happened. I called the office at 3:10 to explain, and was told to just get there as soon as I could -- that it shouldn't be a problem given the accident. I arrived at 3:33 for my 3:15 appointment and was turned away. No exceptions, no compassion. I explained I'd driven 45 minutes, called ahead, was in serious pain, had been trying to get this injection for 3 months, and had a competition out of town the next day. I was told I'd missed the 15-minute grace period and should have been there by 3:30. A 15-minute injection could easily have been worked in. If you're looking for compassion from this office -- from the front desk or from Dr. Mehta herself -- you won't find it here. I'm still stunned that a Cleveland Clinic physician would turn away a concierge patient in visible pain over an 18-minute delay caused by an accident I had no control over, after her own staff told me on the phone it wouldn't be a problem.
