My 87 yr old Aunt had PNC for 50 years before they were PNC and she called me crying saying she…read morereceived a letter that they were closing her account. No explanation or anything. I called the bank and no one could say why. The letter just said she went against their agreement which she did no such thing. Her account was in the Penn Hills office. She doesn't drive and depends on me to take her everywhere. This letter came from the main office downtown, not from the branch.

I'm an 80 year old man with no car who will now have to walk 3 miles each way to the nearest bank to open a new account. When I called the bank, I was given no explanation for this cancellation and that their policy was to not discuss any reason for their cruel and inexplicable decision to kick me to the curb. So much for customer service!

You would think that it would be busy around here but it is a quiet oasis because no one is going to the mall. I honestly thought that this location had closed because when I came here in the middle of the day it appeared there were no cars in the lot. It is of the newer look that PNC has adopted for their branch locations. Brick building with a fancy top. Several drive thru lanes to do vehicular banking. Which is of course what I stopped here for. I needed to deposit some checks and because it did not appear busy, it was not busy. I pulled around and found it to be an easy in and out. Unfortunate location for such a business. Hopefully there will be more businesses soon that will allow for uptick in business.

Once I find one such bank, I end up sticking with them and anytime I see a branch I will stop in there. This S&T sits at a busy intersection right outside Oakmont that shares it with a Sheetz. Pretty prominent and kind of sticks out when everything else around is a golf course and homes. Pretty easy to use ATM. Appreciated that it was situated under the overhang so that I didn't get wet because it was raining. All touchscreen, no envelopes.
