People regularly receive gifts of healing, words of knowledge, and partake in the moving worship services. I remember one time Pastor Russell picked me out of the crowd and read my mail. The Holy Spirit revealed to him a timely, prophetic word that was spot on. I was happy to see Pastor Russell, standing for truth and righteousness in light of the conflicted, damaging, destructive agendas coming against God's people. He stands for uncompromising biblical truth, and that is saying something given all the pressures he's facing in the heart of Seattle.

But now that this less tasteful billboard has been posted, we did a little digging and are quite sure that isn't the case. How rich does your pasture have to be to afford some class? I wouldn't donate to this community if you do align your values with those of Christ.

They are two of the warmest caring people I have ever met. The sermons are insightful and hold your attention. The congregation is not huge about 50-100 are there as regulars. Many are multigenerational. They are friendly and reflect well upon this wonderful community. They are active with the community kitchen, food bank city cleanup etc. The choir and music which I always enjoy is excellent. If your looking for a home church stop by. I think you will like it.

I've since been to both the 10:30 a few times and their 9:00 AM a few times. Both a little different, but also the same. Good praise and worship time, great lessons, and most importantly, lots and lots of people being real. I don't do the brain-wash or the "leave your house in your will to us" stuff; I just like to go and give Him praise and glory. What a phenomenal place to do just that.

My only issue is not something that makes these guys lose a star, but it is something personal. I have issues with vertigo and stuff, so the service can become overwhelming. All goofiness aside, I believe the church does amazing things, and both Casey and his wife are groovy! One thing I absolutely LOVED was the fact that Pastor Treat used good, old-fashioned paper for his sermon notes, and he had them with him as he preached. I'm not sure why, but seeing that made me so very happy! In conclusion, the church is bright and shiny, the pastor energetic and uplifting. But, more importantly, everyone was so welcoming and kind! They passed around a collection plate at about the end of the first hour. That's fine, but then we were told it wasn't good enough and about 30 min later they announced a second collection. Quite frankly I find that rude and insulting. People of this church need to understand that acts such as this is the reason that the church is getting smaller in America. They need to know that showing Gods love to people is the only way to reach out to your community. That relationships are the answer to growing the kingdom of God. Money helps, but Jesus never sent the basket around again after getting the 5 loaves and 2 fishes saying that it won't do, he needed more. If we are to be Christs representatives on this earth, we should act the same way and have faith that God will make miracles happen when we just step out and believe that He who created the universe out of nothing can also use us in a miraculous way.
