Great fun with so many dolphin sightings the entire ride basically. The captain and his staff were so accommodating, welcoming and friendly. They serve Häagen-Dazs ice cream or Popsicles and a cash bar. Fun dancing music and flashing lights after the dolphins made you want to party all night. They took their time to make sure we have the full dolphin experience. There must've been 10 or more dolphins around us for most of the time. Sunset is spectacular and a must see. The staff will even take pictures of your groups. Restroom and board and plenty of comfortable seating with tables.

This was so much fun! We saw lots of dolphin and got to eat ice cream (included with ticket price) while doing so. They let you get up and walk around the boat for the best view and have a bathroom on board. The staff were super friendly and made it a fun tour. They went around helping take pictures for guests. It was an awesome experience!

4 stars for the Clearwater fun ice cream dolphin tour boat - you get one free cup of haagan daas ice cream which is very good, can buy drinks on board for very reasonable prices as well. The tour itself is good and it's almost guaranteed you'll see at least one dolphin and if not you get a free visit for another time, I only saw 2 dolphins on the tour sadly but was still cool to see. You'll also see famous celebrity mansions on the tour such as Hulk Hogan's, Crayola family & Tom Cruise's penthouse. I'd recommend if you're in the area but there are tons of boat tours to choose from so take a look at all their offers.

We stopped at the marina hoping to catch a sunset cruise and found Clearwater Fun Boat. The cruise was very comfortable with complimentary Hagen daz ice cream. We started with a tour of some of the mansions in Clearwater, then out into the Gulf. The sunset was beautiful and we saw so many dolphins! Highly recommend this sunset cruise!

While vacationing in Clearwater we decided to go on a dolphin/sunset ride with the fun boat crew. So many boats to choose from but we had a magnificent time!!! For a family of four it came to around 77$. They gave us complimentary ice cream and wine for the entire family! The boat ride was about an hour and half long, we had an awesome captain and co captain onboard. I can't remember their names but they were very friendly and welcoming. We had a tour around the entire island and learned some interesting facts. We laughed and smiled the entire ride.. the captain was very laid back and funny. Unfortunately we did not see any dolphins but nonetheless watching the sunset was absolutely amazing! We got to see a one of a kind boat owned by country singer, passed by Tom cruises home, the owner of Outback Steakhouse, and the makers of crayola. If you're in town and deciding which boat ride to take i highly recommend this crew! P.s. don't ask to ride closer to the sunset to get a better picture ! (inside joke)

Clearwater fun boat was so much FUN! We got ice cream (they even had a dairy free option for my toddler!) and got to see dolphins. We got to see celebrity's houses and learn some history about the area. On the way back they cranked the music up and not one person was seated. Everyone was dancing! I'm a little disappointed that we weren't able to watch the sunset on the gulf, but they said the water was too rough that evening. I would definitely do the ice cream boat again in the future.

We really enjoyed our first dolphins out in the wild encounter! The captain & first mate were very friendly and shared a lot of interesting info not just about the dolphins but also about the Clearwater Beach area in general. The boat was clean, the music was great, the dolphins were adorable and not to mention the ice cream was delicious! We were out on the water for 1.5 hours and it was a perfect amount of time--well worth the money! They also have restrooms on board as well. Thanks Fun Boat, definitely one of the biggest highlights from our trip :) P.s. only thing I would maybe add to those interested is to bring a jacket or blanket if it's more cold/windy out that day like it was for us--luckily the crew had a few blankets on board that they let us use!

It was a fun boat tour, everyone got an ice cream Sunday! They had four flavors, strawberry, caramel, chocolate brownie and cookies and cream. On the boat they gave free water and had beer, wine and hard spritzer for purchase. The tour was about 1.5 hours they took us all around and we were lucky to find some dolphins. They swam right by the boat. They took us by some houses and explained who they belong to and out in the gulf. It was a very nice tour the captain and the first mate were funny and very nice. Definitely worth the money.

Clearwater FUN Boat tours are ALWAYS a pleasure!!! Worth every reasonable penny.

I've taken several tours with Clearwater Fun Boat. The icecream boat is pure joy for the kid at heart and younger ones as well. The crew is friendly, fun, entertaining and well informed about the area, habitat and local history.

I had an hour to spare before dinner so I did the sunset ride to see if we could catch some dolphin sightings. They really pack the boat for this ride - so if you cherish your personal space, I would recommend touring another time. The tour began promptly and they gave us the ice cream right off the bat. Since they really try to sell the ice cream aspect of their tour to stand out from their competitors, I expected something more extravagant than mini Edy's cups but hey, ice cream is ice cream. Shortly after the ice cream distribution, we were off to explore the gulf! It was a scorching hot day so the breeze from the wind and the small mist from the ocean felt amazing. Our captain was very entertaining and had a lot of interesting fun facts about dolphins and the areas we were sailing by. We caught many glimpses of dolphins and it was overall a very fun excursion. If you're looking for a fancy ice cream sundae and a glamorous boat ride, this may not be for you but if you're in it for a very casual tour and some dolphin sightings, Clearwater Fun boat is a good pick!

This was worth the 45 min drive from st Pete. The captain took us around until we found a dolphin. Then he stayed in the area so we could keep watching it.

Great fun! Service was fantastic and Captain of boat was awesome. We saw dolphins and the Captain made sure we did get to see them. The tour was fun. Everyone should do this while in Clearwater.

Captain Josh was great! We saw lots of dolphins and enjoyed a nice ride around the harbor. It did rain on us as we went out and they didn't let down the plastic windows so we were soaked. The ice cream offered was a prepackaged Blue Bunny sundae which was nice but surprising a lot of plastic for a beach town concerned about ocean health.

While looking for things to do when we weren't at the games, the Little Toot Dolphin Adventure kept appearing near the top of almost every recommendation list. It absolutely did not disappoint. We couldn't believe how many dolphins we saw, and how close they came to the boat. It was an incredible experience. The commentary from the staff was also very informative and helped make the trip even more enjoyable. We would definitely do this again on future visits to the area.

The captains all clearly talk to each other and share dolphin sightings because they tend to congregate. The night before my trip with Little Toot I went on a sunset cruise with another company and saw dolphins riding their wake. I was excited to be at the back of their boat and see it for myself. You can see the Little Toot boat in one video We went out at 11. I know earlier is better but it was New Year's Day and I knew I'd want to sleep in. We saw a few dolphins here and there eating. I thought we'd go in without the exciting part. But, the captain took a survey to see if anyone was opposed to staying out a bit longer. Of course, no one objected. He found a couple of playful dolphins for us and I got to see them ride the wake. I'd seen this in a whale watching tour in Monterey Bay (California) but it was nice to see Atlantic bottlenose playing. This boat is close to the water where I've always been on larger boats in California. It's nice being to close. Even from my kayak, dolphins have been further away. I think the only way to get closer would be with captive dolphins. I did learn that there are two boats with the company. Not sure if one is better.
