I was very pleased with how well Captain Randy communicated and provided additional insight. Another incredible day out on the water! We love the luxury of boating with our family but hate the work that comes with owning a boat so the solution is aboatday Hands down the best private charter we have been on in the area. We have had several different captains and each one is so attentive and always striving to make it the best day! Today the captain worked really hard to find us a spot on honeymoon island where the kids could swim safely. They loved exploring and they found a starfish that they then sent back into the ocean. Thank you to Captain Randy and Marcos for a great "boat day"! Our party reserved the Hurricane boat for 4 hours on a Friday and the process couldn't have been easier. After booking, Randy sent me the address of where the boat would pick us up. There is a pay lot right next to where the boat was docked that made for easy parking. Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and beverages, and there is bluetooth available to be able to play your own music, which is a nice plus. Marcos was the driver of our boat and he was very personable and professional. He brought us to several locations around Clearwater that let us get away from the crowds of the main beach; including "honeymoon island", a shallow area where we could dive for sand dollars, and dolphin spotting! There was a threat of a storm towards the end of our excursion, and Marcos guided our boat so that we avoided any rain. What a great way to spend your day than out on the open sea! We had the opportunity to spend the day out on their double decker pontoon boat and can't wait to come back! These boats come equipped with your very own captain who drives you around to sightsee million dollar homes, dolphin watch, island hop and anchor out in the water to slide! There was plenty comfy seating available and since it's 2 stories, the bottom half of the boat is covered from the sun. The top level can only be used when anchored but it's a great spot to lay out and catch some rays or slide down into the water with! The boat had some water floats we were able to use which came in handy out in the water (one less thing to pack!) there was a table onboard so we brought lunch with us and space for our coolers for drinks. My family and I took a 2 hour private sunset boat cruise with A Boat Day the Saturday before Easter and had an amazing time. Our boat driver for the evening, Adam, called us 20 minutes prior to our departure time to make sure we knew where we were going, where to park, and answer any questions we might have. Upon arrival Adam was super helpful in getting everything loaded onto the boat and did a great job making sure my grandma got on safely. The nice part about this boat cruise was that we were able to bring our own beverages and food. Not too long after leaving the dock we started to see some dolphins. We spent the first half hour following the dolphins and getting an up close look at them. At one point they were swimming behind the boat in our wake and jumping out of the water. It honestly was one of the coolest things I've ever seen and definitely the best up close dolphin sighting / experience I've ever had. So already a half hour in this boat cruise was turning out to be pretty great. After playing with the dolphins for a bit we started to cruise along and Adam was very knowledgeable about all the surrounding areas pointing out Tom Brady's house, best restaurants, history facts, etc. Once we got to a good spot we enjoyed a slow cruise to watch the sunset. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The sunset was beautiful and experiencing it out on the water was even better. We then proceeded to head back to the dock to conclude our evening. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience and our boat driver, Adam, made it that much better. This weekend a group of friends and I went on A Boat Day and was able to enjoy the boat ride with music via bluetooth, wine and sun. It was a great day for a 4 hour boat cruise. Will was our captain and he made sure everyone was happy. He provided me with a charger which was a life saver as I was the DJ. This past Thanksgiving we booked the Funship, a two story pontoon boat with a water slide for our extended family to enjoy Florida. Captain Randy orchestrated everything so we had the absolute best day. We enjoyed the warmest most beautiful parts of the day cruising and looking for dolphin, which were abundant! We lounged while the kids and grandkids used the slide and walked along the more private intercoastal islands.
