I said "No" and let him continue to talk and tell me he has been doing this for over 20 years. Then he asked me again and I said, "Why are you asking me that?" His response was well when women have a husband they can split the pool bill. I then proceeded to tell him that I don't need a husband and can afford it all on my own. He said you do realize a base pool costs around $56k. I said I am very well aware of that, and I requested a brochure because my pool will be more than $56k with the amenities I would like to add, and I wanted to see what was offered. I would like this company to know I will not buy my pool from them because of this and judging from the reviews, this man is offending and running off clients so something needs to be done about him being rude, talking over people and being sexist! I am appalled and shocked this continues to happen!

Do NOT do business with these people. Blue Haven built my pool in 2009 and it was good. But…read moreneeded a new heater recently and made the mistake of buying from them. They had no idea of how to tie it in to my system, and of course when I called back to report the problem I got no help. Also my light was out in spa and I said I needed a new one. But instead of diagnosing the problem as being just a bad light bulb, he installed a whole new light for $400. When I told him I didn't appreciate him wasting my money like that, he just laughed. It's really a shame because Blue Haven used to be a good company.

Original layout was wrong, not following the plan, had to be redone. Most of the work was done by sub-contractors who lacked the ability to do the job correct. It took almost 3 times as long to finish. Shoddy finish. Some of plaster had to be redone, Brick trim started falling off a month later. Plumbing leaked, equipment failed or did not work correctly. Had to hire another contractor to redo some parts and correct all the problems. Warrenties were not honored. Most of the equipment had to be replaced by another company. One of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing with a construction related business.
