Made calls to children all night long for non essential information. Facility smelled, activities centered around church and prayer not anything stimulating or interesting. My Dad was frequently locked in his room for long periods of time. It's all about profit margin not patient care. Understaffed as well as high turnover left patients without proper care.

My Mom has paid them hundreds of thousands of dollars in the last 2.5 years and now that she doesn't have the money to continue to pay that they want to ship her off to another facility of their choosing without telling us where until the last minute. She's 92 and it will be devastating for her to have to move. They said they are at their quota for Medicare and will not have a bed for her. Don't send your loved ones there!!!!!!

To make matters worse, some of the facilities did not know I was scheduled to visit when I showed up and the appropriate people were not there. Earlier this year, I started working with a different service and after they helped me find an appropriate facility; A Place for Mom then threatened the facility if they didn't get the commission. Avoid this "place" like the plague!

They were ahead of the curve locking down the facility from visitors on March 10. The staff holds daily Zoom calls with families to keep us informed and they make every effort to help our loved ones keep in touch with us through different technology platforms. I would have highly recommended this facility prior to the Covid19 outbreak but even more so now.

My mother speaks well and often of Deb/Activities. She keeps my mom engaged in life at her new home along wiht giving her voice/choice in activities. My father lives in this community. He originally moved there with my mom more than10 years ago (mom…read moreis no longer with us). The community is such a nice and well maintained place. My has plenty of things to do and is never feeling lonely and at the same time he is keeping up with his independence. The clubhouse is nice and they have a lot of very good shows. I have had the pleasure of going with him to see a few of them and greatly enjoyed them. They have a nice exercise room, common area and a beautiful pool which is kept up well with attentive life guards that actually act like they care. I cannot say enough nice things about the community and its activities. If you are older and want to be independent and keep active with new friends, this is a great place to live. when I am over 55 maybe I will move here!
