Lots of stress visiting my mom here because people were either heavily medicated or moaning in the hallways. The carpets are filthy and the rooms are small, and it feels like they are just squeaking by.

He requested kosher food, and was provided with a very limited diet that essentially consisted of stuffed shells and sandwiches - a very poor diet, especially considering he was supposed to be building back up his strength and endurance after pneumonia. Communication (the lack thereof) continued to be a major problem. After yelling and screaming several times, we finally got little bits and pieces of information from the facility. While at Cranbury Center, he contracted Covid (and was sent into "isolation" as a result), and then suffered another bout of pneumonia. The facility at least called us to tell us about these occurrences. Finally, he had shortness of breath and a low oxygen level, which resulted in the staff releasing him back to the hospital. Thank goodness he was finally able to "escape!" To add insult to injury, the facility then sent my parents a bill of close to $3000, since they'd kept him for more than 21 days and his Medicare only covered the first 21 days. The facility's lack of professionalism and transparency have been absolutely appalling, and my father on more than one occasion told me he felt like he was not going to survive his stay there. We have told the hospital that, if he needs to be released back into rehab, under absolutely no circumstances was he to be released to Cranbury Center.

They informed us we could have a "meet and greet" with the care giver but did not mention it would be at our expense at their going hourly rate when all we wanted was to meet the person before we entrusted her with my care as someone who needs help getting around. I wanted to make sure she was strong enough before committing to pay the 4 hour minimum for care. They charged my credit card on file even though I wasn't informed there would be a charge in advance. It also seems there are too many people running things who don't know what anyone else is doing. A nurse called and said she had to visit, also at our expense, but when we balked someone else called and said it was a mistake. We receive multiple calls from different people to confirm service or gather the same information. They clearly state a cancellation less than 24 hours in advance will incur a charge. However, today they called me at 1:00 to cancel my 4:00 PM service. In conclusion, although the person they sent was fine, I am done with this company.

Unfortunately, they talk a good talk, but don't walk the walk. My sister was set to use them this week for transportation services to a medical appointment. She is disabled and can't drive. A day an a half before the appointment they called to say they don't have anyone to take her, so she should reschedule. It took her months to get in with this doctor. Then they said, well...it's kind of far to drive - when I had explicitly told them that her specialists were often an hour away. No problem - we can handle it, they said. What a load of crap! They definitely make promises just to get you signed up and they don't follow through.
