This was my first time here at Clearwoods Dry Cleaners and it certainly won't be my last! Ena and Nana are two of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of interacting with. I called Ena about an hour before they closed on Friday to have my dress dry cleaned for a party Saturday night. Ena was extremely accommodating and told me to bring it in. I brought the dress in and she said her and her husband would do everything they could to get the stains out of my dress on such short notice. Ena called me on Saturday afternoon saying that the dress was ready for pickup. When I came to pick it up, not only were all of the stains taken out, but it looked like a completely new dress. I recently returned from a long trip in Africa. My jacket is light beige and it was so brown from all the dirt and traveling that it needed a professional. I went to this cleaners and Ena and Nina (adorable sisters) greeted me with a smile and "can do" attitude. I also had another wool winter coat with some serious bird stains. Well a few days later I picked up two immaculate jackets! They worked hard to get the dust, dirt and grime out of my beige jacket which now appears new! Had to switch dry cleaners due to a move... & it's never fun to switch from something you're used to! From the outside, this cleaners looks legit. Very eye catching & easy to find. They even have a 24 drop off. The last time I went, they pressed a few shirts & blazers, ready next day. I also brought in a shirt that needed a little repair and they fixed it free of charge! I brought 2 shirts to be laundered. Since they don't always fold the collar down enough, I asked them to do it for this visit. Came to pick up, collars were too high. The ties show at bottom of rear collar. Left shirts: upon second time, shirts were slightly better but not acceptable. I could have done better doing them myself. Staff tried to tell me that they couldn't do better, so I asked for a call from the owner. Was told he would be in soon. I revisited clear woods and was told the owner was too busy to call. If there are inconsistencies in the quality of the product they deliver, I'm confident that the owner will not be too busy, and probably wouldn't need as many employees as he is supporting now. I am LIVID!!! I forgot to pick up my clothes for my daughters birthday party and I rushed as fast as I could to get to the store before it closed! I got to the dry cleaners at 5:05! Horrible. Ventura location ruined a $150 dress and refused to take responsibility. Owner sent me a letter saying that I should have had the dress drycleaned. It pains me to write this review, but based on my experience it is deeply warranted. Keep in mind I've been going to Clearwoods/Martinizing for many years. Frankly, since they became Clearwoods there seems to have been a decline in service and customer experience. There have been a few occasions where my shorts were burned, over starched and had missing buttons. Then there was the occasion with my daughter's varsity jacket where patches were sown on as if a 7 year old sewed them on. The owner made it right and corrected, but the reals issue is not so much the service decline, problems with burns or even broken buttons. The REAL issue is the absolutely rude behavior by the brunette woman of middle eastern descent. She is completely rude and acts as if she doesn't want my business. Keep in mind this is after dropping on average $50-$60 each time I go. Well sorry to say I will mot be going back. I hope the owner sees this review and reaches out because you are losing business due to this person and it will continue to decline. Seriously, you need to fire this person and clean house because if you keep her around you won't need to worry about this location because it will be out of business. read more

I explained this was my first time and asked how much they charge and she told me $10 per garment and I can read the prices on the wall.
