Have two Maltese. One is almost 15 and hard to groom. They did a great job. The other was groomed to the length we like

My sweet pup just adores PawsCLE! I have been taking her for daycare roughly 1x/week for about 6…read moremonths. She gets a chance to improve her social skills and she comes home happy and tired at the end of each day! My girl is a lively and loving rescue pup who had a somewhat rough start in life and spending time with her friends at Paws has helped her blossom and overcome some of the timidity that she used to feel around new dog friends. The staff are all so wonderful; you can tell that they really enjoy playing with the pups and I know that she is well cared for while she is there. And I really love looking at the photos they share through the client portal on their website as well as their active Instagram page!

I didn't ask for a tour, next time I will. I also wished I would have taken before and after pics. Molly is a 11 year old Black Puggle. She has a collapsing trachea and bad legs, but she has a positive outlook on life, so I spoil her. We went in over a week ago for her first de shedding bath. What a difference! She still looks good now. Definitely will get the de shedding next season and will bring her in for a touch up bath in between. Noticeable less hair in my apartment and she still smells good. Groomer was very good with her and even sent pics of her on the grooming table.

The staff was considerate in asking us if our pup should stay with the smaller dogs or larger ones (we have a medium-sized doodle). We were sent links to photos of our pup sitting on a staff member's lap and hanging out with the other pups! Safe to say our pup enjoyed her stay and the staff was very caring and professional. :)

I love K9 Cle, just absolutely love it. So far, I have boarded my dog here twice and also have done…read moreclasses. The boarding has been fantastic, and the classes were alright. This post will be about the boarding since the classes were held at K9Cle, but are not K9Cle staff. Boarding is $40 a night, which is a great price for the reasons I state below. I left my fur baby, Remy here from a Thursday to a Sunday night. I am extremely picky about the care she receives and am just so happy to have found K9 Cle since they have passed all my tests: 1. Usability. The location is prime- near the water in the flats. Very accessible and a large parking lot. Virtually, they are also very available. Their website is super easy to use, saves pets' info and can be used to book, change and update a pets boarding stay. There are also other things that can be booked online like dog cabs, poop cleanups, day care, classes, baths, etc. 2. People friendliness. Too often animal people are not people people and it is hard to do business or relate to them! However, I have not had any issues in this area. Everyone is easy to talk to, attentive, helpful, great on the phone and polite. 3. Care. Remy, my dog, loves coming here. She is very shy and also 100% deaf, but K9 does great with her. I like that they do not treat her like a liability for being a rescue, a pitbull and deaf. They understand her special needs and allow her to socialize with dogs that are the right fit for her. They also do not have breed restrictions, which demonstrates their proactive care-based approach, rather than adopting faulty traditional stereotypes. 4. Gut feeling. I cannot place my finger on it, but I know K9 does a good job past these categories. Maybe it is the cool dance hall vibe they have for the dogs (with a disco ball!), maybe it's the fact that the dogs sleep in 'dog cottages' or maybe it's the realness of the employees. Last time when we picked up Rems, she was snuggling the employee, Larry, who was waiting for us. She just seemed so happy with him, which is not always the case with other people. He told us how well behaved she was and that they even went on a field trip (they have a doggy van that they use to take dogs for rides around the city), which just shows that K9 staff go the extra mile and treat our dogs like their own. They are creative and caring, which helps me be excited to leave her for long trips rather than be sad or worried. Very reliable and exceptionally talented at what they do.

I must say, this place is AMAZING, and I say that without even using their services. After having…read moresuch a horrible experience leaving my dog with A1 Bed and Biscuit in Chardon, I began interviewing other Dog kennels. When I had contacted BOW WOW asking for prices, I mistakenly understood the service of the $25 daycare meaning overnight! I discovered it was actually $42-ish for overnight ($37 if you buy a 10 day package). It was simply over our budget as we were looking for a place to care for Winston for over 2 weeks. So, going on a misunderstanding, we scheduled for a 3 hour "interview" with Bow Wow. This is how they see if your dog is compatible with their other day stayers. It makes sense really. So it was totally free and they asked that Winston remain for 3 hours. When I came back to pick him up, they had given me a tour and handed me a folder with Winston's picture on it. LOL. This place is amazingly controlled and they literally put in controls that prevent mishandling of certain diets. This is very important, especially after what Winton went through. I am giving this place a 4/5 star because if we every would need to utilize their services, I can not imagine this place going below a 4/5 star. It simply is in a caliber of kennels all to itself. A week later they called asking if I had any questions. Just a class act!
