Even though the area they had to work with was relatively small and close to our home, they were able to maneuver their huge truck (crane) and other vehicles/equipment with ease. Working around such things as a lamp post, fruit trees, a vehicle, and a fence, not to mention power lines etc, their experience and expertise was evident. I had a pine tree growing to large on the left side of my house. The branches grew so long they were hitting the dormer and running on shingles/roof of my cape style home. The other issue was that these branches extended over the electrical lines coming from the street. I saw them recommended on some local FB forums when people asked about tree removal, so I decided to reach out to Cled's via the free estimate feature on their website https://www.cledtree.com/ I received a response quickly and had Cled come out and give an estimate. The price was reasonable, so I said let's do it. The office called a day or so later to get me on the schedule. They were booking about 2 weeks out and I got on the schedule. Got a call a day or so before confirming and saying they would be there about 9:00a. Day off I heard the trucks arrive at 8:50a and they got started right at 9:00a. I walked out and asked if they could trim back a few other trees right to the property line and they agreed for a small fee. Everything went smooth and things look good. Only issue is that I have some tire tracks from the bucket truck in my front yard. Cled also sent a stump grinder to take care of the stump a few days later. Good price, reliable, insured, clean work. What more can you ask! I would use them again. read more

Cled's was absolutely fantastic to work with. I had an ~85' Pine in the backyard in a tough location that I wanted gone. Cled's came by for a quote on time and as promised. His quote was lower than I anticipated and completely fair. The day of the service, the crew arrived on time with 3 trucks + a large crane. From the 1st call 'till the work was done, Cled, Vivian & his crew went over & above (pun intended) taking care of our unique needs. We got another estimate which was much higher than Cleds. Knowing he is fully insured, local along with the great reviews we decided on Cleds. We had a double pine tree well over 80ft tall right next to the electrical drop wire running along our driveway. After carefully removing that and maneuvering the crane up & over the glass basketball hoop to meet the chipper they moved on to the oak trees in our side yard. They took care of the 3 oak trees, removed the bat house we had on one of them along with a suet feeder that we forgot to take down. There were hundreds of pine needles and acorns on the yard & driveway and they pulled out a leaf blower and cleaned up the area better than it was before they started the job. Cleds did work in my neighbors yard and cleaned up. However for some reason they thought it was okay to set up their wood chipping equipment ON MY LAWN while I was at work and not clean up anything! They made a huge mess! Wood chippings covered my flowers, grass, shed and bird bath! My black mulch is now white. When I to asked if it was usual policy for them to set up their equipment in the next door neighbors yard I was told yes, if they had asked for permission. I was not asked permission nor did I give permission. I was also told if they could not get there over the weekend to clean it up, it would be the following week. My neighbor has since informed me that someone came and did a little raking which did absolutely nothing. I guess that was their attempt to clean up the mess and was okay to just leave it at that. What company thinks it is okay to set up shop in somebodys else's yard, make a huge mess and just leave it like that! This is a fantastic service and reasonably priced. Cled knows what he is doing and has a great team that work very hard to get the job done. We had 6 pines removed from my property, after the Nor'easters this year, some went willingly and some were taken to save future worries. They were your average 70'-100' pines you see in the area. I would highly recommend this service and yes they are worth the wait. I have to make sure you understand there's a ton of companies that can remove trees and will do a good job. What sets Cled apart, is the fact that during a time where trees were being snapped and uprooted due to 4 nor'easters in a little over a month, he DID NOT PRICE GOUGE!! I can't even begin to tell you what a relief it was to have called him and have him give me an estimate. He charged me for 6 trees what a neighbor of mine was charged for 2. Start to finish Cled and his team were great to work with. We had 12 trees that needed to be taken down, a few of them close to and leaning toward our house. They made it look easy! While they were here we asked if they could add 3 more trees Cled simply said "no problem, we'll get it done" he charged a very fair price for the extra trees and the project as a whole.
