I asked for some toilet paper while I was in the restroom and these rude, disrespectful, worthless pains in the butt who were going around checking blood pressure, told me to use my damn hand. My hand!! I wasn't about to do that so I got my roommate to get the TP for me and it was not an issue for him. Then I approached the two floor staff members in the hallway and demanded an apology. Only one of them apologized which makes me suspect it was the short, chubby one who said it. So I won't be returning to that psyche hospital in the near or far future. They can stand to improve majorly. I am extremely dissatisfied with the care I received all in all.

She was admitted saturday morning and was discharged in the afternoon on Sunday. Visitation Rights: 2 times. Location/Parking: Located between Venice and Catesby Ln.. Paid parking can be found in their private parking structure, meter parking along Grand/surrounding streets, and/or the place we decided to park near the metro station next to LA Trade Tech which was free on Saturday. It was about 15 to 20 minute walk. Ambiance/Decor: Hospital is alright and relatively clean. They also have a outdoor patio to sit and enjoy some sunshine. Order Of Visitor Operations: 1) Walk in and get a visitor badge. They have face masks on the counter for you. 2) You can visit the gift shop or just take the elevator to where your love one/ones are. Service/Experience: Service was great. The nurses and doctors that were assigned to my mom provide great care and was thorough in explaining of the procedure that was going to be done on the following day. The nurses didn't struggle with operating the aspirator device compared to the other hospitals that she was transferred to before going to Diginity. Long story short, my mom had gastritis and was actually able to go home on the same day she had the EGD. Dignity Health For Thought: Overall, my mom's experience was good and the nurses and doctors were professional and thorough in their explanation of the procedure that was going to be done. CNA Carla Smith is normally in Registry and, based on my experience, appears to "float" into different areas. Based on my experience, I would not feel comfortable having any one of these employees responsible for the care of myself or a loved one. Please advocate for yourself and your loved one and speak up if you have concerns about the care being provided. Doing so could help ensure safer care for you or your loved one. I also had difficulty obtaining assistance through Patient Experience. I was unable to reach Garrett South by phone because my calls were not answered and there was no voicemail available. I experienced the same difficulty when attempting to reach Matt Salas, and I was unable to determine which department he works in, I was provided his name as a point of contact for assistance. My purpose in sharing this review is not to make accusations, but to encourage patients and families to ask questions, advocate for themselves, and request additional assistance when they have concerns about their care. Patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and confident in the care they receive.

Somehow he is also their primary care physician. My mother was suffering from excruciating headache for days and went to see Dr Rheem. She explained how she was suffering from the worst headache in her life and so bad it made her throw up. He referred her for an MRI which was over a week later rather than having her go to the ER to check it out. When I learned of what was happening I took my mother to the ER. They found a brain bleed and an aneurysm in her Carotid artery. I could have lost my mother due to this doctor's incompetence.

This will more accurately lead you to the underground parking lot and prevent you from getting lost. I opted to be healthy and used the stairs from my parking spot and ended up exiting outside in front of the Bank of America Financial Center building. Through the main front door entrance of the building, down one floor via the escalators on the left, and through the double doors marked 'Rotunda' on the left, you will then see a big fountain and waterfall. At this point, you should be able to spot the Kaiser Permanente signs across the courtyard and just need to walk around the fountain to get to your designated suite (130, 145). The doc I chose was in suite 145 with a handful of others. You can either announce your check in with the front desk staff or use the QR code kiosks to check in yourself. You can also get your parking validated ($13 w/ validation). They do have lab services in the suite with a few designated lab chairs for you to wait in after you receive a numbered ticket from the front desk after your appointment. The only downside is that there is no pharmacy nearby and so you'll either have to go to one of the many locations on Sunset Blvd or opt for mail delivery of any RXs (3-5 business days) through the Kaiser app. Overall, the location is quite clean, well kept, and service was pretty good. Still enforcing face masks so be sure to have one handy or just grab one from the front desk. As for exiting, simply head back through the 'Rotunda' entrance around the fountain and then take the escalator down and there is a self-pay ticket machine. Once you're paid up, look for signs indicating your parking level on the RIGHT side and follow that to some escalators in the parking lot. DO NOT just keep going down the escalators in the building for each level as they end up going into business offices and not the parking lot. Hope this info helps to prevent you from getting lost and stressing out.

Spent nearly an entire work shift just to get seen and checked. They are extremely understaffed and overbooked with walk ins. They need more CT scan rooms, and nurses willing to see patients. At the end of the day, I was treated, but I did not feel cared for and did not feel like I was important. Of course, there are other patients and we all want to be prioritized but the issue is they receive more patients than they can handle and it does not seem to matter to them at all. You will get treated, just expect to waste a lot of time.
