This was only one of many unpleasant interactions with the office. Their manner in dealing with patients over insurance payments, appointments, etc. is so unhelpful and the information provided is full of mistakes. In addition, my new dentist's front office staff mentioned they have had contentious exchanges over obtaining patient records. I understand someone having a bad day, but this is an ongoing problem in their office. I want to believe the managing dentist is not aware of how some of the front office staff treat patients and . If they were aware, I would think they would provide their personnel with training in customer relations. I will not be back.

I am so grateful that we chose Dr. Z and his team. From the first time I phoned, the staff has been incredibly kind and accommodating. When we first walked through the doors we were greeted with a great big smile and an empathetic nod. We waited for only a minute or two when we were brought to the chair (they welcome me to sit in with him and always have a chair ready in the room). After a LOT of xrays (during which, I had to wait in the hall, where I got to admire the many accolades awarded to Dr. Z) and a consult, we learned that hubby was in need of several crowns. Dr. Zeringue explained the plan and the timeline expected. Dr. Z has been patient and taking the time to adjust hubby's temporary crowns slowly over time as his traumatized jaw continues to heal to ensure his bite corrects before ordering the permanent crowns. Hubby's injuries have given us a few surprise concerns, but Dr. Z has been able to put them all to rest. While the process has been lengthy, getting the job done right is much appreciated. Despite his many years of experience, Dr. Zeringue values education and growth. He said to me, "The day I stop learning is the day I end my practice." Because of this, I am confident that the equipment, skills, and materials Dr. Z uses are the best. Dr. Z educates us as often as he can, from discussing the material and manufacturer of the crowns, to the oral care products to use (and avoid), and why some people have horror stories and what he does (and doesn't do) to ensure we will have no horror stories of our own. This enthusiasm also means that Dr. Z offers a large menu of sought-after dental services at fair prices. Well last night I flossed like I always do and the filling came out. Now that side of my mouth hurts and I tell that to the receptionist and she said he won't be available til Monday. I ask will it be covered and she said since they have to do it over I would have to pay again. I explained to her about the sensitivity, and how I have other fillings from other dentist & it never fell, this isn't on me so why would I have to pay again. Second visit here for something! I had a few cavities that needed attention, so of course I came…read moreback here. Unfortunately I was informed that they can no longer (for the time being at least) do i.v. deep sedation for cleanings/fillings. This scared me a lot at first. Like, I wanted to leave as soon as I heard it. The dentist and I talked about alternatives to i.v. sedation and landed on oral sedation. I have had it before and didnt have a great result.. but, that was for a root canal, this time it was just fillings. So I figured I could manage. We got everything set up with ease and everyone was great throughout the process. Morning of the appointment I took my sedation pill and didnt really feel "sedated" but I also didnt feel like I was about to cry. Haha i put on my noise canceling headphones and the dentist and tech went to town, checking on me from time to time. Everything went great!! I'm so proud of myself for this small victory in the step of maintaining my teeth. Some people need way more help than others and everyone here is unbelievable. They really only want what's best for you, your teeth and your nerves! Love everyone here!
