I just wanted to update my review to say that I've been to this Clement's location several times since my original review, and have been very happy with the service and the paint. I went there today to pick up an online order, and I was only in there for about 30 seconds because they got me taken care of so quickly. As for the paint, today I was picking up some Regal Select exterior paint, in low lustre. Amateurtip: why waste valuable time and effort on surface prep when you can just use low sheen paint to downplay the mess? read more

I wanted to re-paint parts of a new entertainment center but I had no idea where to begin. Thank goodness the staff at Clement's Paint was so helpful! I brought in a piece of the furniture that I was trying to color match and they helped me pick out exactly the color I needed. They also recommended the type of primer I should use. Apparently you have to be a man in order to get good service at this place. I walked in and not one of the three guys behind the counter greeted me. It took me looking directly at one of them and smiling to get a smile back. And that's all I got, no words. I went to the back to evaluate my color options (which I had spent hours and hours selecting online) and I guess I thought someone might swing back to check on me. Maybe that's just not how they roll. They must be more of a "if you want help, you need to know what you want and come find us" kinda place. After waiting and beginning to think I can get the same kind of service, cheaper and more convenient, at Home Depot, I decided to give them one more chance as I walked past the counter on my way out the door. All it took for me to bolt outta there was the guy behind the counter asking me if I "had fun." Had fun? Fun? Really? You think that I'm here for fun? I'm trying to paint my entire house in carefully chosen colors and finishes, vacillating over 40 different blues, and you're asking me if I had fun?? It would have been more fun punching you in the face. Next time, try taking a young, pretty woman seriously when she walks in your store. I'm sorry to have to do this, but it looks like I'm a big box paint gal from now on. read more

I love the guys at Arrow Paint. They are always friendly and helpful and they never complain when I walk out with fistful of color swatches. I admit a small addiction to the sample pots of Benjamin Moore paint. Our living room was a pretty cool patchwork of about 15 colors before I finally decided on one. Benjamin Moore is the best paint on the market. Period. It's expensive, yes, but a little goes a LONG way, and the colors and finishes are superb. I've pained every room in my house several times over and used to be a Sherwin Williams gal, but the color choices offered by Benny Moore are much better. The service here has always been great, even if the guys give me shit for getting 16 samples of gray-blue. I'm knocking off a star for their limited hours and SUPREMELY SHITTY parking situation/location. Be prepared to gird your loins if you have to pull off the crossing-three-lanes-of-traffic maneuver to get into the damn place. I do love the water feature by the front door, though! read more

Jon A. and I have visited three times in the past month for paint samples. (Arrow Paint & Supply is a Benjamin Moore retailer.) While waiting in line during our first visit, a very persistent lady was testing everyone's patience by continually insisting that her color matching requests be clearly labeled so that she doesn't mix them up. (The two shades appeared to be close.) But the staff was happy to acknowledge her request as many times as she repeated herself. The staff was also willing to answer our questions (except for the touchy subject of recommending an actual color: guess you have to hire an interior decorator for that). Price ranges of different offerings, various finish options, why Benji Moore primer versus Kilz are all fair game at Arrow. Oh, and feel free to take as many helpful brochures as you want. They'll help you make your final decision. Saturdays are busy even when they open at 8:00 AM, so if you know what you want, you can call ahead and place your order to minimize your wait in line. The parking lot is pretty small (and sometimes hard to get out of), so you might want to park on Laird Dr, which borders Arrow on the east side. The verdict: The guys at Arrow know their stuff and are happy to share their knowledge with you. I'd recommend getting your painter's tape and Purdy brushes at a big box retailer for a better deal, but if you need Benji Moore, Arrow will satiate that thirst. read more

Been using these guys for years.. I've only been to the store on 6th Street and West Lynn area (and west before that). I've never had a problem. In fact, they've solved several problems. The service is great and .. well, not much more to be said except 5 star. read more

Amazing Customer Service and Top Notch Products Friendly, Accommodating, Knowledgeable, and Fair  We repainted the entire interior and exterior of our house, and instead of hiring a designer to select the paint grade and color - I took on the project. I was a frequent visitor to the store for almost 6 months. The team at the Koenig store were always friendly,and helpful when I needed information. I noticed they treated every customer with the same respect. Brice was especially patient and helpful during the process of selecting colors. He did a great job of managing incoming customers, filling orders while still assisting me, thanks Brice! Marco and Steve were a tremendous help when I needed to decide on the paint grade and sheen, and I never felt pressure to purchase a specific grade. The information I learned about the different paint grades (including other brands paint) made the process easy. I highly recommend Clement's Paint on Koenig!! read more

You may all go to Home Depot, and I will go to Clement's. I went into Clement's today to purchase a gallon of Benjamin Moore paint, a sample of which I had purchased online. The purchase of a larger quantity was only available in-store and at select stores, one of which was Clement's. Online I learned that Clement's specializes in the Motion Picture Industry, Television, Scenic & Set companies, Faux Finishers, as well as the general public and contractors. I am definitely "the general public," seeing as I simply enjoy painting my place to change things up once or twice a year. The gentleman who assisted me was very helpful and found the color I requested right away, prepared it, charged me then continued to give me advice (much of which was completely over my head, but very much appreciated!) about how to apply the paint, in what order, why the viscosity of this particular paint mattered, what I would encounter if I applied it in a different manner, what the elemental makeup of the pain meant in the context of applying a pleasing coat, etc. I clearly have a lot to learn about paint. I should endeavor to know more about my paint choices and now I'm very interested! This was a very pleasant experience. I was in and out with my paint, a new paintbrush and a massive, under-appreciated knowledge-drop within 15 minutes while on my lunch break :) read more

I was interested in some specific Benjamin Moore paints, so I came to Clement's. My experience was okay... the guys are helpful, but can also come across as kind of condescending and not super helpful or interested, even when the store is not busy. Unless I am in desperate need of a specific Ben.Moore color, I wouldn't consider going back. read more

I don't know when most people do their painting, but I do it on the weekend. I ordered several samples online, then drove clear across town to pick them up and they're not open! It's 2:17 and they close at 2 on Saturdays, closed on Sunday. If you have ridiculous hours like that, you should make it known! Like in the email that says, "your order will be ready at 2:17 pm" it should say, "but don't actually come at that time because 'we not open. And since you just paid online, we're also going to hold your samples hostage so you can't go buy them somewhere else with normal hours." I will have to drive accross town again to pick them up next week. Rest assured, that will be ALL I purchase there. I will buy my 20 gallons ANYWHERE ELSE!! read more
