As far as how painful it is, I have an extremely high pain tolerance. For me, getting the tattoo "hurt" more than having it removed. My tattoo is pretty small and it's on my forearm, so maybe it's because of the size and location. Each sessions starts with the tech asking if there are any changes to your medical history, and some additional questions about whether you've had sun exposure and a few other things. The tech puts an ice pack on the tattoo to numb it, and then they adjust the laser settings and go over the tattoo. It's pretty seamless from start to finish, and my tattoo is almost removed completely now after 9 sessions. I would highly recommend using Removery if you are interested in getting your tattoo removed!

The interaction crossed major personal and professional boundaries to the point that I no longer felt comfortable or safe. His behavior felt predatory to me, and I ignored my instincts after the consultation and deeply regret returning for the appointments. After my experience, I discovered that other women had publicly described similar uncomfortable interactions with him in past reviews from many years ago, which made me even more concerned that this may not be isolated incidents. I had a Halo Laser Treatment in early December 2025…read more Let me first say that everyone at the location were great. It is the treatment and recovery that were very disappointing and painful. I was warned of the post treatment burning sensation and of the possibility of inflammation. Those both happened to a degree which I don't feel I was warned about. On day 6, I developed what I thought was a rash/infection by my mouth. I contacted my doctor since it was a Sunday, and was advised to be seen in person. Turned out that I had gotten shingles (I have been vaccinated)! I was prescribed an Antiviral as well as some ointment. I had also sent an email to Belladerm. They did contact me on Monday and offered to call in a prescription for an Antiviral. I feel like some sort of partial refund for the issue would have been an appropriate gesture. I will say that my skin tone from the treatment is a little better, but not TWO THOUSAND dollars better (plus the cost of the doctors visit and prescriptions). It was not money well spent. I did learn my lesson.
