Clear, transparent communication is essential when making decisions about cosmetic procedures, and that standard was not met in my case. Instead of addressing concerns collaboratively, I was told I would no longer be accepted as a client. As a paying patient, I expect professionalism, accountability, and respect, especially when asking reasonable questions about my own treatment. A while ago, I went to the TMJ Dr./Specialist for jaw pain. The minute I walked in, they all said, "we got a clencher". I was told that I constantly 'clench' my jaw, and that is why I'm sore and have large masseter muscles from constantly squeezing my teeth together as if I was chewing but wasn't. I had no idea that I was doing this. I was given some rubber bands and some exercises to perform, and it did help alleviate the pain. The only problem is that my masseter muscles were extremely large and made my jaw line look abnormal. I was informed by several friends and family that it could be taken care of. Hello Honey Aesthetics! I had an appointment with Ven, and he explained how 'tox' would reduce my masseters and get my jaw line back to my younger age. Mind you, I'm 50, male, and didn't really care, but my wife said to just try it, so I did. Ven was very professional and patient. He answered all of my questions and actually made me feel comfortable. He explained the procedure and how many 'shots' would be needed (6 total, 3 each side in my case) He was very meticulous in designing the treatment and even said to 'clench and feel these marbles as they will be gone'...right...ok... Needless to say - HE WAS RIGHT!. It's been 4 weeks now and what a difference! Yes, I will have a follow-up and may need another round to solidify the results, but WOW! Dima is also really upbeat and kind and gets the process going really fast so you don't have to waste any time while you're there. Alesya is an amazing nurse who is seriously one of the best in the business! She answers every question you have, she's very skillful at injections and she makes sure you are happy with your results. The clinic itself is in a really great location, it's convenient no matter where in the cities you drive from. It's also located right next to Ridgedale mall so you can get some shopping done before or after your appointment as well. Went here on a recommendation for Dysport. I had previously been to another provider, but wanted to try this place since the reviews are good. I had Erin and the whole experience was very rushed. She didn't confirm if I wanted Dysport or Botox. I also had to confirm locations the second before she stuck the needle in. She then immediately sent me into the lobby with a small piece of gauze while my injection sites were still bleeding so I could pay. The receptionist had me pay then started asking about my availability three months from then, when I asked what for, he told me it was for my next appointment for more injections. I started going to see Nurse Alesya Almost a year ago. I'm in my mid50s and signs of aging have begun! She's so great to work with in helping me figure out what I can do to improve my overall appearance. She's a great listener, doesn't push anything on you, and I trust her work. Injections didn't last and placed in the wrong spots on my head versus what I had asked to get done. She is a newly grad with a new business do not believe the hype.
