Unfortunately, this place has severely gone downhill. It used to be one of our go-to spots in…read moredowntown Clermont but has become a spot we avoid. They have a fantastic variety of beers and other drinks (like sangria and margaritas) on tap. If you're seeking a drink only, it's great for a quick drink and listen to live music. However, our visit today was disappointing. There were many bored looking individuals hanging around everywhere chatting with each other, and it was distracting overall for us and our server. The food? Subpar at best. They used to have delicious sushi options, now gone. The nachos quality was so bad that we ordered, picked at it and then finished our drinks and ran off. I could literally taste the stale corn chips, grocery brand salsa and queso. If you can't make it better than I can in my home kitchen, I'll opt to just stay home or go somewhere else. I am sorry to post this because Clermont Brewery was a favorite for us as locals. However, the new ownership seemingly has driven what was unique and delicious from this restaurant. We won't be back anytime soon.

I got invited by a friend to go to Tuesday night bingo. I'd never been to this restaurant but I'm…read moredown for bingo whenever lol When I got there it was packed! Luckily I ended up getting a parking spot kind of at the front, in the dirt parking lot across the street. My friend's uncle had saved us a table so that wasn't a problem but inside was packed as well. I really enjoyed their version of bingo. It is cash only so make sure you're prepared. But they start off with normal 5 across and then play different designs on the square. You also play for money every time so depending on how many people pay in... for one $2 game the pot was around $800 and for the fill the square, last game which is $5 buy ins, it was over $1800!!! The food was also good. I started with a strawberry basil mojito. It's served in a regular glass which I felt was worth it bc usually those are served in those small cups. For dinner I ordered the chicken quesadilla, 1000/10 recommend. It looks small but they stuffed that baby with chicken. The flavor was great and it came with salsa, sour cream and guac. I did end up trying my friend's truffle fries and they were also so so good, I wish I ordered an order of those for myself. Unfortunately this place is a little for from me but if I get invited to bingo again I'm saying yes!!! So much fun

The standout dishes were the Papa's Egg Roll, the Black Brick Tower, and the Dan Dan Noodles. All three are must orders. The egg roll was packed with flavor and perfectly crispy, the Black Brick Tower was fresh and beautifully balanced, and the Dan Dan Noodles had the perfect combination of spice, richness, and texture. Honestly, every bite was amazing. The atmosphere was great for a date night, with attentive service and a fun, energetic vibe. It's not often that every dish exceeds expectations, but that was definitely the case here. We left already talking about what we want to order on our next visit. What I ordered: - Blackbrick Tower: Six steamed siu mai -- truffle sticky rice, shrimp & bamboo, chicken & chive - "Papa's" Egg Roll: Shrimp, Duroc pork, green beans -- grandmother's 100-year recipe - Dan Dan Noodles: Sichuan pork, local bucatini, Beijing sesame & peanut - Lobster Fried Rice: 10oz Maine lobster tail, scallion, egg thread - Brussels Sprout: Soy-braised, sesame - Ma La Fried Chicken Crispy, numbing chili -- the one guests remember

I went on a Wednesday night with a big group. Brittany was taking care of us. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and the background of the history of how the restaurant came to be. The place had a dark moody vibe with art works from Basquiat. The menu was stacked with a great variety of good items. We started with the dumplings, (not pictured), and all the food we had looked amazing! Now, to the how the food actually tasted. I would say that it exceeded my expectations. I've had food from an upscale modern Asian type restaurant, and most of them left me disappointed, but this one wasn't bad. I don't even like Brussels stouts, yet it was really good, even tried the Gator! I was told that the eggroll was good, I found it to be okay. But everything else was great. At the end of our meal, Richard Hales himself came up to our table and asked us how it was. Highlight of the night. Presentation, good food, great service, and good company. I would say this was a very pleasant experience and would definitely visit again.

I saw their truck at an art fair and had no idea what this would be like, but I just had to check it out because of how interesting it looked. It's a massive bus with rooftop seating! That's not common! You can go to the top and lounge around while you enjoy ice cream, or take it to go. Super cool! Now for their flavor they have done something truly amazing and unique. I ordered the dulce de leche with graham crackers (amazing recommendation on their end). It's such a good unusual combination. But that wasn't the only surprisingly cool part. The treaties of the ice cream was something I've never had before, and I've made ice cream, so I know the texture quite well. It was almost a chewy rice pudding texture that was absolutely smooth and creamy at the same time. It had a bit of spring to it which I tried to capture in photos. But this texture also made it seem slightly melt-restaurant too! Yes, it did melt a bit as time went on (I was really savoring it) but it didn't melt nearly as fast as most ice creams do. Truly interesting and unique experience all around. I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

Not joking though. I can't get enough of this diverse, inclusive family-friendly community that I hope to one day raise my own kids in. I've watched so much growth happen here over the last decade and it's been beautiful to be a part of. So many new restaurants, bars, and businesses have popped up and I'm happy to see them thriving. Mills 50 is also one of the more walkable neighborhood streets in Orlando, and I'm so fortunate that I can easily hop over to some of my favorite local gems like The Strand, Black Rooster Taqueria, Hawkers, Qreate Coffee, Pig Floyd's, House on Lang, The Sunroom, Sampaguita Ice Cream... this list goes on and on! I was also thrilled to learn that Mills 50 was also featured on Yelp's list of the most LGBTQ-friendly neighborhoods in the U.S. this year.
