    STARRY NIGHT
    Steph T.

The last time I came here was on a Wednesday afternoon. There was an event about the start in the bar area, so we sat outside on the patio. It was a bit of a bummer since we couldn't enjoy all of the crazy artwork, but at least there was the perfect weather. Overcast with a beautiful breeze. I got the Starry Night and the Frozen Strawberry Limoncello. He got the Warhol Wake Up and the Impressionist, which was created by Michelle, our wonderful bartender. We decided to give a little bit of everything a try so we ordered the "Get 'Em All!" It had jerk chicken skewers, a Cuban slider, a cauliflower taco and more! In my opinion, the best bite of the plate is always the jerk chicken. A close second was the chicken chorizo slider, which was also bursting with flavor. And don't even get me started on the dessert! Those triple chocolate cake pops were so decadent. The strawberry and whipped cream were a nice pallet cleanser in between nibbles. All in all it was a great time with delicious drinks and bites.

I can't believe I haven't left a review for Tu Tu just yet! This is currently- and has been for a few years- my all-time favorite restaurant. It's the perfect mix of delicious food, artsy and fun ambiance, interactive elements, and reasonable pricing. The wait staff is always fantastic, friendly, and great about explaining how things work if you've never visited before. Tu Tu Tango is a small plates restaurant known for their incredible bottomless brunch, which includes a fabulous self serve taco bar and unlimited small plates from their brunch menu. They also have bottomless mimosas at brunch and awesome happy hour specials from 3-6 *and* late night every day except Saturday. All of the food is outstanding and their dishes span a wide variety of options from across the globe. To top it off, the whole restaurant is colorful, funky and the walls are covered with artwork (which you can purchase if you fall in love with a piece!). There is always something going on- from live music to fortune telling to artists sitting at their easels creating right in front of you. I visit Orlando often, and this is the place I always recommend when people ask me where to go. Five stars, don't miss it!

Cafe Tu Tu Tango is located just steps from ICON Park, making it the perfect place to experience the energy Orlando has to offer. And that energy is exactly what Cafe Tu Tu Tango delivers--an immersive and colorful atmosphere, excellent music, amazing service, and the perfect spot to recharge after exploring Orlando. Be sure to stop by for Happy Hour--you definitely won't regret it. It's the perfect opportunity to sample a little bit of everything Cafe Tu Tu Tango has to offer. Their Black Bean Hummus with pita bread is my go-to choice, paired with a glass of white sangria, of course. The Baja Fish Tacos are another fantastic option. And the street corn? My absolute guilty pleasure. It's so good that I refuse to share it with anyone! Whether you're a local or just visiting Orlando, Cafe Tu Tu Tango is a fun, energetic spot that's well worth a visit.

Back again but this time I was able to catch their late night happy hour at the bar. Everything except the spirited cocktails on their happy hour menu was $5.22. I started with the red sangria which was good. I then got the warhol wake up cocktail ($8.22) which was basically an espresso martini. That cocktail was really good. I didn't grab any food but next time I'm in town I will grab some and try a different cocktail.

As locals, we typically do not visit restaurants in the I-Drive area, however we visited Cafe Tu Tu Tango on a whim as we were able to secure a reservation on a busy holiday weekend (Memorial Day). Vibes were fun & quirky, with an aesthetic I can only describe if Chuy's and House of Blues had a baby; artsy & eclectic. Our server was very nice and had good recommendations. We enjoy tapas style restaurants as an opportunity to try a variety of small plates to get a feel of what the restaurant offers. We ordered the street corn, sesame steak skewers, and garlic maple chicken wings. The corn and steak skewers (so tender) were delicious, however the wings fell a bit short. They weren't bad, but there wasn't any essence of garlic or maple; more like heavy ginger and citrus. Cafe Tu Tu Tango is an enjoyable option for tourists who want something perceivably "different" than what they'd experience at home or in the surrounding area. We may consider trying their brunch in the future with a side of fortune reading :)

All restaurants decorate; Café Tu Tu Tango moves you into the house of your most artistic relative and hands you a fork. It's Bernie Focker's (Meet the Fockers) dream loft reimagined as a Spanish tapas spot -- art on every wall, resident painters working at micro-studios between the tables, mismatched chairs, a come-as-you-are welcome that treats you like family the moment you sit. Founded in 1991 by three friends fresh off a Barcelona trip, it wears that origin honestly (the actual exchange-of-ideas café they fell for). We arrived during the sleepy 2 o'clock siesta hour, straight off a punishing day at Epic Universe. They nearly seated us beside a blaring speaker; when we asked to move, the hostess braced for high-maintenance guests, then agreed the spot near the bar was much quieter once we landed there. My wife's coconut frosé revived her wrecked electrolytes; the marinated cucumbers cooled us both. Then the plates: spare ribs, steak, a thin-crust Tex-Mex taco "pizza" just past personal size. We liked it well enough to come back two days later with friends and order a much larger spread. The verdict, dish by dish: the tzatziki was the sleeper hit, cool and herby enough to fight over; the Cuban sandwich was flat-out decadent; the hummus, shrimp, and street corn (offered on or off the cob -- a nice touch) all held their own; the brussels sprouts were good but couldn't keep up with the table. Drinks split the difference: the margarita earned its chili-salt rim, while my old fashioned was nothing to write home about. 4.4. What keeps it from higher is sound. The speaker seating stumble was obvious to them too, and a Spanish room spinning '80s cuts instead of anything Latin is a small, nit pick. Would we come back? Of course, we already did, obvisiously, in one trip. Next time we're in Orlando makes three.

Always a favorite when in Orlando! Made a reservation a week prior through OpenTable. We arrived at 530pm on a Friday and were able to take advantage of the Happy Hour, which was a phenomenal deal. There were 3 of us. We split 2 of the set appetizer menu. Came with 9 items in each set. The black bean hummus was delicious! I ordered a starry night cocktail, which was also good!

I was a frequent visitor of the Atlanta, Ga. location and this location is totally different than that location. This location is more casual and eclectic. We went during brunch on a Saturday and the menu is very limited if you're not interested in the brunch. But I must say the customer service was very good. Our server "Heidi" was really good and patient with us. I had the sausage pizza minus the hot cherry red peppers and it was a good single size serving. My wife had the shrimp and grits which was more like an appetizer size. She said it was good because everything was fresh. My sister had a plain Belgium waffle and she said it was sufficient. I only gave them a 3 star based on the limited menu, I reserved the patio section and once we arrived I was informed that it was reserved for a private party. And the portion size should all have been listed on the appetizer side of the menu.

It has been several years since I have been to café tu tu tango and it was nice to be back this time for brunch. For $62 and some change you get unlimited items on the menu as well as endless mimosas. Like many brunch locations in Orlando they do have a two hour maximum at the table for brunch and the whole table has to do bottomless brunch. We tried a little bit of everything, but some of my favorites were the chorizo, chicken slider, the dynamite shrimp, the chilled udon noodles, and the breakfast tacos. There is a taco bar where you can get regular Carne Asada, chicken Tinga, and El Pastor tacos and they were OK but it's mass serving so a couple was good enough for me. Our server was excellent. She took really good care of us and always made sure that our mimosas were full.

I went to Café Tu Tu Tango and it's easily one of my favorite happy hour spots in Orlando. Happy hour runs Sunday through Friday from 3-6 PM, with most drinks around $5 and cocktails at $8. They also offer a great selection of small plates for about $4 each. But my go-to is the "Get it All" for $19 deal. It's such a steal, especially if you're with someone, since a few dishes are perfect for sharing. The atmosphere is beautiful, filled with artwork from local artists, which makes the whole experience feel creative and unique. The music always sets the vibe. It's lively, but still low enough to actually have a conversation. You can sit at the bar, lounge inside, or enjoy the outdoor patio, so there's a spot for whatever mood you're in. The food is consistently amazing, and you really get great value for what you spend. It honestly feels like a full dinner for a fraction of the price. Service has always been attentive, and I've had a great experience every time I visit. Definitely a go-to spot if you're looking for good food, good energy, and a great deal.

You know one of those places you can go to again and again and still not try everything you wanted to or see and experience all the crazy things going on? Well this is one of those as it really does have something for everyone! Coming here has been a long time coming as we've always said that this is one of those places we are gonna go to when we can't decide what we wanna eat because here you get to try a few different things to make what's totally good! First we went with the Brussels sprouts they were cooked perfectly with a bit of a sweet and a bit of a chili vibe to set us up for what came next! Those delicious jerk chicken skewers were yummy the chicken was tender and full of flavor and just hit the sauce spot totally! The chicken tikka was definitely some of the best I've had in a while as it has soo much flavor that you couldn't contain it all in one bite especially with those pickled onions on top! The Cajun chicken pizza was flat and flavorful with bits of chicken all through it as well as soo much flavor it was definitely cool to take a some of that to break up the other goodies we had at the same time! My drink was literally as If I was drinking a sweet blueberry it was soo good and just delicious like that really was one of the best cocktails I've had in a while! Our service was amazing as they kept checking on us as you order things as you go at least we do so much love to the staff because that's gotta be a lotta work going back the table soo many times! Now throw all that in with live belly dancing and love artists yeah that just set the vibe for what's totally good as who doesn't like artistic activities going on around you! My only downside to coming here is their parking but I'm not gonna knock them for it as it seems like it's kinda forced upon them with their neighbors doing it but I might be one of the few to say this but I hate valet parking I'd rather do it myself and that's just what I did as parked in another parking lot and just walked over problem solved! Overall I'm sure we will be back here again at some point because how can you not next time though it's gotta be a group with a bunch of friends because then that will just be a party!

Still 5 stars for me (and any out-of-town guests I bring here)! My friends from Indianapolis were driving through Orlando and wanted to meet for lunch. Their daughter was in town last summer, I took her here and she told her parents about it. They asked if they could experience it, too. I made a reservation and we were seated immediately in the bar area as it was not crowded for lunch on this day. We ordered the following items: Mandarin Orange Salad (my friend loved the spicy peanuts in the mix). Cuban Sliders (my selection; always a good choice). Butter Chicken Tikka Masala (my selection; good, but the item consisted of chicken thighs rather than white meat-my mistake for not looking closer at the menu). Bananas Foster Waffles (the mom absolutely loved this item and said her daughter highly recommended these waffles). Milk Chocolate Waffles (the dad said they were perfect!) I was given a 20 percent off card during my last visit. This "Love Loyalty" card is a way to reward locals for regularly visiting Cafe Tu Tu Tango (and Mia's Italian Kitchen!) on International Drive. Another reason I keep coming back and bringing guests. Everyone raves about the food, the art on the walls and the overall great ambiance.

Such a unique dining experience! The restaurant itself is bizarre in the best way. Local artwork adorns the walls bringing a vibrant color to the space. The atmosphere is quirky, loud, and fun! Last night (Saturday night) they had a tarot card reader set up, as well as belly dancers for live entertainment. A lot going on! Service was great. Food and drinks were really good; but it is all about what you order! I recommend reading reviews beforehand like we did to identify the popular + skippable items. We ordered a few small plates to share: - Dynamite shrimp was fantastic! Flavors were on point and I loved the crunchy slaw it came with as well. 4 pieces of shrimp to an order so get two if you're hungry! - Black bean hummus - excellent taste! Loved this but wish they'd served more of the soft delicious pita bread that comes with it for dipping. - Elote - good but very cheesy. - Sesame Steak Skewers - meat was cooked to perfection. Enjoyed this one! - Guava bread pudding for dessert. This was alright. A little dry. Sangria was a miss but the Jimmy margarita was great. Nice non-chain restaurant option to try when in Orlando!

The service is efficient, the food and drink specials for Happy Hour from 5-8pm are excellent and you can easily walk to your event. The Lounge is relaxed and not crowded as other locations in this area, especially before a performance or a Magic game. (Both were going on the night we stopped in.) Last year, Yelp held its annual award event here. I ended up meeting a couple that was in the lounge area that were going to Dr. Phillips later that night. We struck up a conversation-they asked what this big Yelp group was about, and I provided the details. They said they always come to the WXYZ Lounge before a performance arts event as this place is not crowded and the food is quite good. I remembered this conversation when a friend and I attended a recent event at Dr. Phillips. As luck would have it, Woody and Kim were in the Lounge when we walked in Friday night! I introduced them to my guest and thanked them for their recommendation. We then went to sit at the bar. First off, LeBeth was our main bartender, and she was excellent. We remembered each other from the Yelp event. We ordered two of the featured cocktails, Waterloo Rose Pedals (gin) and Svedka String Winder (vodka). My friend asked if the vodka drink was sweet and LaBeth stated she could add more lemon to her cocktail to counterbalance the sweetness. Both drinks were excellent, and although I liked my gin drink, I switched to the vodka drink for my second one after I had a taste of my friend's drink. A shout-out also to the "bartender in training", Jeffrey, who assisted us. The food was also amazing. We first ordered from the Small Bites menu. The Buffalo Cauliflower floret bites were lightly breaded and soft, with Bleu Cheese crumbles, and the buffalo dressing was provided on the side. Very tasty! The Veggie Eggrolls with the sweet Red Chili sauce was also a big hit. We then added a Chicken Caesar salad and the Fish Tacos from the Big Bites menu to also share. The salad was a good size, served in a large round, flat bowl, with the Caesar dressing on the side. The Fish Tacos were very FULL tacos, and the combination of the spicy sauce and the sweet and tangy coleslaw complimented each other well. We both agreed these were some of the best fish tacos we have tasted! Overall, a great place to stop in for Happy Hour and it is THE PERFECT stop before an event at the Dr. Phillips Performance Center.
