At the Cleveland Cavalier's game win over Denver Nuggets

Great facilities and a great game. We had our food delivered to our seats which was a nice treat.

really nice facility, awesome location. not the easiest to navigate, but it was okay. will definitely be back, go cavs!

Watching Cleveland Cavaliers playing at their home stadium The Q was a fun experience. Good energy and vibe from the players and fans. Love the upbeat music and of course those super HD video screens on 4 sides showing the action. All the best of luck for the 2016 Season and onwards.

I understand that Covid is still happening and that it is amazing in the first place that we are able to attend events like sporting games, but the hospitality and uncomfortable environment in which my friend and I experienced at a recent Cavs game was truly horrendous. I realize and understand and appreciate all of the work that the employees at the arena have done to ensure a safe environment, but the employees themselves are nothing but rude. My friend and I had seats in the nosebleeds, in which every couple/group is spread at least 8 seats apart, and we are still required to keep our masks on the entirety of the time, even in between sips of drinks and bites of food. The woman employee watching over our section continually was staring at us and making us feel uncomfortable, therefore making the eating experience not fun. We followed all precautions correctly. We ended up leaving the game extremely early because we were not comfortable or having fun knowing that we were being watched the entirety of our time when we just wanted to have a casual, relaxing, fun night.

The Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs, did really well this year. I don't want to say the would of, should of or could of. But the injuries to two of your top three players. Did hurt you guys in the finals. Yeah, yeah some will tell me "No shit Sherlock" for pointing out the obvious. But it's the truth and yes the truth hurts. Let's talk about LeBron James for a minute. This dude is freaking amazing. People will boo the hell out of him. But, let's be honest for a second. The same people booing will take him in a heartbeat for their teams. That's a fact. I'm not a Cavaliers fan, but just giving respect to the greatest player for this generation. That's another fact. The haters will say Kobe Bryant, but he's done. Love or hate James, he can't be denied how good of a basketball player he is. This off season is going to be interesting. Rumors of Love and Smith moving on. Also King James I believe is a Free agent. More depth is what this team needs. You guys have some good role players. But you need some very good bench players. It was very noticeable in the finals. Miller and James Jones are not the answers. So good luck in the draft and hope to see you guys at full strength next year. The East is yours. Sincerely VD.

Cavaliers Wine and Gold scrimmage: What can I say? It was great to attend the Wine and Gold scrimmage just to see the Cavs back on the court throwing a basketball around and better yet seeing number 9 for the first time in a Cavs uniform. It was good to see these guys loose and having fun. The crowd cheering the players coming out, all the smiles on everyone faces an even though LeBron didn't play just seeing him on the sidelines goofing off and relaxed shows you we're on our way to a winning season and another championship year and with the Indians on the verge of another World Series run and the Monsters trying for another Calder Cup Championship It's a great time to be a Cleveland sports fan. Now I can go to my favorite bar or club with a whole new set of lies to tell, "Hey I went to the scrimmage and (insert lie here) and it was one of the greatest moments of my life." But in all honesty I really had a good time and isn't that what its all about.

    It's always a good time.

I have been out of touch with most teams in the past two or three years except the New York teams and the Florida Marlins. So here's the playoffs and I'm wondering where this new team came from called the Guardians. After the first playoff game I realized it was the Cleveland Indians. I'm sorry but couldn't they have been a little more creative with a new name. I don't think the Seminoles have changed their name. Regardless Cleveland is having a good year. Maybe they'll win another World Series, but not this year! (I hope) How can I not like them. They won the World Series the year I was born! The team's World Series championship drought since 1948 is the longest among all 30 current Major League teams. So if they win I won't feel too too bad.

First, it's understandable to postpone the 17th's game due to smoke. An inconvenience, sure, but then they decide to inconvenience everyone wanting to attend the next days game by moving it to 7:10pm. Brilliant, let's mess with everyone attending that game as well. Of course, they don't want to miss a penny. What if people cannot attend the later game now? Are their tix and parking pass available for exchange? Yes, but only for the 17th's rescheduled game at 1:10. Hmmm, that seems okay, BUT the parking pass is no good if exchanged? Cannot get a new parking pass? Only a credit, and probably will have to park further out and pay more. Due to newly rescheduled 1:10 pm game filling the parking lot! Exchange tixs, sure, but no where near original seats, and could cost more?!? This was to be our second game since the ball club became woke and changed their name. This will now be our last. After waiting on hold and being cutoff twice, the third time was the charm and the nice lady informed us of the policy above. Funny how our AARP status did not matter, just walk an extra half mile, drive home at night with your bad eyes. No, you cannot exchange for the Sunday1:10pm game! Ever wonder why people choose day time games and buy parking passes close to the venue? Morons! If we were Native American we might have been upgraded to the terrace and have VIP parking. For non-hockey peeps, all the NHL (the highest level in American/Canadian hockey) has 2 associated minor league teams the higher league is the AHL. This team is associated with the Columbus Blue Jackets. This means that throughout the year, some players may be sent to this team or taken from this team. I love that Cleveland has a team (kinda wish they were associated with Pittsburgh, but that is ok). I love the mascot (s), the logo, and the overall fun that is associated with this team. The fun part of AHL is there is more of an aspect of community, fun, and family. The prices of the tickets are more affordable (the nosebleeds, which is the middle of the Q are only $10). It is a good way to get to enjoy the Q without the expensive price tag. There are cheerleaders (which I find weird) and sometimes even kids who are honorary cheerleaders. The media team is decent and shows replays (not all AHL teams have that capability). I suspect that much of the team is shared with the Cavaliers. They have fun promo nights with some geared to children. They even have a game you can take your dog to! I feel like this is not utilized enough as the games should be more filled than they are. The team itself ebs and flows. They recently won a championship, but both games I have been to they lost :-(. It is hard to gauge this as the team can be very different if the CBJ has many injuries. The hockey is fast and quality (these are potential NHL players). I only had to take a point because they are part of CBJ.... and I wish the crowd was larger.

The prices here haven't changed much since 1994. Actually this was a special Friday night promotion, but wow what a deal. The only place you'll see beers chugged faster than at Progressive Field is inside of a frat house. I will say the concourses were very tight mostly because thousands of men where chugging beers and not moving. However, once we got to our seats it didn't seem like there was a bad seat in the house. You get access to a wide variety of quality food. There are not a lot of buffets in the area these days. By default, this buffet is, therefore, one of the best buffets in the area. It wasn't very busy and we got through the non-member line quickly. We were excorted to a table and then we went to the buffet. The buffet is long, so it's a little walk to get from one end to the other. The food all looked good. We skipped the Mexican and salad sections. There was a tasty looking hamburger buffet, but I skipped that too. The pizza looked good as well, but since my life is full of pizza, I skipped that section as well. Finally, I saw the stuff I like - veggies, pasta, and meat. I didn't get any fried chicken, but I loaded up on pasta and various sauteed veggies like green beans, sweet potatoes, broccolini, and mashed potatoes. When I returned to the table, our drinks still were not delivered, but they arrived within a few minutes. The veggies were delicious, but the brocollini was a little tough. The mashed potatoes were awesome. I loved the veggies. On my second trip, I got some more veggies and mac n cheese. I didn't want to over eat, so I kept it to two plates. On Wednesdays or Thursdays, I will definitely be making a visit to this buffet because it is so much better than some of the other food in the area and in some cases, cheaper. Take for example, two summer rolls, a glass of water, and some noodles and veggies is $24 at a nearby restaurant. While this meal is tasty, it's not a good value. At yet another nearby food stand, I can get a bottle of water, veggies, meat, and noodles with sauce for $7 - a great value. But one can only dine at the same establishment so many times when the menu is limited. I'll be back, Jack!
