First time here this season. It was a rainy one, but the Browns won and played well. The staff were encountered were really nice and helpful. We had seats in section 341 and it was a nice view. The stadium was nice and most of it appeared well maintained. The rain was intermittent and we had ponchos so there's that. Food was expensive as expected but we did find lower cost options. The lines moved at a good pace. All in all, great experience. read more

For my 250th review I'd like to pay homage to two things I love. The Midwest and the Green Bay Packers. First off shout out to the Dawg Pound!!! Really great friendly fans. The tailgating scene there was a lot of fun. We parked in the municipal lot , which is located on the other side of the freeway from the stadium. Entry fee was fifty dollars , but with a carload of people , it makes it very reasonable. The party there was next level. People set up bars with couches , stripper poles, d j booths , and anything else you can think of. They get going way before game time. Alcohol is allowed in this lot. If you park in the lot associated with the stadium , alcohol is not allowed. I don't think grills are allowed either.But I'm not sure. Stadium is really decent also. Easy in and out the walk from the municipal lot takes about ten minutes and is not strenuous. Packers ended up losing the game and the fans were very nice about it. That's not always the case in other stadiums. I took at least 50 photos with opposing fans after the game. Rock and Roll hall of fame is also located right next to the stadium. If you're heading there for a game , you have to combine that with your visit. Pro football hall of fame is only an hour away.And also a really great experience. Appreciate the love and kindness shown by the people of Cleveland. GO PACK GO!!!!! read more

I attended the Brown's draft party/Journey concert at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Tickets were very affordable as the Browns season ticket holders got them free and were willing to resell them at value prices. Parking was not an issue as I work downtown and went after work. Admission to the event was about what you would expect; you need to have your electronic ticket available on your phone. The security check was fast and efficient. I was struck by how generic the concourse was; there are plenty of food stands but not a huge variety and there is really no style or anything to see. The bathrooms were clean, but also pretty basic. I was disapointed that the water fountains were not working. I did not see any of the promotional opportunities even though I walked through about half of stadium. My seat was the last row of lower bowl near the Dog Pound end of the Stadium. The seat was comfortable and not too crowded. The concert started about 10 minutes late from the day of start time which was 30 minutes later then the original announced start time. The stage was hard to see for a while since we were looking right into the sun and the stage was very dark. It also did not help that the band members were in dark clothing and were blending into the background. The video screens did help significantly. The sound was pretty good for a stadium show, loud without being oppressive. Journey put on a very good 80 minute show, playing all their hits. I will say the lead singer has a great voice and very energetic stage presence. If you get a chance to see them I would say go for it. Overall Cleveland Browns Stadium looks nice from the outside and inside the bowl, but the concourses could really use some sprucing up. There didn't seem to be a lot of variety in the concessions, mostly the expected stadium food. Pretty much a serviceable modern stadium, but not near the top of the NFL heap. read more

Welcome to the newly renamed Cleveland Browns football stadium, now called Huntington Bank Field as of September 2024. It has a seating capacity of over 67,000. It was previously called the First Energy Stadium. I first visited the Cleveland Browns stadium in July 2023 for the Night Nation Run, a fun glow-in the dark race. The run was in the early evening and I went with 3 gal friends and 1 guy friend. Participants got to run outside the stadium and inside the stadium walking area. We didn't run inside on the actual field. But, I did get to take a photo inside the stadium with the field in the background which was cool. I visited again for a 2nd time in October 2024 but this time, to watch a football game. FOOTBALL -- I visited on my birthday on the 20th of October in 2024 for an NFL game (Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns). The game was on a Sunday afternoon. I went with 3 female friends which was a ton of fun. Our seats were at the highest point of the stadium which we loved because we had a roof over our heads. In addition, we had a nice view of downtown buildings, Lake Erie, plus the field. There is a big screen as well to watch the match on. On game day, the weather was beautiful (low 70's) so even though I brought a white sweater, I didn't wear it. I only wore it once just to take a photo in it because the sweater had 'Cleveland Browns' written on it. The Cleveland Browns lost but we won the very next weekend against the Baltimore Ravens so go figure (LOL). I guess I couldn't get a game win on my birthday. If I can get another opportunity to go to another Browns game before a new stadium is built, I would love that. I recommend you attend a game too. The snowy home game against the Steelers on November 27, 2024 looked so cool to watch and to be there live (I wasn't there). I saw the game highlights on TV and it started off sunny and ended up in a snowstorm. These weather conditions can't be experienced in a new indoor stadium because an open outside stadium is just better sometimes. Sports are meant to be played outside in the weather elements and an indoor stadium won't mimic those conditions at all. FOOD/DRINKS -- Expensive. Not as expensive as airport prices but similar. Each section of the stadium has a food section so you won't have to walk far to another section to buy food. My friends and I all ordered chicken fingers with fries which came with 3 different types of sauces to choose from including BBQ sauce. The fries were okay but it needed more salt. The chicken fingers were hard and dry. I forgot the name of the brand or company that we ordered from but either way, the food was not the best (just fine). Most of us also ordered Gatorade plus a few ordered water because at certain points we got hot as the sun was burning through us (haha). Overall, I had a great time at my first Browns game on my birthday. Cleveland browns... more like... Cleveland frowns. Has anyone ever been happy with this team in Cleveland? They sure do talk about them a lot on the radio. What a waste of time. Never been to a game and never will in that dump they call a stadium. I've heard every seat comes with a free gust of freezing wind and the crushing weight of optimism only to be left to go home sad. Most just attend to get drunk and be obnoxious. I mean, may as well call it the drunk pound because that's what it is in reality. I'd rather go to the brookpark stadium to watch a game rather than in this dump. I mean, may as well call it Huntington Bank Dump because that's what it is. It's all a bunch of garbage. What a beautiful stadium and a great team and staff. The food is a 2/5 we had the popcorn which was decent but stale , the chicken fingers were tasteless and the fries were hard as bricks. While visiting for a concert recently, I realized the Browns were playing at home the same weekend we'd be in town. Nate and I enjoy sporting events and he's a big fantasy football guy, so we looked up tickets and got some for a reasonable price. The whole time leading up to the game I was worried about the weather, since the stadium is open to the elements and it's on the lake. However, we got so lucky with beautiful weather (for early November) - 50+ degrees and sunny! We actually got too warm at some points, which was great. The stadium itself was big and a bit confusing walking in. I wasn't sure where to go to get to our upper level seats at first - we ended up walking to a ramp that seemed like we were outside of the stadium, but we made it to our spot. I liked that we had a restroom nearby and never really had to wait too long in line. The crowd was super pumped up for the game which made for a really fun atmosphere. I appreciated that the drink prices were reasonable! We ate brunch before the game but the chicken tenders I saw passing by me looked delicious. The views from the stadium were pretty cool, as you can see part of the city skyline. It was a really fun experience and I'm glad we got to be a part of the "dawg pound" for a game! read more

I was here for The Rolling Stones show. As a concert venue, they've got some work to do regarding logistics and signage. Because the sections behind the stage area were blocked, pretty couldn't easily access their section. If you entered at Sec. 102 gate, you had to circle the entire stadium to get to the 130s. Also, the signage for upper level escalators is not clear. While this didn't impact me, I felt sorry for the folks on walkers or mobility issues. I wanted to wander the stadium as a first time visitor but when I saw the mess, I stayed put. The food and drink options seemed to be decent. The sound and lights for the show were great but I think this was more the Stones' doing. I'd come back for a show or football game but it's not my favorite stadium. read more

Oh, the Cleveland Browns--truly a masterclass in organizational genius. The owners dodge accountability like it's a full-contact sport. They tell their head coach, "Hey, we're rebuilding," then hand him a glorified practice squad of rookie QBs and a roster that looks like it was assembled during a blackout. When the inevitable struggles come, surprise, surprise--they fire the coach but keep Andrew Berry, the GM who's spent five years wasting the prime of the team's best players (all inherited, by the way). Brilliant! Why fix the architect of the problem when you can just swap out the poor guy left holding the clipboard? The owners must be proud of their tone-deaf decision-making. It's like watching a tragic sitcom with one punchline: "rebuild mode." Firing the coach but keeping the GM who set him up to fail? Genius. Nothing screams "we know what we're doing" like a leadership shuffle that guarantees more of the same dysfunction. Fun experience! We went to the browns game when they clinched the playoff spot. We had club level seats so the area has limited access. You have to scan your tickets to get to the escalators. Lots of food options and warm bathrooms. The stadium did a great job of entertainment though out the game. Lots of signage so it is easy to find your seats as well. Parking can be a pain bc nothing next to the stadium. Plan ahead to park and walk. read more

Home Of the Cleveland browns. I'm a huge browns fan who is born and raised and still lives in Louisville Kentucky. I try to every few years make a trip to Cleveland just for a browns game. I believe I've been to 9 different games at First Energy over the years. I use to take advantage of the triple packs offer where you got 3 games for 99 bucks. It's been a few years since we've been but the goal is to make one this year. Although covid may beg to differ. Very nice and spacious stadium with a great atmosphere with the passionate browns fan and the rocking muni lot. Very enjoyable place to watch a game. Obviously gets a little cold being on Lake Erie in the winter but it's football. Football was meant to be played on cold weather. Can't wait to go back soon. Go browns! read more

Been here a few times for games over the years, always a fantastic experience! Sad to see their website no longer offering tours. I've done their tours before and they were so informative and such great behind the scenes fun, hope they come back eventually. I've sat in the 7up city club seats, section 301-316. Lots of fun getting in early, 2 hrs before kick off with so much to watch on the field before the game. Remember like most stadiums you will have to go through a security check, bags checked .. see website for restricts. I usually go with a simple plastic gallon bag to get in. Cellphone, credit card etc. so many great viewpoints throughout this stadium. Great views of the city too! Food and beverages are good but pricey.. it's expected at a stadium, plan ahead. read more

As far as I know, a quality replacement of the mistake by the lake. Was here Sunday for the New York Jets Miracle By The Lake. Awesome time. Was disappointed in the beer selection at almost all the stands (Bud, Bud Light, Ultra and Bud Light Seltzer). However, they did have liquor, so my double Jack and Cokes were poured strongly and freely by the servers. Nice. And the Jets won. THE JETS WON !!!!! What more could you ask? read more

As a life long Detroit Lions fan, I've always wanted to road trip to an away game. A buddy and I decided to take the trip to Cleveland Ohio for the Browns/Lions Game. Our hotel was in downtown Cleveland and was maybe a 15 minute walk to the stadium. This was my first time to an outdoor NFL game. While the forecast was overcast with light drizzle, it did not disappoint. We had tickets in section 112 row 1 which were phenomenal. We figured when traveling to go all out. Seats were very good on the 20 yard line. Fans here stand the entire game which is different from Ford Field. One of the best things about this stadium was there were plenty of bathrooms with little to no wait times and plenty of beverage vendors. The Cleveland fans are awesome as well as they were very welcoming of visiting fans. I would highly recommend traveling to this stadium as a Browns or visiting fan. read more

My first Browns game at First Energy Stadium! Well, we lost, but still a great stadium experience on Sunday Night football. As with any sporting event, plan extra time for going through security. Once we got inside, the inside perimeter was packed, but the outside perimeter was super easy to walk around and had some small beer / drink stations with no lines! Overall, it's a nice stadium with classic foods and drinks you'd expect at an NFL game. There is a strange clear bags / no bags policy, so easiest not to bring a purse at all. read more

Really nice stadium right by the lake. I went there last year for the Eagles vs Browns preseason game. I am a die hard Eagles fan. The Browns fans were really nice. The concourse is a little small, but there are a lot of good options regardless. I like how the one end zone has bleachers for the Dawg pound. They're actually very spacious bleachers. We arrived at the stadium at 7 pm for an 8 pm Stones show. We were quickly ushered in, only to be turned away inside for not having a wristband for the infield section (standing room only, no seats.) We were told to walk down 4 gates where there were a mountain of people smooshing, pushing, and yelling while at a massive standstill. I am not claustrophobic but i had it then. Had to stare at the sky and then my feet to stop from hyperventilating. I had to ball my hands up in fists right in front to keep bumping people with my average chest. A couple of fans were yelling the front to rush in, trying to provoke a stampede. It was very scary. That lasted at least 45 minutes, and we missed part of the show. It was hot and stuffy. Ludicrous, absolutely! I didn't even try to take a photo, because I couldn't move. I was being pushed. It was miserable. read more

Rolling Stones concert Saturday night, June 16, 2024. The Stones killed, but.... Absolutely horribly run stadium. Got in the gate and went to our section on the field level. We were told we needed to go back to the Plaza level and get wristbands. There were thousands of people in line for the wristbands, and only a few people working. We waited 90 minutes in line for wristbands. Then, it took another 30 minutes of waiting in line to get back to our section. There were very few employees anywhere. Of those working, nobody had any answers or knew where we should go. Nobody had any information. The few people working just kept apologizing and said they didn't know anything. We missed the opening act, and we arrived at 6:00 for the 7:30 opening band. read more

The drury plaza hotel that we stayed, it Was within walking distance of the football stadium. it within walking distance of the baseball stadium. There is dining options nearby. They have a casino downtown, which is open all night overall not a bad option. read more

Nice stadium. The levels have different restaurants and carry out foods. Level four is suites only. Level three has Club seats. Level two and one are stadium seating with counter foods to carry back to your seats. Lots of beers and beverages are available. The plentiful bathrooms are big. Remember to use a clear bag or clear back pack as your "purse". Only a palm size clutch purse is acceptable. A clear gallon or quart bag will work, also. Give yourself lots of time to get here really early, and hangout. You can't rush to leave either. read more

You come to watch a bad team and somehow the venue is even worse than the team. Outside of being old and poorly built for capacity, is also right on the lake which means all the people get funneled through a couple entrances / exits and then they make everyone walk around the entire stadium through walkways that they have put up special barricades to make it extra narrow. Oh and would never attend a concert here again, there is a reason no one good comes to Cleveland. Whoever is in charge, clearly doesn't go out much to learn basic organizing like handing out wristbands in a logical way. Stadiums of comparable age in other cities are way nicer so now they want our tax dollars to fund them running this stadium into the ground. What a scam read more

I worked on the original construction of this stadium and all the stories you hear about a major rush job and how it's been falling apart don't surprise me. It's a crappy designed and built stadium. Build what you want haslams, move the team to Brook Park and build a domed stadium. Your team really sucks now by the way. Hire an experienced winning head coach. Draft your next QB in 2025 cause Watson was a horrible addition. Cleveland fans deserve better read more

My boyfriend and I are HUGE Browns fans and we absolutely loved this venue!!! It's so much nicer and cleaner than where the Bills play. And just for good measure, the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame is right next door. We always stay at The Marriott at Key Center in downtown Cleveland, so when we left on foot to the stadium, we were inside within 30 minutes!!! read more

There is one amazing thing that Cleveland has more than any other city in Ohio.....love for their football team. The Cleveland Browns might not be the best NFL team, but that doesn't stop their fans from supporting them every step of the way. I've been to many Cleveland Brown's games and whether you are sitting in general seating or the club seating section, there isn't a bad seat in the stadium. Of course, the club seating is preferred in the cold winter months when the lake air bears down because the club seating offers a heated clubhouse with fancy food, beer, snacks and wall to wall tvs with comfortable seating so to be sure never to miss the highlight of the game. But prior to the game, the tailgating and bar hopping is a must! The city is booming with excitment on every downtown street. Recommendation: before the game, enjoy brunch at the Chop House..park in the lot across the street, then enjoy some drinks, music and more food tailgating in the same parking lot before walking to the stadium. You'll be passing some amazing bars with more excitment and fun. Plan to pay about $15-$25 for parking...so plan to do some walking. On the way, enjoy the beauty of what Cleveland has to offer! read more

FirstEnergy Stadium is getting a little tired, but it will perk right up later, and at that point will change its name to SecondWind Stadium. Eventually, when the Cavs and Indians are winning lots of Championships but the Browns are still not, it will become the ThirdWheel Stadium. First-Hand Experience: Info on my personal visit to this stadium - I've seen a few Browns games here which were amazing, although I want to return to see a game in the Dawg Pound! I've also seen Boca Juniors face Celtic here (it was supposed to be AC Milan). It was a 0-0 draw but it was a good game. The stadium is absolutely wonderful, welcoming, not threatening at all. And it's right next to the lake. Perfect position by downtown. Beautiful. Now that I've been to every NFL stadium (current and former) and seen all 32 teams play live in the flesh, time to review them on Yelp! I love stadia! I've been to every cool sports arena in the UK & North America, it's an obsession I have with travel & sport. I've roamed America as a musician for years. In that time, I've seen sports games at (or toured when empty, or both) almost every major stadium in US/Canada. Many pictures taken which I'll upload eventually. On future travels, I'll new pix, and add more stadiums! Watch this space! ***back to regular review*** This has to be one of the most perfectly located stadiums in America. It's right in the heart of downtown Cleveland, and yet right on the very banks of Lake Erie. It's spectacular. When you drive on Route 5 and find yourself twisting and turning along the lakeshore, right past the stadium, it's one of the best sights for hundreds of miles in any direction. I've only seen one thing here... which was the Celtic vs Boca Juniors soccer game. I had tickets for AC Milan v Celtic but the Italians canceled (apparently they heard there is a lot more Polish Sausage than Italian Sausage in Cleveland). It was a really great stadium... it's a bit windy, but then that just allows maligned sports stars to eventually become windicated. The main reason it gets 5 stars is the location. It's also a modern and spectacular stadium, it's large, it's loud (like my p****), and it's got a location that every other city envies... right on the beautiful shores of the lake in gorgeous, idyllic, tropical Cleveland, OH.
