The main issue I had is that your time is shared with another person. I needed 100% PT time. Luna Physical Therapy offers individual PT in your house. Many of the exercises are devised from things you have in your home, stairs, chairs, walls, etc. I purchased a chair elliptical machine to help in my progress. Any concerns or questions you have are also addressed immediately. It's been a such a positive experience for me that I told my doctor about Luna. I also recommended Luna Physical Therapy to my neighbor who will have total knee surgery in a few weeks.

Last Friday I went for my first appointment at Summit Acupuncture. I am a long time sufferer of…read moremigraine headaches and I decided to give acupuncture a shot (not pun intended lol). I came across Summit Acupuncture while searching for a local practitioner, and I am so grateful to have found it. First of all,Kirsten Van Nostran, the Clinical Director was so incredibly professional, yet equally warm and kind during my initial workup. She patiently and attentively listened to me as I described my concerns and medical history, and she took the time to explain the potential benefits of acupuncture and how my overall health and wellbeing may serve to benefit from the treatment. The treatment room was clean and at the same time, it was relaxing. After explaining the placement of the thin needles and what would happen, Kirsten dimmed the lights and allowed me to relax for 30 minutes while I listened to soft music and closed my eyes. She came in a few times to check in on me, and I took the time to take a short nap as the needles did their magic. Afterwards, Kirsten came back with some reading material on acupuncture and we discussed my plan, which includes 6 weekly sessions, followed by a reevaluation based on my progress. The rest of the afternoon, I was so incredibly relaxed that I could barely stay awake or upright. I came home after running a few errands and then took the rest of the afternoon and evening easy. I would suggest not planning a busy day after your first treatment because you may also experience something similar. The prices are extremely reasonable, despite the fact that insurance does not generally cover acupuncture as a part of traditional healthcare plans. Their website is also very informative and will give you all sorts of additional information about the services offered, which include massage. I look forward to continuing my treatment plan, since I have already experienced less migraines this past week.
