I have basically been out of my apartment for over a month, essentially not using any power. My bill was $488. I called and was put on hold for an hour and ultimately hung up. I have been hung up on by the customer service team here in the past when I had a simple question on what was explained to me. This company should have gone out of business years ago. I know 0 people who have had a good experience, but we are faced to use them due to the buildings we live in. I am never one to wish ill-will on a local company, but Cleveland Public Power is hands down, the biggest piece of shit company. I cannot wait to move so I never have to use CPP again.     I submitted a request to transfer my service (from one apartment to another - same address, just…read moredifferent unit). I did this on-line through their Transfer Request form. I did this at the beginning of November. It is now January 6th, and I STILL have yet to receive my new bill or see the changed reflected on my account. I have called their customer service department 3 times and each time, I have waited for over one hour with NO ONE answered my call. I have submitted numerous requests through my account portal and their website; still, no one has got back to me. I assume either 1) my service will be shut off or 2) I will be hit with a massive bill in a month or two whenever they decide to get back to me. Absolutely atrocious business that should be investigated by some authority... HORRIBLE

    I am enthusiastic about geothermal heating and cooling, but very unhappy with the work from…read moreGeothermal Professionals. They are simply dishonest and do not provide quality workmanship. I intalled a four ton unit at my property and they screwed up so badly that it took me a over a year and several reworks to pass inspection. My water heater is already rusting and they seem disinterested in providing any solution. They claim that the 12 month warranty is passed, so they want me to pay to fix it. This took four months of me complaining to get any sort of response. I honestly think they stalled in responding, just so teh warranty period would pass. They are forcing me to replace it myself or sue them to get them to honor the contract. During the sales and install, I asked repeatedly about maintenance and service and the only answer I got - from clerical staff, field technicians, and teh owner himself - was taht the system is almost zero maintenance. Two weeks after the check cleared they started bombarding me with sales pitches to buy their service package. Suddenly, the system needed six month PMs, annual inspections for leaks, etc. Every call or question is like pulling teeth once they have their money. A rotten organization. I encourage you to consider geothermal heating and cooling, just never work with this company. Thanks, Jon P.
