Starting with the rude lady who answered the phone. Flowers were ordered for my daughter's graduation from Univ of South Alabama. They were never delivered. Called the florist to notify of not receiving flowers. She immediately went tried to argue that they had been delivered but was unable to explain to me the company policy and procedure to confirm delivery. After several minutes of her over talking, a refund was requested. She hung up the phone before we could even go over how the money would be refunded. Five return calls were made but she refused to answer phone. I will never again use this florist nor will I ever refer them to anyone to use. Very poor customer service and unprofessional staff. read more

Have attached pics of Mother's Day flowers only minutes after delivery. Called and was told "not possible to replace until following week". I asked for email address so i could send pics. ....thought they would want to see what they sent. Asked that they call or replace but a week later no response. Am sure my daughter who lives in Nyc was taken advantage of. Extremely disappointed. Did I mention I live about 2 blocks away and she was charged $12 delivery fee? read more

I approached Cleveland the Florist to do my wedding flowers in 2014. Our wedding was in Mobile, but I live in Colorado, so was doing all the planning long distance. I first contacted them in February, even though the wedding wasn't until October. Because it was so close to Valentine's Day, they were slammed and asked me to call back later in the month so they could focus on my event. I called back a couple weeks after Valentine's and spoke to LeNae Denson. When I called the first time, she had asked me to put together an inspiration board on Pinterest, which thrilled me since I'd already started a board for flowers there. But the next time I called, I spent more than 20 minutes trying to help LeNae log in to Pinterest. I'm sure it was frustrating for both of us. LeNae gave me a rough budget and we went back and forth via email a few times regarding miscellaneous details. My fiance and I had planned a visit to Alabama in June, and I asked if LeNae would be available during the week of our visit to meet with us and get everything finalized. We made an appointment months in advance and I confirmed it with her a few days before we were scheduled to meet. My fiance and I had scheduled meetings with all our vendors during the week we were in town, and appointments were back-to-back for the most part. We had very little free time (even to spend with family) and would not be back in town before the wedding a few months later. LeNae STOOD US UP. She was not in the shop when we arrived for our appointment. She'd also left her phone on her desk so no one could reach her, and no one else there seemed to know anything about us, our event or our meeting. We were 10 minutes early, so we waited, but LeNae never showed up. Another woman at the shop, Carla was willing to discuss the wedding with us. She was friendly and knowledgeable, and spent about an hour with us going over arrangements, bouquets, corsages, and so many little details. At this point we still had no contract with them. I asked if she would like us to submit a deposit or sign anything, and Carla said it was up to us. I'm glad I trusted my gut to wait, because it took 3 weeks for anyone to follow up with us, and LeNae never apologized for missing our appointment. I felt unimportant and let down. I was astounded at the lack of professionalism Cleveland the Florist displayed, and the rudeness of the staff (except for Carla) when we had traveled across the country to meet them (not to mention the fact that we were planning to spend thousands of dollars with them on wedding flowers). While we waited for any kind of apology or update from Cleveland, we shopped around for a new florist and booked someone else about a week later. I've seen photos of other weddings Cleveland has done, which were gorgeous and one of the reasons I sought them for our wedding. Unfortunately, trying to work with them was one of the worst experiences of the entire wedding planning process. read more

Our company sent a spray to a co-worker whose mom had passed away. The spray went to the funeral home but to the wrong deceased person. When I asked my co-worker if she got the spray she told me no, so I immediately contacted Clevelands. They tracked down the error and sent my co-worker a lovely plant with a letter of apology. They gave us our money back and also sent us a letter of apology. I think it was more the fault of the funeral home than Cleveland but the florist made it right. BTW, the deceased woman's family sent us a thank you note! How funny is that? They had no clue why this business would send their mom a huge spray!!! They got the order all wrong. We needed a wrist corsage for my son's homecoming dance for his girlfriend. We wanted it to have red roses with red and black ribbon. what we received was an Ugly chest corsage that they tried to change by adding white ribbon to tie it without the elastic for a wrist. We were charged twice the amount then as we would if we were to go to Winn Dixie florist we chose Cleveland because we thought we were using an expert but we are very disappointed. read more

Um, no. Go elsewhere. My husband ordered flowers through Teleflora for me for my birthday. The flowers arrived. They were a sad, sad, little bouquet. Granted, he didn't pay an arm and a leg for bouquet, but when I looked online at the picture on Teleflora, the arrangement that Cleveland presented looked, well, like a grocery store grab 'n' go bouquet for $9.99. When I called Cleveland to ask them about this, Pam, answered and said it was standard bouquet, and they had to substitute items if they didn't have what was in stock as shown on the Teleflora website. That's fine, but $55 for delivery of a bouquet worth $9.99 is really sad. I was actually pretty nice about it (my toddler having a temper tantrum in the background was pretty annoying, though). Then, when I said that if this was the best they could do I didn't think I'd be using them anymore, she said, "Fine." and hung up. Way to go, Pam!! Fine way to work with a customer! Stellar service!! So, I called back and asked to speak to the manager. I was told there was no manager there today. Then I asked who was speaking and why she hung up on me. "I did NOT hang up on you. I had nothing else to say." Really?? "Fine." That's the way you end a conversation you don't like? Are you a 14 year old who didn't get to go to the movies with her friends? Because that's exactly what you sounded like. I would not have written a review, nor contacted Teleflora about the sad little bouquet, if she'd had at least the courtesy of saying, "I'm sorry you feel that way. Good-bye." While traveling from Texas to Alabama to surprise a family member for her 50th birthday, Sherry helped with our order of 50 roses. She made sure that they would stay open for us to pick up our order. I ordered red and black. I got white ( wilting) with black ribbon. It was supposed to be a wrist corsage. It looks like it was once a chest corsage turned into a wrist one. It was double the price we've paid for ones from our local grocer florist, in the past. I will never order a corsage from them again. Do not use! They screwed up my delivery from my husband. At the time, we lived in an apartment. The day they delivered, I was not home. Instead of contacting me or leaving at the apartment office, they just gave them to my neighbors. Neighbors that I don't know. Thank goodness the neighbors were honest enough to deliver them. But it was several hours later. I had no knowledge they were there. I called the florist asking for the whereabouts of the delivery. They said they dropped it off at my address and hung up. When I called back to demand a better answer, the lady said that the order was there with her. About this time, a knock on the door and it's my neighbors, with my arrangement. I was extremely impressed with Cleveland Florist. I called late (B-Day flowers for my wife) and they prepared and delivered the flower arrangement w/in a couple of hours! Not only was the arrangement bigger and prettier than I anticipated, the cost was VERY reasonable! I plan to use them again for my future orders and would recommend them highly to EVERYONE! Terrible place, tried ordering on two separate occasions, both times DISAPPOINTING. Do not waste your money. Such a shame! Valentines Day and Mother's Day, the bouquets did NOT look anything like the picture online or in store pamphlet. What a waste of $100, would of looked better picked myself elsewhere and arranged by a child. Either get the appropriate help or learn how to arrange correctly. It is disappointing when an order is meaningful for the consumer spending $100 plus yet receives such a sad delivery. Again, do not waste your time and money. read more

My Grandmother died and I was in charge of the funeral. Charlotte waited on me & she was exceptional. I was emotional so I just told her my price point & asked that it look good. The arrangements and boutineers exceeded my expectations. She was a gem & I would recommend her with the highest regard.
