During that time, I wasn't even offered a glass of water while I waited for my friend to arrive. The dining room was also very cold, so I asked if I could switch tables. After being moved, I was again told, "I'll be right with you," but still no one offered water or checked in. When my friend arrived, we noticed another available table we preferred. We asked the host if we could move, and her response was, "I'm 'bout ta clock out, so y'all are gonna have to wait for the next host." The interaction came across as dismissive. Since she was already helping us, it would have taken very little effort to simply walk us to the other table or assist us before her shift ended. Overall, I was so turned off by the lack of hospitality and customer service that it overshadowed the entire experience. I've always enjoyed Cooper's Hawk, but unfortunately, this visit left such a negative impression that I don't plan on returning to this location.

The Seabass was more breaded than Parmesan crusted. Usually When I order this it is Seabass topped with shredded Parmesan cheese and baked, this was not that! Then the sauce that covered the spinach and potatoes and lobster pieces had red chili flakes added(which is not noted on the menu) which added "heat" to the dish that I was not expecting nor was I able to eat. For $55 I was very disappointed. No, I didn't mention this at the time as we were dining with family and I didn't want to disrupt the dinner by sending it back. Such a simple thing to note on the menu description! The short rib was the best entree of the table, nice portion and delicious sauce. The filet was tiny, maybe 4 oz. Definitely not anywhere near 8 in as stated on the menu and it was hard to find with all of the broccoli on the plate. We will be visiting family here again but definitely won't be back here. They source their hybrid vines which are grafted, from Cornell University grapes. Their wines have great names such as Swoon, Sassy, or Crimson! All the wine is cold pressed and made on site. They quark all their wine and make about 5,000 bottles per year. Mansfield Frazier is the owner with his lovely wife Brenda. They personally run the joint and take great care of their costumers and wine. I was here for a 20+ person event with the Cornell Alumni Club and they did a fabulous job accommodating everyone! There is plenty of parking and space to walk around outside. There is a bit of seating inside and very knowledgeable staff around to talk about their products. The Wine itself far exceeded my expectations. We tasted three reds plus the Chardonnay, and we enjoyed all of it. The blueprint red blend was my favorite followed by the Chardonnay.
