Functional Medicine focuses on adding what the body is missing or lacking (nutrients, vitamins, hormones etc.) and removing what the body doesn't need via detoxification. The second appointment that I had the following week scheduled was canceled in less than 24 hours notice because the provider was not available. I schedule for another appointment for the following week & I confirmed via email and then I received a phone call around 6:30 informing me that I needed to be there at 2pm. I explained to the person that I confirmed for 2:30 as that was my appointment time, the staff was ridiculously rude and talked over me as I explained that I work and it takes almost a half hour to get there. She then informed me that I had a following appointment for the following week, I had not scheduled for that appointment nor had the time off set with my employer. I explained that I was not going to make any appointments for this company as they are disorganized. I explained to cancel the appointment. The staff refused to hear me and said they would see me tomorrow. I received a follow up text from them saying I had an appointment and I canceled my appointment and blocked them from further text messages. Office with one or two doctors...I hate when there are a bunch of people in the waiting room( especially gross sick ones ugh!). 3. Friendly, staff that actually returns calls! 4. Doctor that doesn't make you feel rushed and listens to your issues! 5. Easy to access, not in a big building that is hard to park in. 6. Available appointments. Dr. Riley is all these things and more. I'm really happy with the ease and the great medical care. His nurses are good with needles as well. I am writing this review to help someone else who is in the same boat as me. When I got to camelback family planning it was very welcoming and nice staff. I took a zofran to help with nausea, right when I got there today they got me right in, my appointment was at 9:45 and I was out at 11. did the ultrasound, talked it over with the doctor (who was INCREDIBLY sweet) a stylish blonde fabulous older lady, who I expressed I was very nervous. She helped me along the entire thing and made me feel so unbelievably comfortable. The nurse in the room with me as well was fabulous. It was much more relieving then I expected. Mid convo in the procedure room I went out from the IV and then felt like one minute later I was in the recovery room, where a very sweet nurse also took care of me. I remember absolutely nothing until I woke up 30 minutes in the recovery room. If you are scared you will remember anything during the procedure don't worry you won't remember a thing. I was very worried about that. I am now home and feel so much better. I have light bleeding and cramps and I am so glad I went with the procedure over the pill, which I had originally planned on doing the pill but was talked out of it by friends saying this is the way to go. I wouldn't have done it any other way. This place is incredible and they really treat you like one of their own. If you are hesitant on doing this let me be your say on go here! I couldn't recommend more and will be recommending it to anyone I know in the future. Dr Natasha takes the time to answer questions and address concerns. She is kind and has a sense of humor. The lab is amazing. The phlebotomist does the most painless blood draws I've ever experienced and results come back quickly. Dr Natasha also explains lab results through the messaging app which is much faster and more pleasant than other offices that take a "no news is good news approach." Also, the app is great. I've used it a couple of times and it has saved me some visits to urgent care.
