For context, I am not overweight, I am on a gluten free, natural food diet, and workout. I came to Natural Med Doc to help get to the bottom of a constant energy and supposed thyroid problem. They claimed to be able to help, but took the exact method that I've seen from every other doctor. Even a primary could take. Put me on thyroid medication and then did expensive. Blood draws every 3 to 6 months. The difference was an expensive on front payment with no proof of work and then nickel and diming everything they possibly could on going. If you are addressing a chronic Health problem, I would definitely not go to this Clinic. If you are overweight and would just like to pay expensive fees for blood draws and a general Health coach then I guess this is your place. read more

The doctor was sweet and pleasant but the payment structure and monthly cost feel scammy. You have to pay monthly for access to prescriptions, which you of course also have to pay for, along with paying for each blood draw and appointment. As well as a new member cost. Feels like I paid a LOT of money for one blood draw and an appointment going over the results. Not worth it in my opinion and there are other places that accept insurance that do the same thing. read more

It has been almost a year working with Natural Med Doc. I see Dr. IBarra. She is so kind and a good listener. She does everything very thoroughly, using detailed testing from professional labs. Originally, I went to my primary doctor feeling off. They ran tests and didn't find a thing. She did the same tests and some additional. The normal range for a standard medical practice is a bit different than when you see a more natural practitioner. I got results here. I know many wonderful individuals who dig deeper and can find issues a standard practice cannot. However, the supplements those practitioners provide, I am usually unable to take due to sensitivities. Best of all, I can take their products with no issues. I can call any time. I have been suffering from Hashimoto's since I was 16, and I have been to many regular doctors that only gave me synthroid, and it would not remove any of the symptoms I was feeling. I was still lethargic, moody, had constant brain fog, etc. I may not be overweight, I just ate regular food. I could think, I could remember, I had energy; and I cried because of that moment. I have been with Dr. Sarah since 2019 and am slowing lower my need for medication. I believe I can be cured even though I got the death speech multiple times back with regular doctors, Of course Dr. Sarah really helped but it's on me to prioritize my health, my future. I have been a patient for quite a few months. Pro: Dr. Garcia was very sweet and easy to talk to. She listened to the issues. My brain fog decreased. Cons: The front office staff does not return calls. So hard to get someone on the phone. It takes multiple calls to get a response. The pharmacy stated they called multiple times with no response. During my treatment with them I would go long stretches without meds that were needed because I couldn't get a response. It's too costly to not have good service and hard to follow a plan when you can't get supplements and medications as ordered. read more

one minute Im told I need to spend $314 for a ongoing AZ State required blood test to make sure my levels are good, the next minute I'm charged $400 for a refill WITHOUT the blood test OR my approval. Thats just the tip of the iceberg at this place. there are several other places in Scottsdale that take your insurance and treat you much much better. Not to mention the prices are better. The place I went to, virtual MD, charged me $95 for blood work and the progesterone went through my insurance. Look elsewhere. read more

For more than 20 years, I have been telling several doctors that I don't feel like myself; that I was in constant fear of the intense pain (and other factors I won't mention which have landed me in the hospital more than once) during my cycle. I told them how I experienced bouts of extreme, inexplicable weight gain (40-50 pounds in mere months), and I was feeling like there was constant pressure around my throat. Most of those doctors from my past said I was fine and just overly stressed from work, school, etc. Two doctors said it was all in my head. Most ignored my symptoms and never even ran tests. The few that ran tests prescribed medicine that didn't work, then didn't pursue other solutions. Dr. Springhetti is so kind, personable, and informative. She thoroughly explained my blood work, included notes and diagrams on my labs (for my convenience), and she provided me with a treatment plan that felt doable. She answered all of my questions and addressed all of my health concerns. She showed me how my hormones and thyroid impact my body and mind. She never offered or tried to talk me into going on birth control to regulate my hormones or tried to prescribe me something that only masked my health concerns. Her treatment plan was outlined in a way that would work with my current lifestyle with important changes that I could make without having to drastically change my life. She gave me her opinion on which supplements, medications, and lifestyle changes I should start now and which ones we could discuss implementing in the future, if needed. I really liked that she presented me with all of the information, gave her opinion on a treatment plan, and let me decide how much I could take on to start. I give this 2 stars because I did like the doctor to begin with but that changed after a while....let me explain. I am a Type 2 Diabetic. I went to NMD because I did not want to be on medication and was willing to do whatever necessary to get my numbers down. I followed the doctors plan and my numbers were improving. I purchased the membership and even purchased the 14-day detox program and followed that too. I purchased hundreds of dollars in supplements as well. The numbers (and even my weight) continued to improve, albeit very slowly, but that was okay with me. The doctor then indicated that I should try to add beans to my daily routine as that has shown (in some people) to also improve their numbers. So I added black beans to every day and when I went back after that month, my numbers had gone up! I was so disappointed. BUT....instead of saying, wow, we added beans to the diet, maybe we should remove those, she suggested OZEMPIC! Yes, a pharmaceutical drug -- apparently the rage right now -- but the very thing I was trying to avoid when I went to NMD. After all the money I spent, and working hard to follow the program, the solution is to prescribe Ozempic?!?. Needless to say, I ended my membership (had to pay the penalty to do so), but I ended it nonetheless. If I want to go on Ozempic or any other medication, I can go to a regular doctor. Sadly, I cannot recommend NMD, even though I really did like the doctor as a person. read more
